I saw FCS play last year and they were really big. Who do they have that returned or did they lose alot?

Sounds like we'll find out what RBS has left in the tank this week. However, Grace could still get hot and RBS ride him to the substate like last year. If I remember correctly RBS didn't have a bench last year.

Clay, Jackson, and RBS all have star players who can carry their teams through the region. Who does FCS have?

How did clarkrange win? I thought they were awful. Was this a fluke?

So how do things play out now that Jackson County isn't invincible?

All I keep hearing is how Jackson County won't/can't lose to anyone up there. Should us in Chattanooga not assume they will be hosting substate?

CSAS beat Clay by 17 in a HOF game (their 2nd of the day) and they are much better now. You really think CSAS would only win by 10? What about Friendship?

Will this game be crowded?

CSAS is probably the only school in Chattanooga with a legitimate shot at a state title.

CSAS did lose two seniors...but they never played. So for all practical purposes they have everyone back. They lost to Clarksville by 9 an they are definately more than 9 points better this year. I don't think Clarksville has imroved that much. In my opinion they are not as good as last year. Wouldn't be surprised if they got upset in sub-state.

Whitwell!? Really. The game shouldn't have come down to that. I thought Signal Mtn was supposed to be the favorite to play CSAS in the region finals. Wow is all I have to say.

Temple is terrible. Probably Grace or Signal Mtn.

So do most teams play zone then? It sounds like a team needs a strong athletic player to try to contain him. I'm interested to see how this one turns out after the way Clay put it to RBS. I saw Clay play CSAS earlier in a HoF game. I know both teams have improved. Who do you think makes it to the Sub state from up there MidTN?

How big is the kid from Jackson County?

Even though your Perry county fighting Kirk Haston's aren't in the coacht top 20... I would argue that it is more accurate than the AP poll. It at least takes into some consideration who each team played even though it doesnt take into account victories over other classifications, etc.

My prediction is whoever comes to CSAS will lose and whoever goes up there from 3-A will lose.

Speaking of RBS, Is their game at Clay still on for Friday?

Been to them all within the last 2 years. Not close. MTSU is probably set up best for this type of event. Chattanooga and Murfreesboro definately have more to do, places to stay, and eat.

Out of those three arenas, Cookeville is definately the most outdated.

CSAS is 12-3 right now. They have battled the injury bug in losses to Hixson in ot and at East literature who i think is ranked 6th in AA. Their only loss at full strength was Tyner in ot in the Best of Preps Tournament. They beat McCallie who probably has one of, if not the most talented rosters in the state. They have only played 3 single A teams and handled all of those easily.

Malik Dodds had a nasty And 1 dunk tonight. I don't know if he will do that Saturday. I heard East Lit has some big boys.

Heard Grace looked pretty good at East Ridge play day. This is hard to believe. Grace will get it together and still be in the region finals.
