  1. I sent a Sonny Moore ratings problem to webmaster@sonnymoorepowerratings.com at 5:14 PM yesterday and I received a reply at 9:55 PM informing me that the problem had been corrected and the ratings had been reposted.
  2. Sonny Moore's Top 10 teams (including their computer power ratings) for classes 2A and 1A are provided below. CLASS 2A 01 TROUSDALE COUNTY 116.61 02 PEABODY 113.26 03 MEIGS COUNTY 112.26 04 TYNER 106.30 05 HAMPTON 102.85 06 WATERTOWN 102.79 07 FORREST 100.32 08 FAIRLEY 98.09 09 ONEIDA 96.72 10 LEWIS COUNTY 95.94 CLASS 1A 01 SOUTH PITTSBURG 120.66 02 HUNTINGDON 110.13 03 LAKE COUNTY 107.37 04 GREENBACK 106.05 05 FREEDOM PREP 99.34 06 MEMPHIS MIDDLE COLLEGE 97.84 07 FAYETTEVILLE 97.34 08 MONTEREY 95.57 09 COLUMBIA ACADEMY 92.23 10 MOORE COUNTY 91.57 Do you agree or disagree with Sonny? How would you change his rankings? I will start out by saying that although I am a Trousdale County Yellow Jacket through and through, I think at this time of the season that Peabody is on a level by itself, and deserves to be ranked #1. However, I hope that during the playoffs that TC to continues to improve and wins another gold ball.
  3. I think we will miss him most when we play a strong team in the playoffs, and I think we might have had 1-2 more touchdowns tonight if he had played.
  4. There is no doubt that he will be missed. He has been performing at a very high level, gaining lots of yards and scoring touchdowns and just a sophomore? I hope he makes a complete recovery and plays again (if that is what he wants to do). However, even though I might get some disagreement in Trousdale County, football is not the most important thing in life. I will be praying for him.
  5. Wrong: No, I do not think CoachT is for chest thumpers and elitist attitudes. Wrong: No, I am not Clint, but I am proud to say that I played for his Daddy. When you are from Trousdale County and you are as old as I am, you have the opportunity to obtain a vast amount of knowledge about TC football without being Dr. Clint Satterfield.
  6. Thanks, Mr OrangePants. I didn't know about that feature. I enjoy coachT, and I am ok with about 95% of the posts. I like the football talk (offense and defense formations, size, speed, predictions, etc.), and I like a lot of the joking and fun between the posters. South Pittsburgh has a lot of guys (Roy Dillard, SouthTowner, Old Pirate, etc.) who joke and have a lot of fun on coachT. I enjoy reading their posts (even though I have no connection to South Pittsburgh), because they just appear to be having a good time without being hateful. Thanks again for letting me know about the ignore feature. I will use it sparingly.
  7. You have a good game plan; when you get called out for your immature behavior, it is just for fun and you are not really serious. I have seen you use this game plan before. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think the original intent of coachT was to provide a forum for losers to harass the fans of a team that consistently beats their team. Several years ago, when we played Smith County, there were accusations made about TC and its coach. TC was accused of stealing SC's playbook, and supposedly someone was signaling from the sideline what play SC was going to run. Additionally, it was said that the TC coach was not nice to an SC player when he ran and/or was knocked out of bounds on the TC sideline. I don't know how much (if any of this) is true, and I doubt that you know either. Whatever happened, it happened a long time ago, and whether true or not, it destroyed a longtime rivalry, and it is time to move on. Macon County and Smith County used to be TC's biggest games, and I regret that we cannot continue the TC/SC rivalry game that was once so important. However, I guess it is more important for SC to continue using whatever happened many years ago as an excuse not to play a smaller school that would beat them the majority of the time than to continue the rivalry. I am amazed that the accusations about a game that occurred so many years ago are still important to a Westmoreland zealot who does not have a dog in the hunt. Congratulations on your win over previously undefeated Clay County. Have a nice day!!!!
  8. Does it make you feel better to intimidate and harass TC people? Does your harassment on coachT reduce the pain of losing to TC on the field? Grow up!
  9. Are you saying TC would have lost to MC last year if it hadn't rained?
  10. It is being broadcast on funradiotn.com and you can watch it on internet at https://dtc3.tv/.
  11. For someone who is implying that TC people are dumb country hicks who cannot spell past the third grade level, perhaps you should look at yourself first. In your post above, you used "their" when you should have used "they're" or "they are" and you used "pass" when you should have used "past". Were you educated in Watertown? FYI - Trousdale County excels on the football field and in the classroom. Our school system is getting accolades from the state for its achievements (see the August 15, 2019 headlines of The Hartsville Vidette, Schools hit 'academic grand slam'). In addition to comparing our football teams, maybe we should compare our schools' ACT scores. Have a nice day!!!
  12. Are you implying that Trousdale County people may have a good high school football heritage, but other than that they are just dumb hicks? Is that what you are trying to say with your "teeth" comment?
  13. I didn't hear any references to Cameron Rankins playing fullback during the scrimmage broadcast last night. Did he play any offense during the scrimmage against Station Camp last night?
  14. I suggest you talk to Tommy Rush and John Oliver to get more TCHS football information. Tommy played when Jim B was assistant coach before I did. John Oliver/Trousdale County Historical Society has lots of yearbooks that contain coaches and team records information.
  15. Coach Edgar Settlers was head coach and Jim B was his assistant coach my freshman and sophomore years (60, 5-5 record and 61, 5-4-1 record). I don’t know how many years Settlers was head coach before that. Settlers was terminated as head coach in 62 and that is when Jim B took over. I had a typo in my post - Should have said 32 games WITHOUT a loss from 63 to 65. As for Clint’s record, our information is very close. When I wrote the song, “When a Team Comes to the Creekbank”, I included several Yellow Jacket statistics in the song. Jerry Richmond, who gave me several stats said Clint won 239 games in 24 seasons and that is what I put in the song.
  16. Jim B was assistant coach until 1962 when he became the head coach. His first season record was 9-2, in 1963, his team went 11-0, In 1964, his record was 9-0-2, In 1965 his team went undefeated in the regular season (10-0) and lost to Glencliff in the Tobacco Bowl 14-6 to end the season with a 10-1 record. From 63 to 65 his teams went 32 games with a loss (2 ties). Too bad we didn't have classifications and championships during his first several years as head coach. We only had bowl games back then.
  17. This is what one of the TC coaches wrote and posted after the game. November 29 at 10:43 PM Want to know what I'll remember from today? Since there is a mess who know everything and talk, here is what's real.... I'll remember a guy with a jacked up right elbow doing whatever he could until he couldn't. I'll remember a guy whose been a workhorse his entire career with a separated right shoulder and in tremendous pain keep swapping eye contact with me saying "No pain- No pain". Me having to physically get his shoulder pads on at halftime and he telling me he won't come out and playing till he physically couldn't lift his arm to throw. I'll remember a gutsy offensive lineman playing with a grade three ankle sprain, rehabbing all week without practicing until the walk through, just so he could help his team. I'll remember his ankle being cast-tapped and he never missing a snap. I'll remember that guy limping back to locker room and again ending his day on crutches to a volleyball ankle. I'll remember a defensive back getting hurt on the goal line and trying to gut it on the sideline to see if he could come back. Ill remember his knee jerking reaction signaling the end of his day. I'll remember an offense limited to two formations because of the piling injuries but not a single player or coach arguing or making excuses or panicking. Just playing the next play. I'll remember my 7-year old with me on the sidelines crying because of two things: We lost and his guy (#8) was not going to play anymore. I'll forever remember that 7-year old wanting to go over to 8's locker and wrap his arms around him like a big brother and whaling into that same separated shoulder, and that #8 hugging him back and patting him on the back. I'll remember this little itty-bitty baby Bull, whom wasn't supposed to start, you know, be the back up, go over 1,500 yards in a single season and for the 9th time go over 100 I'll remember Snacks playing the best game of defense of his life and I'll remember The Donkey just quietly kept being great and I'll remember how classy 52 just goes about his business. I'll remember a guy who needed football in June ,after his 90 days of heck, more than football needed him but by the end of October, football counted on him and today he spoke before the kickoff. Only player to do so and it was about brothers and love. I'll remember that from today. See, people don't see the real things going on in and during games. Why certain decisions are made or calls or who runs what play, but these same people are those who have all the answers. They are know-it-alls. The play-calling analysts and defensive adjusters and the people who think they know what to do. And that's ok because if they knew the inside of a team or a situation or the real road traveled then they would steal my memories, like those mentioned above, and those memories are what have real value, not some piece of wood and colored brass. I'll remember today! What was the score again?
  18. I have heard that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
  19. Thanks Tide21. I am trying to decide whether to make the trip (about 150 miles) to see the Jackets play for the championship. However, I guess Peabody fans have to travel farther than I do to see this game. If you are going, i hope you have a safe trip.
  20. Does anyone know if thIs game will be streamed on internet?
  21. Based upon your posts and some of your buddies’ posts last week against TC, just think about the negative posts Meigs fans would have faced if Watertown had won. I don’t think their CoachT experience would have been any better this week. I also think part of the problem is that Meigs has not been playing teams whose fans are likely to get on CoachT and talk about how they are going to whip or beat up on Meigs. If they know Meigs is going to beat them by 30 or 40 points why would they tout their team on CoachT. This may be the first time or one of a few times Meigs fans have gotten this much resistance. i think most of the posts are in good fun. However, TC fans are probably accustomed to negative posts from opposing teams, because we play teams that are capable of beating us, and they don’t roll over and play dead on CoachT.
  22. Ok. Maybe we have a chance to win, but I was just getting depressed reading about your secret weapon and how I am going to be served crow after the game. Unfortunately, I can't eat crow because I am a vegetarian. Is there a vegetable I can eat instead of crow as punishment if TC loses?
  23. I will also get to watch two 2017 TC all-state players who are still Yellow Jackets.
