  1. I agree with owls, yes WC has alot of Confidence, but just because we haven't played cookeville or Tullahoma YET(which we will as a matter of fact the cavs are our last game, the spot that is usually reserved for CC) doesnt mean our guys aren't prepared to face you. By the way Our Freshmen are going to be really tough in the future, they have played Blackman, are going to play Riverdale and Soddy. WC is working extremely hard and In my opinion has the heart to beat whatever comes in front of them and that includes Coffee County. I do give Coffee major props for hanging in there with Oakland and the win against Cookeville, you guys do play some tough teams I give you that, as a matter of fact I was at the Brentwood game a year or two back and you guys didn't do too bad. I hope all the players and fans will keep their emotions in check, after all, we the fans, and players are representing our communities/counties. Hope to see a great game!
  2. guys it's great to see no hard feelings between White/Warren after last night. By the way things are looking, I can't say the same about next week with Coffee. I have a feeling this is beginning to turn into a bitter rivalry, I hope nobodies emotions gets out of line especially the fans. White Co. Keep going, don't quit, you'll get there, we've been there done that. Best of luck next week Warriors!
  3. man that is unfortunate for WC Wrestling, I believe he would have had a good shot at making state his freshman year. Hopefully he will learn from this though.
  4. Indeed Rush and Bobby have improved so much. Bobby has had a great season. I'm so glad he made it back from his injury. I believe this will be the year he and Rush go to state in my opinion. Good luck this weekend Coach Matheny, I'm behind ya'll all the way.
  5. hey past30 with all due respect, don't count out Warren County against Soddy. While it is a very long shot, Warren County will not go down without a fight, I'm very proud of the guys and how far they have come this season.
  6. Warren County won tonight 42-34. Hard fought victory by the Pioneers! Matt Martin, who is our Freshman at 125 was down 10-1 but would get the Pin and along with Ben Matheney who is a Freshman at 135 would seal the deal for the Pioneers. Great effort by Antioch.
  7. does anyone know where the Region V Duals will be by chance? thanks in advance
  8. Warren County defeated Oakland tonight in a really close matchup. It came to a 37-37 tie and WC won by Criteria.
  9. All of this complaining is for nothing and you know it. Warren County never gives up. Look at the Football team for example, they managed to turn a 4 year losing streak into back to back playoff seasons. Yes, Granted we got ousted by Wilson Central and Riverdale respectively, the boys have come a long way and I believe in time the Girls will show much improvement as well. I hate to see all this negativity.. just hurts the girls morale and makes them even more likely to suffer on the court.
  10. After watching the game last night It was obvious to me that something isn't working. We went from having a Quarterback that practically carried us to the Playoffs to having a Quarterback that's inexperienced.Heisman Blaze isn't the only senior with potential that's not given a chance, I know a few others that deserve a shot.
  11. Tomorrow night Warren County is wrestling Tullahoma, Forrest, and I believe BGA. Looking forward to seeing WC vs Tullahoma. Hope to see good matches from all involved
  12. Yeah I'm from Warren and our 189, Mark, has been pretty sick all week, Hopefully he'll be returning to action Tuesday night for our matches with Tullahoma and Forrest.

  14. Merry Christmas from Warren County and Looking forward to another great year of sports in '06
  15. I think Warren Co and Coffee County will be a rivalry to watch. I was at the game this season in which WC lost by 3 and the intensity of both sides was huge.
  16. I would have loved to have seen this game. Personally I don't know who I'd root for seeing as I have friends at Both schools and I'm in the middle of the two at Warren County lol but the way everyone's talking it was good basketball.
  17. Warren County's 171 went to state last year as a 160 if I recall correctly, He's currently undefeated and I think he has a shot at making a repeat trip to Chattanooga.
