  1. macon has only one senior and he does'nt start but does come in and play off the bench.Macon will have a really good team next year.
  2. Macon had driver and anderson out against la.This team has got a chance to be good down the stretch but the players and coach have got to want it more than they are showing.Driver is back after injury and should help spark this team.I have to agree with you macon has not played their best yet. Question is are they going to? Im not sure.
  3. im pretty sure this prediction wont float.im going with the 3 that was in the state games last year.l.a. c.c. m.c. as the top 3.
  4. Ditto....McPherson should have been player of the year for 9AA...or atleast co-mvp with GP player...remember last year Macon's Calamity Jane had to share with GP??? And, again, there was no comparison with the players. I think that anyone who watched both the consolation game and the championship game was able to differentiate between who the leading scorer of the district was, and who the real MVP/Player of the year was....McPherson all the way Its round ball, rebounds, assists, and defense... so much more than scoring. GO BIG BLUE!!!
  5. onk-onk,love bacon, hog jaw,ham hoc, cracklins and pickeled pig feet and in case you did'nt know city boy that's where sausage comes from to.
  6. Oh, yeah the enrollment thing, laugh my butt off. What difference does that make if there are 150 kids that go there if you get to pick/recruit 12 of the players out of 5 counties?? And now get to go play little rbs what a joke. That money yall got will buy a lot of things. P- L E A S E even us "hillbillies" were given a little common sense. By the way who got mugged there today and does it really take 30 minutes to drive to the store because of traffic?? Ok, and I do agree with your statement that, its "the best overall player", just like I told you earlier, Mcpherson/ Macon County. Yall have a nice day now, ya hear...
  7. Best private team in the district, ok yeah i agree with that. Why do you not go d1???? oh yeah, the competition there, i understand. And next year, going down to single A, thats a joke...maybe you can win against some of them .But thats topic for another thread. Ok, back to district mvp, if im not mistaken yall dropped one @ Macon, so what happened to your shooter then? Listen, I understand you probably want your kid to get a ride from his dads school, but if McPherson is not the name on the plaque, then its all political like i said earlier. I guarantee that if we checked actual stats on rebounds, assists, steals, not to mention points, he is your winner, hands down! We could even throw a couple more names in from Macon to compete with your guy. !!!GO BIG BLUE!!!!
  8. Lynn can shoot the ball and is probably a good kid. But MVP is the most valuable player...not necessarily the best shooter on the team?? This means shooting, ball handling, assists, steals, rebounds and defense too. Hands down no questions....Trey McPherson/Macon County all the way!!!! I have seen every district game and there is no one who can compare to his talent and any coach that votes differently is just playing politics. And we've got the girls MVP too with Kelsey Gregory...same bio, no questions asked.... GO BIG BLUE!!!
  9. chad watson is a coach.take my word s.c. would never be sorry.
  10. tigers 21 swamp mosquitoes o p.s snoman "butt whipper" I had lots of corn last night please wipe good.
  11. GO TIGERS!! I hope all of the players and coaches are reading this bull about how Sycamore thinks they are going to come into OUR HOUSE...and do what? PLLEEAASSEE. We like to get dirty, we're farm boys. TIGERS, ITS TIME TO GET PUMPED UP AND OPEN A CAN OF WHOOP-A** ON SOMEBODY!! GO BIG BLUE!!
  12. You go nation. I agree. Respect has to be earned. Coach Goolsby has only been here a short time and I would bet that if he needed any one of these boys, even off the field, on the farm, flat tire, etc. they would be there. Same goes for Coach Hudson, because he has earned it. Then ask the boys what they would do if the same situation with those other three. I can tell you...they'd be calling family or walking in the rain. The respect was never there. It was not earned. Go Tigers!!!!!!!!
  13. That's the Shoulders and Dean I remember. Sorry Dawgs, just glad they are wearing red now and won't be wearing blue and white. Good luck to the players in next week's Dawg fight! You are such a coward. You slam people on here, but would you say it to their faces? I coached with Phillip Dean....a TCHS grad....and holder of some rings you never saw. As for Kyle...I know you'd never say that to his face. I coached him two different times...I'll promise you he's forgotten more football than you will ever know. I'm not hiding behind a nick either.Sign me: Coach Jack Painter RBS Bulldogs 1999 Name calling, whatever?? Dean may have a ring but he got that because of the great Clint Satterfield. Do you not think that if Satterfield thought he was an asset to the coaching staff at TC that he would not have done whatever it takes to keep him there. Ask Dean why he left TC? It wasn't good. Kyle knows football? Then hats off to those players and other assistants who have taught him since hes been at RBS. All he knew at Macon was how to criticize and mistreat players. He didn't know how to tell the truth and was worried about down grading the boys. Mr. Painter you was a real winner at Macon High while you coached. It makes sense that you would take up for these two. The boys could have won those two games without coaches.
  14. Who coaches the line? Seems the linemen were blamed for most of last years woes. Could it be that they haven't been taught anything or are they young and inexperienced? What was different friday night compared to how the line played in the 2 wins? Hope they can right the ship. The difference was the caliber of the team. The first two teams were weak opponents. Watertown was strong and Clay will be strong too, but nothing, in comparison to Friendship, Trousdale, Gordonsville, Monterey, and Jackson County. The next W for RBS will be Sunbright, maybe, ever who that is???? Coaches teaching the young and inexperienced?? This thread is not long enough to go into detail about the Blond Boy Wonder...
  15. That's the Shoulders and Dean I remember. Sorry Dawgs, just glad they are wearing red now and won't be wearing blue and white. Good luck to the players in next week's Dawg fight!
  16. The wheels and good times of highschool out way football, in lafayette.Drive to any of the surounding counties sonic on friday night. It will be almost empty, but can not even get pulled in at lafayette.Kids that played jr high have given up sports for keys, the jr, soph, and freshman class has stayed together so far.Only time will tell after they become drivers. We could without a doubt use alot of the kids that attend highschool, but wont out out the time or effort.Last few years was always said, would not play for cook and his coaches, they are gone and only a couple new faces, from last year.I dont understand. GOOD LUCK TIGERS keep working it will pay off starting over takes a little time. The coaches your talking about may be gone, but alot of players want come out the first year of a new system, untill they see it's on the up and up. Fair in other words. The damage was done. Give it time and after this year they'll see they ant waisting their time. Players tell other kids, that's not playing the coach is fair.
  17. Good job coaches and players at macon county. It was the best preformance, i've seen in the last 4 years. Keep it up and listen to nobody. Good things are headed yalls way. The team fought hard all night and never quit. COACH, you are doing something right and you have got to be HONEST or the players would not have played that hard. KEEP IT UP!
  18. David didn!t have to fight hard - God directed him and with one smooth stone from a sling he killed Goliath. Exactly...David came out on top!! GO TIGERS!! SWAT AND SPRAY!!!!!HIT SOMEBODY!!!!!!!!!
  19. Very well...Goliath was not only a Philistine but he was a "champion" among men... David was a man of "youth", but, he fought hard and came out on top!!!!!!!!! GO TIGERS!!!!!!!
  20. Ole scooter don't have a dog in this fight - but I can tell you that MC will have to have one more effort to win this game - just don't see it. Cooter, what does the Good Book say about "David and Goliath"? Yes, TC may have all of their state championships, but I think our boys have something to prove. They are looking at this year as coming out of the cocoon. This is a new beginning. Yes we may be young, but look out Jackets! These boys are ready to shine in front of their fans, old/ex coaches and most of all to themselves and Coach Goolsby. TIGER PRIDE BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Hey kids...lets quit worrying about who is going to scratch who's *** and remember that tonight is the night the TIGERS ARE GOING TO RUN THOSE MOSQUITOS BACK DOWN THE HILL!!!! GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!HIT SOMEBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. GO MACON!!!!!!!!! GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!! LETS SEND THOSE JACKETS BACK DOWN THE HILL WITH THEIR HEADS BETWEEN THEIR LITTLE BITTY STINGERS!!!! We've worked hard to get to this point Tigers!! It's a NEW DAY in Macon!!! This is what we have all been waiting long and hard for...don't dwell on the ones who did you wrong in the past. The past is just that, it's the past. Today is what we have at hand. Make the most of it Tigers!!!! Just by watching you boys in scrimmages so far, its evident that your attitudes are great, and you are ready to give 110%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. YEP, coach you will be able to get plenty of advice, thanks to the geritol club that has run macon county for years. It;s sickening. When all this bunch is gone and they get rid of their young cronies that suckered them and pulled the wool over their eyes macon will rise out of it's shell.Macon has made some bad moves in the school system over the last 4 years and they will pay for many years to come. This was good advice strong69.
