  1. macon has only one senior and he does'nt start but does come in and play off the bench.Macon will have a really good team next year.
  2. Macon had driver and anderson out against la.This team has got a chance to be good down the stretch but the players and coach have got to want it more than they are showing.Driver is back after injury and should help spark this team.I have to agree with you macon has not played their best yet. Question is are they going to? Im not sure.
  3. im pretty sure this prediction wont float.im going with the 3 that was in the state games last year.l.a. c.c. m.c. as the top 3.
  4. Ditto....McPherson should have been player of the year for 9AA...or atleast co-mvp with GP player...remember last year Macon's Calamity Jane had to share with GP??? And, again, there was no comparison with the players. I think that anyone who watched both the consolation game and the championship game was able to differentiate between who the leading scorer of the district was, and who the real MVP/Player of the year was....McPherson all the way Its round ball, rebounds, assists, and defense... so much more than scoring. GO BIG BLUE!!!
  5. onk-onk,love bacon, hog jaw,ham hoc, cracklins and pickeled pig feet and in case you did'nt know city boy that's where sausage comes from to.
  6. Oh, yeah the enrollment thing, laugh my butt off. What difference does that make if there are 150 kids that go there if you get to pick/recruit 12 of the players out of 5 counties?? And now get to go play little rbs what a joke. That money yall got will buy a lot of things. P- L E A S E even us "hillbillies" were given a little common sense. By the way who got mugged there today and does it really take 30 minutes to drive to the store because of traffic?? Ok, and I do agree with your statement that, its "the best overall player", just like I told you earlier, Mcpherson/ Macon County. Yall have a nice day now, ya hear...
  7. Best private team in the district, ok yeah i agree with that. Why do you not go d1???? oh yeah, the competition there, i understand. And next year, going down to single A, thats a joke...maybe you can win against some of them .But thats topic for another thread. Ok, back to district mvp, if im not mistaken yall dropped one @ Macon, so what happened to your shooter then? Listen, I understand you probably want your kid to get a ride from his dads school, but if McPherson is not the name on the plaque, then its all political like i said earlier. I guarantee that if we checked actual stats on rebounds, assists, steals, not to mention points, he is your winner, hands down! We could even throw a couple more names in from Macon to compete with your guy. !!!GO BIG BLUE!!!!
  8. Lynn can shoot the ball and is probably a good kid. But MVP is the most valuable player...not necessarily the best shooter on the team?? This means shooting, ball handling, assists, steals, rebounds and defense too. Hands down no questions....Trey McPherson/Macon County all the way!!!! I have seen every district game and there is no one who can compare to his talent and any coach that votes differently is just playing politics. And we've got the girls MVP too with Kelsey Gregory...same bio, no questions asked.... GO BIG BLUE!!!
  9. chad watson is a coach.take my word s.c. would never be sorry.
  10. tigers 21 swamp mosquitoes o p.s snoman "butt whipper" I had lots of corn last night please wipe good.
  11. GO TIGERS!! I hope all of the players and coaches are reading this bull about how Sycamore thinks they are going to come into OUR HOUSE...and do what? PLLEEAASSEE. We like to get dirty, we're farm boys. TIGERS, ITS TIME TO GET PUMPED UP AND OPEN A CAN OF WHOOP-A** ON SOMEBODY!! GO BIG BLUE!!
  12. You go nation. I agree. Respect has to be earned. Coach Goolsby has only been here a short time and I would bet that if he needed any one of these boys, even off the field, on the farm, flat tire, etc. they would be there. Same goes for Coach Hudson, because he has earned it. Then ask the boys what they would do if the same situation with those other three. I can tell you...they'd be calling family or walking in the rain. The respect was never there. It was not earned. Go Tigers!!!!!!!!
  13. That's the Shoulders and Dean I remember. Sorry Dawgs, just glad they are wearing red now and won't be wearing blue and white. Good luck to the players in next week's Dawg fight! You are such a coward. You slam people on here, but would you say it to their faces? I coached with Phillip Dean....a TCHS grad....and holder of some rings you never saw. As for Kyle...I know you'd never say that to his face. I coached him two different times...I'll promise you he's forgotten more football than you will ever know. I'm not hiding behind a nick either.Sign me: Coach Jack Painter RBS Bulldogs 1999 Name calling, whatever?? Dean may have a ring but he got that because of the great Clint Satterfield. Do you not think that if Satterfield thought he was an asset to the coaching staff at TC that he would not have done whatever it takes to keep him there. Ask Dean why he left TC? It wasn't good. Kyle knows football? Then hats off to those players and other assistants who have taught him since hes been at RBS. All he knew at Macon was how to criticize and mistreat players. He didn't know how to tell the truth and was worried about down grading the boys. Mr. Painter you was a real winner at Macon High while you coached. It makes sense that you would take up for these two. The boys could have won those two games without coaches.
  14. Who coaches the line? Seems the linemen were blamed for most of last years woes. Could it be that they haven't been taught anything or are they young and inexperienced? What was different friday night compared to how the line played in the 2 wins? Hope they can right the ship. The difference was the caliber of the team. The first two teams were weak opponents. Watertown was strong and Clay will be strong too, but nothing, in comparison to Friendship, Trousdale, Gordonsville, Monterey, and Jackson County. The next W for RBS will be Sunbright, maybe, ever who that is???? Coaches teaching the young and inexperienced?? This thread is not long enough to go into detail about the Blond Boy Wonder...
