I'm pretty sure at ten til three, the sun was not out, and it was still raining in East Brainerd. Believe me Grace's coach did not want to move the game or postpone, hence the late notice. This is a huge gate night for them. The game could have been played at Grace, but then all we would have heard was how horrible the field drained for weeks afterward (Temple last year) . Boyd's not getting a bad deal, two games on your own field, split gate both years, and concessions.

Grace Athletic passes will be accepted at the gate.

Grace got the stops when they had to have them, and offensively Grace was clicking.

Looked like a hamstring, (could have even been cramps) late in the first half. He did come back in and play most of the second half.

Even with the recruits Allen couldn't get it done. Eagles win 48-35, missing three starters. Blake and Cross are tough to beat.

Improved that much? Beating a bad Oliver Springs team and a nothing in Riverside is not really a demonstration of improvement. They could have done that last year. As far as Graces players go, they were a somphomore laden team last year. The physical ability and strength difference alone is huge between 10th and 11th grade, not to mention their skill progression and poise.

Didn't Silverdale get beat pretty handily to the same Central team Grace tied in a pre-season scrimmage? Then they were destroyed by Marion County. (Just before they backed out on Boyd.) Grace wins by at least a touchdown, even with the six players who just happened to all show up at Silverdale in the same year. (Is anyone really that naive?)

Riverside Christian is in Fayetteville, Tennessee. The school has about 300 students K-12. This is their first year for football. Look them up at riversidechristianacademy.org

Grace tied Central in the Jamboree 0-0, Silverdale tied ND, then Friday Central beat ND by double digits. I think Grace wins by at least a touchdown.

I thought Allen's comments were interesting. While other schools do get transfers, there aren't many (even Temple) that get 6 at once. Not sure his comparison with Christ came out right.

Where is this game being played?

Silverdale's AD and headmistress were confronted with several of these accusations, especially Allen appearing at Dalewood middle school and getting athletes names and they denied it and said they would not even look into the situation. They trusted him completely. Maybe after Temple they will reconsider.

Boyd was the school Silverdale cancelled on and they are not a Hamilton County School

Grace wasn't suppose to scrimmage Boyd. I think it was Silverdale who didn't show up.

"Some of the best talent in the state", you have to be kidding. Grace's sophomore center held your "best" to 7 points (one long range three) and ran circle's around her, while Rector was sucking wind. Clarkrange will destroy Temple, and would even with better coaching.

Grace by 15. I don't think it will be close this time, but it does depend on how intense carter plays.

There is a girl by the name of Amber Howard who played 8th grade this year and is only in 7th grade. She is the real deal. She goes to Grace Academy and will play Vasity next year not sit varsity but will play alot. The high school coach over there is excited about getting her. She can shoot, drive and finish, and sees the floor really well.
