  1. Camden just continue to play your core game. Keep pushing on, show CPA and the rest of 5-2a what you can do. Either way, we all know you've got a heck of a program. Look to see a great game this Friday..but everyone knows that
  2. I believe that GC will bring the pressure, but i think Southside will prevail. At least I hope they do. Probably another tough game come friday, so be ready JSS..just do your thing and keep rollin
  3. This here is a very flush and punishing team, especially if you don't watch out. Great game Friday night, as usual the Rebels took care of business. I look to see another great showing. Could be a fight until the very end, but I sure hope to see McKenzie come out on top and keep pushing their rebel spirit all the way to the Championship. Good luck guys
  4. Well best of Luck to 6-2a in the playoffs. I would love to see an upset tonight starting with the Tigers, but yes it is Very doubtful. True anything can happen on any given night. CPA is sharper than most teams in our region, but that doesnt mean our squads can't perform with theirs. I look to see very tough matchups goin down. I can't wait to be there to see it unfold
  5. Camden should win this one. Keep it going Lions, keep it strong
  6. Milan, by plenty. This Bulldog team should come out strong and finish with a pounding. Good luck in the playoffs guys!
  7. I always enjoy watching this region play, although my team is in 11AA. I do agree that the Gold Ball should stay in region 12. Good luck to you guys, always a pleasure watching West Tn basketball
  8. Yeah, Im right there with yall.. Not too far away from season opener anymore. I can't wait for the games to begin, it'll be great. Pretty much all the teams in Cheatham County should make alot of noise, again, this season. I think this is where the Rebels will struggle most in D-play. The Indians have an elite club that should repeat, they'll be all over the place. War Eagles will definitely fight right there with ya, gonna keep your hands full. As for the Cubs, well their team is no knock-off, look for a more aggressive matchup each time you play them.
  9. Murray State..Racer country..good OVC program as far as I could tell. The Rebels could make some noise if they Utilized their players. Seniority on this team could really help them. 3pt shot, post players, covering the paint..Bramlett has a good team, but unless others can step it up a notch this team won't go as far as it could.
  10. I'm in no disagreeance here. Stating that the reason LCHS was held to 0pts was due to the region champion, and that Fairview wouldnt make it happen again. The Panther power is too strong for that against this club.
  11. I'm sticking with 6-2a champs here. DCA will give a battle by all means, but I feel the Lions coming away with the Victory.
  12. If Waverly expects any kind of victory, of course they have to give ALL they got and more. And upset is always possible, wouldn't be so bad here either. Good luck Tigers
  13. Very Unlikely. The Panthers were held to 0 by the 6-2A Champions. I'm not saying Fairview isnt good, but they definitely Wouldn't stop Lewis Co. in a shutdown game. Like Dzone said, it's not going to be repeated by Fairview.
  14. Jackson South Side will bring all the power in this fight JSS wins by 17+
  15. SCHS faces a tough road..being a contender in this district comes with toughness and readiness all the way around. With the loss of Wojtal and Wallace, the one definite missing link will be the speed and agility on the Defensive side of the ball..will the seniors be able to step it up and fill that void in? that's a good question. I believe Bramlett will have another good looking season in the Rebs, they just need to stay focused and finish in their games. The starting lineup, in my eyes, should be West, Lancaster, Hargis, Earhart(Ryan), and probably Wooten. Having the senior leadership and gameplay experience will be better than the younger guys. If Taylor(Jacob) got bigger and more aggressive, then you'd have an extra good-sized inside and post man to deal in the equation. This is a good squad. They have some range in West and Hargis, but they Need more consistency. Lancaster has gotten alot tougher and more profound around the boards and in the paint, but he needs to be better utilized. With Jake West being another likely candidate for d-MVP and the go-to-guy many times for the Rebels, the opponents will try and shut him down..that's when the other players should step up and be a leader. West isn't the only one who can play on that team, therefore when he gets Down there should be someone else pick it Up. I look to see another great Coaching season from this school. Become a better 2nd Half (game and season) team. Your true response will come in the clutch.
  16. I do believe that Camden played Huntingdon and Westview, which are two solid west tn. programs. They first loss to a tough Charger group in 6-7 battle. Then they followed up with another strong club, meeting Chris Donald (#1 RB in nation) and the rest of the 'now injury stained' Huntingdon Mustangs. That game was settled for a 7-6 W. And im sure Goodpasture knows first-hand that it's no walk-in-the-park to get a Victory from the mustangs (playoffs last year: 14-10). True in that there are only a few good-decent teams in 6-2a, but you can't knock the Panthers and Lions for not playing any CREDITABLE opponents.
  17. I'm honestly pulling more for the 6-2a teams, but in no way will I undermind or under-estimate the force some of the region 5-2a teams bring to the table. Tough schools, exceptional players, great ball games. Some of the best teams of 2a come from these regions. I am ready for playoffs to get here and finally see these squads faceoff.
  18. 2 strong west tn. programs here. Another great game to see. Should be more of a low scoring game with the weather factor. If they hold on to the ball and stay solid against the Charger front, look to see them Bulldogs push ahead for the W on a soggy friday night
  19. Thanks, i'll probably just stick with bbq. Bring the rain jackets and ponchos, then just settle on in..that's the way to do it followed with some concessions and the sound of clashing helmets. You just have to love football season guys
  20. Yeah, Ill be there. This is a great 6-2A game, and I can't wait to watch the performances from these clubs in the playoffs. Best of luck to you boys. I think I will stop and pickup some good bbq or mexican food before the game..any good suggestions?
  21. Raiders roll past the Irish by at least 3TD
  22. Good post..bout a month and half until the season is underway. I can't wait to make my way to Cheatham county, plenty of action this season in that area. Always a pleasure to see the Indian fans all steamed up, and same goes for the War Eagle student section..SC 'rowdy rebels' are fun to see(im sure they have the Cheatham Co. game marked already). Looks to be a tougher year than last. High School basketball, you gotta love the atmosphere.
  23. Thanks but last time I checked I was entitled to my opinion. I have heart and pride for the Rebels. I Hope they do good..I Hope they do Great. You believe what you want and I'll believe what I want. I think Cheatham has a pretty good team, but you never know how it could come down to it. We don't all have to post the same as you and some others feel.
  24. I can't wait for this Region's play to get underway. Sycamore and Harpeth look even better, Cheatham Co. will also bring added pressure to the table. I like the Rebels, though losing Wojtal and Wallace will hurt their Defense a bit..they have a pretty hefty schedule upcoming, so maybe that will toughen 'em up. Good luck boys! 1. Harpeth - Very tough squad, lookin' sharp and ready to win another tournament 2. Sycamore - Great shooting, talented athleticism 3. Stewart County - you never know. With West and Lancaster, the push could come this year. I'm just opening some options up 4. Cheatham County 5. Creekwood 6. Montgomery Central 7. Waverly 8. Fairview
