This is my personal opinion as is Donothan or whoever. I must say I would have to disagree with some of the comments about Smiths situation. Being a highschool student along with some posters on here i'd question your ability to ask why and at the same time make comments that the guy doesnt deserve. Until we have to pay our own bills or support a family then you cant blame a man for trying to better himself and his family when the opportunity comes. Along with how it sounds to be a coach in a county where academics is the #1 priority and im sure everyone knows how Mrs. Webb is with the sports at IHS, that took a toll. I cant agree with everything that went on but as I know Coach Smith personally as do some posters on here ask yourself, what has Smitty done wrong to you? Id say Science Hill got a heck of a coach and one of the best teachers ive gone through. Good Luck COACH Smith and congrats S-Hill. Also, we probably dont even know the whole story to it.

I would put it more on the principal than anything over the AD if that was to even be the case.

How can you say Price got the best of Kuchar last night. Indy on top, Kuchar had more points, assists, and steals then Price. Kuchar with the clutch free throw and steal on the final inbounds to seal the game. On top of that how can you beat a team who misses 7 shots the entire game in the first matchup. Luttrel's dunk was impressive as it was on atleast one or two defenders. The second one wouldve topped it if it went down smooth. Game over, Indy on top.

Ok before you get all high and mighty on Franklin, lets start by the officiating. That could have possibly been the worst officiating I have seen in years. Funny thing is it was all on the same referee (only one with glasses.) Secondly the matchup of the two teams is dead on except the big man from Indy. The PG's from both teams are about matched up but Kuchar from Indy took this one. Indy was sloppy and sluggish the first half. Played very poor defense and couldnt hit anything. Indy picked it up the second half but with its 9 or so point lead let their guard down with the big man fouled out. Even with all that Indy came out on top. So Franklin this and franklin that but until the two are both on the same court both are matched well and it could go either way.

It looks like FHS and IHS are close to even as far as talent. On one hand you had Clarksville beating FHS by 3 early in the season, Indy rolled over Clarksville by 22. Both teams lost to Mt. Juliet. It could go either way.

Indy was sloppy all night and still beat out HHS by 10. As for CHS over Indy, thats a joke. The first game was only close because of Byrd's big night. You would have to have Lamont and Kelly putting up 25+ to make it a game. Yes FHS vs IHS will be the district game.

Your serious? Indy has one or two making all the shots when Centennial has..Drew Kelly, without him your below Hickman County. Take away one guard from Indy and you still have Kuchar running point, Lattrell in the post, Johnson and King with the outside shots. Take away the big man, which has been done ALOT this year and they still win with all guards putting in. CHS got handled by Indy in round one. Byrd had the game of his life and thas the only thing keeping that game from a blowout. Lamonts good for blocks and rebounds. Kelly is the all around player. That post was a joke. As for crowds, heard FHS rolled solid but Indy can compete.

Until I see Indy vs FHS I would go either way for the number one spot in the district. Behind that should be Hillsboro and its anyones game after. By the way big game tonight at Hillsboro. 7pm-Boys game, Indy vs Hillsboro.

Independence. Home game = Hundreds / Away game = Matches home f-section if not more. Last year siegal was pretty deep too.

Ya it was a SOLID 22 points for the night. Huge confidence booster and if he keeps it up and our outside shooting picks up like it was before BHS then I dont see too many losses this year.

Well, tied 19 all after the first quarter. Hard to beat a team who shoots 79% from the field when mid 40% is a good shooting night on average!! Give Brentwood credit as EVERYTHING dropped tonight for them. Not to mention one of their big men hitting a long range three with 6'7 post on him. JUst one of those nights. Look for Indy to hit Ravenwood hard tomorrow. Its not always bad to get the first L out of the way as well.

Dude, Indy lost by 7. WITH A SOPHMORE QB. If Cordell doesnt jack the burger, this game would have been the COMPLETE other way. Period. Also, good job at the end by Nick(sophmore) to do what he did as I think this was his first or second start..ever in highschool. The kid was told Wed. he was the starter and had ONE day practice to adjust. DC's running game is legit. Just wait till the rematch with the real QB. And as for RHS, an unhappy IHS football team is not good for them.

From what I heard its not that schools dont want to to do it, its the money. Its like 100$ each test to each kid. That racks up and most schools or school systems cannot afford that. Period. But it should be done. Gov't pays in my opinion.
