Why was there no MVP award for this Region ? I was interested to see who would get this award.

M Wv does not match up well at all with N.S. Should be interesting to see how WV stops the inside game of N.S. Size(Delk & Cliff), Speed(Ross & Campbell) Athleticism should favor Jax N.S. but thats why you play the games. Westview's advantage is the 3pt shot, If they can get them off. Northside by 15 65-50. Nice warmup for the Boro'

Once again Defense, Defense, Defense & the fact that Coach Lowery outsmarted Dburg into thinking they were going to play them man 2 man. The zone defense caused Holloway a lot of problems, coupled with the fact that their shooting was not on. I agree that the refs did let a lot of fouls go uncalled but they definately were equally not called. Congrats to Holloway & a great career & good luck as a Lady Rebel.

VOREB, How do you think Dburg matches up with N.S. player for player? If Delk & Cliff score 35-40pts N.S. wins. If Yancy & Holloway score 35-40, Dburg wins. Ross for N.S. is truly the difference in this game, I don't think they have anyone to matchup with her. JaxN.S. 67-60.

Jax N.S. vs Dburg will possibly be the best game of the Region7AA tourney. I pick N.S. I think Delk's supporting cast is stronger than that of Holloway. plus I don't think Holloway can run with N.S. #15 & #53 will be the true keys to the game for Northside. 67-60 Jax N.S.

Is there anyone that plays the kind of "D" that Jax N.S. does ? They're only giving up about 39-40pts/gm. Looks like another run for the Boro!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jax Northside's Senior class enjoy a 101-9 record. Not a bad record. Good job Coach Lowery !

Jax Northside has to be the favorite to win AA. State Runner-Up; returning 3 of the best & most unselfish players in the state. (Cliff - Delk - Ross )(All 3 score in bunches) They play better defense than anyone in the state. To beat them 2 things better happen. (1) Off-night shooting (2) Make someone other than the big 3 beat you.

[What's the deal with a coach recruiting on the net. So how's your team this year ? Who's some of your most popular player(s) ? Is that where Penn from Jax Northside is ?

How about #15 Cliff @ Jax Northside? She makes that team click. She was outstanding last year @ the Boro. She'll make someone a good catch.

Both teams looked game ready, but Northside had too many offensive weapons. N.S. won by about 11pts or so. Westview will be ready come tourney time!

Just the fact that Westview lost to Haywood is a dink in their armour as far as I'm concerned. Jax NS has a defensive game that will almost win the game for them. Last night was proof of that. No knock on Haywood but NS has too many offensive weapons to even worry about scoring. When you try to stop the guards (Delk is killing you ) When you try to stop Delk (Cliff is killing you ) & When you try to stop Cliff ( Beard, Ivey & Ross are bustin you up) Good Luck 13AA Go 14AA Milan, Gibson Co & Westview, don't count on Jax NS looking like last night when you're on the court with them.

This will be the little State Tourney: With Jax NS, Westview, Haywood, Gibson Co. Obion Co. & Milan !!!! Any of these teams could win it all. The two coming out will be Jax NS & Westview. Can't wait till it begins!!!!!!!!!!!

This season Ive had the chance to watch about 9 of the supposed upper crust teams from West Tennessee & Memphis. I've yet to see one play constant defense like Jackson Northside's Lady Indians. Coach Lowery should be commended for his coaching, except he didn't seem to use his timeouts, letting his starters begin to lag a bit. The tall (I think #15)girl was excellent on defense at the top. It really caused problems for the point guards. In my opinion they will win AA unless the completely fall apart!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey ! Coach use those timeouts!!!
