The last year under Satts coaching the team went 7-4 and lost to Watertown and lost in the first round. That team also started about 6 sophomores. Does that sound familiar?

Sounds to me like slim has it figured out. We don't need a state championship winning coaching staff here. The coaches obviously don't know what they are doing

Coach Keeton is the def. coordinator for the jackets and he lost his wife in a car accident yesterday.

My thoughts and prayers are with Coach Keeton and the rest of the players and staff during this difficult time. God bless

What about Bridgestone Arena? Could it hold a football field. I remember that the Kats played there but it was not a full football field. Its seats enough people to host it, but if its not sold out it would not look "empty". Also, since its inside, the crowd noise would be loud. What an atmosphere. Just a thought.

Snowball, I went fishing with a few guys from the Town Creek area. Hazelwood was a school in Town Creek. These guys told me that Hazelwood High School Closed recently. They area all now going to Town Creek High School. They actually told me that they were at the Creekbank that faithful night when we came from 21 down to win the game. They said we were the best high school football team they had ever seen. TC beat Hazelwood in 1999 and Hazelwood went on to win the state championship in their classification in 2000.

With all do respect to the Adamsville defense, they will give up a few more points this year. Its not because Coach Woodmore or the defensive personnel. I have been led to believe that Adamsville has gone to the Tony Franklin system on offense. This means that they will throw the ball many more times than they run it. So, with all the being said, the offense will probably use less clock putting the defense on the field a lot more this year. This is one of the problems with this type of offensive system. Good luck to the Cards on a great year. I was able to make it to a game down there last year and all of their fans were great.

I honestly don't believe you are supposed to have a football out until after the dead period is over. I think that is one of the newer summer rules passed the last couple of years.

I know you and I don't have a chance at winning, but we will all enjoy the good company from all the brothers from the past Jacket football teams. Boy they can all tell some good stories.

Jason Wilhelm of University School of Nashville. He coached the Jr. High boys team there and also coached AAU girls who won some type of championship last year. He came highly recommended by Rick Ensell. Good Luck coach, hard to recruit in T.C. This is not Shelbyville or AAU ball.

Heard the weight competition is going to be in late April

I don't know how is he getting much done in Macon Co. when everytime I go to Watertown to watch a basketball game he is there helping them with the concessions.

TC has struggled this year, but maybe its because they are starting two and sometimes three freshmen, usually one sophmore and one senior. The win over watertown last night gave them five wins on the year. This team only won five last year with four senior starters. I believe this team is on the rise. However, Gville and FCS are very talented teams. Gville wins this one going away, and so does FCS over westmoreland. TC and westmoreland could be an entertaining game. The Gville and FCS game will be a good one with these two teams spliting the regular season. Good luck to all district 8 teams, we will need in regional play

The Gridiron clinc in Murfreesboro is a good one. I have been there the last two years and had really enjoyed them both. The dates is March 6 and 7. There are going to be some great speakers at this one so don't miss this one

Trousdale works out after school from about 3:00-5:00 and practice during the season lasts from 3:15-6:00 or so depends on how its goes. We have been there till 8 or so

I don't believe that is has been mentioned, but I may be wrong. S.P has not traveled in the playoffs since 2003. None of the current players on this roster has played in a road playoff game. This has to be an advantage for T.C.

You are exactly right bob. he was a great coach, won multiple championships and also had some teams that struggled. That was exactly my point. Even the greatest of coaches have lean years. This is our coaches second seaon and they have struggled some. Btw the other coaches that have coached womens basketball here have struggled too. Let us all be a little more patient and see how she does here, she is not going to do worse than the previous coaches. Only time will tell. Good luck to the Lady Jackets on a great season. It amazes me that when a team struggles it is automatically the coaching. Our football team went 7-4 last year, I guess it was the coaching too, because Clint resigned and we have a new coach and we are currently 10-0. You right it is all about the coaching. Good riddens to Clint. Whatever!

Being from Trousdale Co. I have been part of the South Pitt and TC game many times. I have the utmost respect for South Pitts ability to produce good football teams year in and year out. Looking at South Pitt is almost looking in a mirror for TC. South Pitt is a class act in my opinion.

Does anybody know if this is the CSS game of the week, there has been some rumors about that being the case
