Meigs defense wins it 28-10, Sycamore may move the ball early but sooner or later they'll get stuck in a rut. The thing about Meigs defense is it only takes one play (a sack, tackle in the backfield, turnover) and the Sycamore offense's night will be pretty much over.

Didnt that weak region have a little bit of success last year in the playoffs against your region?

Hard to slow a power running game in the mud, especially with a good back like Boyd has. This is probably the worst Tyner team in....a LONG time and they still have a winning record and are hosting a playoff game. Says a lot about how good they are.

I'm tellin ya, just enjoy the fish sandwich, it'l be a long night. Tyner and Bledsoe are two completely different teams. No offense to Bledsoe but its really not fair to compare them. 3 players with 15 TFL apiece? York will be lucky to get a first down. I've changed my mind, Tyner by however high coach Turner wants.

Probably the easiest is to take I-40 to Kingston and take Hwy 58 south to Decatur. Turn right off the ramp and its a straight shot to town, bout 30-45 minutes from the ramp. The other way is to get off I-40 on the Crossville exit and take 127 all the way to Spring City. Turn onto to Hwy 68, go over the dam and then turn right onto Hwy 58. Either way is bout the same, second way may be a few minutes quicker. Plus you dont have to fool with I-40 more than you have to.

Gotta live up to a lot. Us former 3-2a members got our start on the fish sandwiches at Tyner. Those sandwich makers better bring their a game.

Yeah, Meigs Co tried that for ten years and won twice, once when Tyner was in 3a (the year Meigs went to the Clinic Bowl) and in 2000. Country boys mashin Tyner in the mouth doesnt work as well as you'd think, they mash back while they run circles around you. Plus have you seen Tyners coach? He's as country as they come. You cant "out country" Tyner with him on the sidelines. York has a chance, and if your a bettin man you'd take thier odds for the payoff, but a smart fan from York would just enjoy the trip, the band, and the fish sammiches. (Hint: The sandwich is a guarenteed win, Tyner is pretty much the opposite.)

....anyway, what type of offense does Sycamore run? How good is thier defense? I dont know much about them.

Tyners got too much experience in the playoffs not to mention I'm sure Coach Turner isnt exactly happy about losing Friday, giving them their first region loss since 2000. Im sorry but I'd hate to be York Friday. Tyner by at least 21.

To make the playoffs after losin 22 seniors is sayin somethin so ND is no disappointment. Also, how does WH not have an advantage with only 4 underclassman starters? You may have typed that wrong I dunno. I mean its not like 4-3a blasted all the 3-3a teams last year. Your playin it up like the top 4 teams from the SOCON are playin the top 4 from the SEC. None of these 8 teams was just mailed an invitation to the playoffs, they had a ten week season to get where they are now. I really hope the Nashville teams approach this weeks games like you guys have. They're in for a big surprise if they're expectin to just show up and win.

Station Camp plays the winner of Sycamore @ Meigs County. If Meigs wins, does Station Camp travel to Meigs or vice versa? Just curious, didnt know if the higher seed hosted of if they had a travel rule like for rounds 3 and 4.

Not much of a difference but Howard will be playin on an extra days rest since they played Thursday.

Nashville has a lot of good players, as does Chatt. Kinda got excited there, my bad. If Howard plays to their potential then they'll win. They're aguably the most talented team in the region. They're athletic and very physical, not to mention how fast their defense is (very comparable to Pearl-Cohn). Just depends on which team shows up. Like I said, More than likely Station Camp will be playin in week two.

Theres not a Rico Council in Nash-Vegas either. Close one, gotta give the edge to the home team against a Howard team that hasnt played in week 11 for a while.

Sequoyah did the exact same thing last year, cheap shot and try and pick fights, and their coach actually defended it last year as we were shakin hands. You really must know your not any good when you dont even try to play, the game was over before it started. Sequoyah wasnt playin football, they were playin "try and tear their ACL's" or "try to get em in a fight so they cant play next week like us".

3-3A is a lil full, they're already a 9 team region. If Ston Memorial WAS put in region 3, would they split the region into a north and south or somethin? 10 teams is a few too many if you ask me.

Shotgun offense is sceptical in the rain but ND has run it so long that it probably wont really even them.

Notre Dame @ Polk

Meigs plays in a very competitive region. None of the teams are state powers but the top teams are all pretty even. If you think any of these teams are overrated then sleep on em in the playoffs and look ahead to the next week. Meigs played flat and Sweetwater is a good team. Refs had a small role in it but they always do in one way or another. Good thing for Meigs they got their bad game out of the way befor the playoffs and in a non region game.

If ND's #38 Eberle has more than 150 total yards, ND wins. If Polk is the first team to contain him, they win. In the famous words of Boobie Miles uncle: ".....AND HE CAN PASS!!!!!!"
