Unaka was lucky we couldn't convert in the redzone. It was more like Cosby almost beat theirself. As OLDeagle said(haha) we had no trouble marching on Unaka. Oh yeah, that dropped screen pass was a DEFLECTED screen pass ( i'm pretty sure lol) and run back 75 yards. I've always enjoyed playing against coach Ensor on the basketball court so maybe this years game will be enjoyable. Nobody's talkin trash on here so let's all play nice.lol. oh yeah, I wouldn't be suprised if Ensor has ya'll in some sort of a half-court trap your first game.

Hampton's secondary will be good, but you are on drugs if you compare them to the best in the state! I have no idea why "pacman" was put on the All-state team as a db and preseason all state this year as a db. It is a disgrace he's not a preseason allstate running back! Any way, if that's why you think they have such a great secondary, think again, cuz they had to put "pacman" somewere! Otherwise, heck would break lose!

Ask adam if he has nightmare's about #11 Matthew McGaha last year in that hurricane up at Hampton. We only lost 22 to 6 and Hampton scored with like a minute left to seal the deal. I swear I went back and watched the film and he had 22 individual tackels! Almost all of them on "pac man". I bet he remembers, a couple of those licks left him hesitant to get up. Ask anyone who was at that game, the boy was a freak.

Hampton has to be the favorite coming in. State semi's and returning good players and an all state rb. But Cosby is almost 40 deep and returns ALOT of good players. Easily the best secondary in the region and can chuck the nugget like you've never seen. We have the best new linebacker coach ever. Our lb's were allready headbangers but now they're freaks. Watch out! Cloudland always has a physical team and it's hard to win in that sand-pit known as "orr" field.They try to run it down everyone's throat but lack the talent to do that this year and they can't throw the ball and win. Unaka is similar to Cloudland, physical but lacks talent to compete in region 1. Jellico and Grace will bring up the rear, therefore: 1. Hampton 2. Cosby 3. Cloudland 4. I hope you guys in Cloudland have that little parade this year when the Eagles come up on Roan Mt. I can't think of anything sweeter than spoiling that for ya'll. i agree, weightlifting is real important and Cosby has around thirty hitting it hard 3 to 4 days a week. But, I PROMISE, you can lift till the cows come home, and you won't touch me in the open field. sry Speed is as important as strength and the King's bunch lacks that alot. Townsend has got a little speed but that's about from up there to. Put 11 Mr. Universe's out there and you'll see #25 dancing to the endzone. ( Just telling the truth, sry!) Come this fall you won't have to say " oh yeah, I forgot, you're from Cosby, you'll know!!!

It was the best highschool baseball game i've ever been a part of. We had some leaders step up and some magnificent pitching. Watch out CCHS when the ''MULE'' comes for you!!!

Seen the kid play for the first time this past week. Didn't impress me like I thought he would. You can tell though what kind of player he is though. He has amazing range from deep and runs the point well. He can definately play at the next level. The one who really impressed me was M J Brown. He's a Balla and can stroke it. I think he is just a Jr. and if he is watch out next year!

Wartburg played hard as they always do and out crashed the boards on the offensive end. If you're not ready for that pattented ''Wartburg Pressure'' it will be a long night. Hats off to the Wartburg student section.That was the best Single A student section i've ever seen. The ''Cosby Nation'' was crazy as usuall and will be nuts Monday. I know we only won by thirty, we stink! Come on, should we have won by fifty? We still didn't play very good and didn't rebound but it was still good enough to beat O.S. Come thursday then say something if you don't like what we do. We have beat rockwood 3 times and i think we'll play them again. Good luck to everyone though.

The real reason Cosby went zone? gee, lets see. We held Rockwood in the dirty' thirtys' TWICE this year playing that packed in 2-3 zone. It was effective both times so why change it? Gilmore got hot so we had to reconsider our defense. rockwood has gotten 2 times better since they came to cosby. Their only losses have came to the hands of some good teams. we could very easily see them again. good luck to them.

I feel good about this game. I think Rockwood is a good team but i still think we're better. We just have to contest their shots and we'll be alright. We also have to rebound and we should be the d3 champs!
