I did look at two houses for sell in cleveland friday, and thats before seeing the young men from cleveland wrestle. I still have time to move them once or twice more.

Cleveland has a great team, but their 106 or 113 is one tuff wrestler, very impressed with that one. Impressed with the whole program. I'm not sure if Lake Forest is Bradley feeder and Occoee is Walker Valley feeder but I do know Cleveland Middle is producing some good young talent for Coach Eslinger. Good Job to Loftis as well, we have practiced for two weeks, and had three kids not make weight and another starter out injured. It caused us to bump kids or forfiet weights altogether but I don't think it would have changed the outcome of Cleveland/Loftis match but we would be able to match up better in some weights and now we would know where to bump some kids or not because Cleveland had some kids we were just not gonna beat. Kudos Cleveland!

#1 Ranking in the country for wrestling, big contract from UFC waiting to be signed. Second match was better (21-8) 3 takedowns and he cut us twice. Headbutted 40 times to the chest, ears, and face region, JT had 4 cc's of blood drained off one ear. All he got was a warning(twice)? Danny gets thrown out for a shove. In JT's match for third the kid punched him in the back of the head going out of bounds, we punched him in the side of the head, nobody got DQ'ed though. Selective punishment all the way around. JT's better for the time on the mat with him, he will not wrestle anyone any tougher or meaner the next 2 1/2 years. He should know what it means to be physical now.

I'm not sure about making a call for a vote on Tennessee man law because biting your opponent aint very manly but we could think about making a mandate that the t-shirt vendors are required to put this on all wrestling t-shirts sold in the state of Tennessee. maj, great post!

Noticed at McCallie, and at alot of tournaments, all the action is going to the edge. Some wrestlers are being pushed to the edge and then hitting a throw, or pushing to the edge and trying to hit the takedown with toes just inside the circle. bcb what did it look like in the PF tournament. Is this what most kids are being taught or I'm i just seeing it wrong?

Lou, If this is the young man that wrestled Danny Tolbert in the semi's at Ooltewah(Mustain). I saw big things from this one down the road. I talked to Danny after the match, he said the kid was very strong, plus I noted the quickness he displayed, Danny out wrestled him but you could see the potential was there for greatness from him. It takes an almost perfect match to beat Mr. Young so much respect to Tate Mustain.

By the way, since you decided to tell me your perception on the previous post, what is the difference in the way you posted and i. You seem a little hostile are you looking for an argument. I'm not sure if you've been lost in the woods or asleep Rip Van Winkel but it doesn't get any more traditional or powerful than the Trojans of Soddy Daisy. So take the much deserved win (dual and tournament) and drive safely back to memphis. CBHS has some good wrestlers, very good in fact but S.D. will be back up to speed soon. Missing two or three starters would hurt most programs. Rabbit Turner has some good kids coming through the youth program, they will get cambell lewis next year as a freshman and believe me he will make some noise, turbo smith the next year. plus they have good talent from soddy middle from last year. Programs are built on the kids groups, feeders, Loftis middle school has some deep talent but it's young. Loftis has not sent a wrestler of note to S.D since the current group of juniors at the highschool. Loftis is loaded with talent this year, most are 8th graders. Take a gander at the OLPH Club Team(34 Loftis) So maybe in the next couple of years Soddy will be up to your standards. After they get their lineup set they will still be a force by the end of the year. You can take that back to memphis too. Not being critical to you or CBHS, very impressed with your kids. Soddy has represented our area very well, and you could wake a sleeping Giant if you kickem when their down, I just consider them going thru growing pains. They just graduated the most talented team I've ever seen.
