Well first of all I was talking about offense, but if you wanna talk defense and Van Horn ok. And I am no bball genious , anyone would tell you that, but are you? Arent you a baseball player? Anyways, If what you say is true that Van Horn is the best defender other than Carter, why is it that he guards Vespie? Im not downing Ves but if hes your best defender wouldnt he guard Seth Skogen? I know Seth is a post, but the majority of the time he gets the ball at the top of the key and either drives and shoots jump shots or shoots threes, opposed to posting up. Im not saying Van Horn isnt a key player to Grace, but I think our weekness is contesting threes (from eldridge) and Jeffrey Smiths quick pull up jumpers. So against us I dont think Van Horn is as big of a factor.

actually he was. good call though. he is a good player and all and had some pretty good drives and jump shots, but he isnt as big of factor as Eldridge or maybe even Smith. At the end of the game who had the ball? I know Van Horn was fouled out but even if he was in there who is gonna have the last shot? Eldridge. You talk about ownage...he wasn't in the game for overtime. So how did he have "ownage"?

The game last night was incredible. Both teams played great ball and Grace just found a way to pull it out, and to Eldridge that 3 was clutch man. I think the games will get more exciting as the year goes on, and Im lookin forward to the next one.

I agree with whoever said that Temple doesnt have as much talent. Temple still has a ton of talent, but not as many standout players, just good team players. I also think that Grace doesnt play like a team but like a bunch of individuals. (which doesnt hurt sometimes but could come back to bite them sometime) I also think Temple is better coached, which could make the diff. in these games. If Graces coaches were smart they would have Carter under the basket at all times, never leave. Just rebound ... put it back in. I think they do the high post too much , if he is gonna post he needs to post up down low. But that might have had something to do w/ him not being able to push josh around. Good Luck Friday. Whoever comes ready to play. If Eldridge is hitting 3s left and right and everybody else from Grace is clickin, they will be hard to beat. But if Temple comes ready to play and keys on some things this week in practice ... they could take the win just as well. No Prediction ... but may the best team win.
