I believe she is a 10th grader. She plays the point and guard, and plays them well. She can handle the ball and take it to the hoop as well as anyone.

I agree that Tucker is the MVP. To whoever talked smack about Miss Basketball...I bet you won't say that much when she is nominated. EVERYONE I talk to agrees...it's beyond comprehension how Franks could get MVP over her. I can't speak for everyone in PC, but there is a crew that is praying for her speedy recovery. She's one of the BEST I've seen and like everyone else on this board and in this area, I've seen LOTS of great players. Get well soon...that was a frightening fall.

Also from what I understand, a person in West Tennessee has started a movement called "HOOPS and HOPES." I believe they are simply asking as many teams as possible to send "basketball stuff" to Kari...signed balls, posters, etc...get creative. The concept is that basketball is a team effort...as is fighting cancer. Kari was playing at the middle school level when she began to have knee pain and had to be "threatened" by her coach, "Either go to the doc or you're not playing." She's a determined girl. But, prayer is most needed...she is indeed very ill.

Show them that Miss Basketball's come out of great teams playing team ball. This is going to be the best $5 I've spent in a while. Both teams deserve respect...and neither has gotten it all year (PC has not been ranked all year and Summertown was not ranked until January). WE BELIEVE!

It will be a classic game. Summertown has been a thorn in PC's side...not just this year, but the last couple, particularly at tourny time. PC's playing with heart, but Summertown always comes prepared...and they are more rested. With all that said, WE BELIEVE! Play hard PC! It will be very difficult to knock them off a 4th time!

What a game! PC is playing inspired basketball. Kari May was unable to make it to the game...she got sick on the way I heard. It will be very difficult for Summertown to have 4 wins against PC, but they will bring it. But, we will to! Wear your black and purple PC fans...WE BELIEVE!

Way to go Cornersville. I hate that for the Lady Cats...I guess they shouldn't have "thrown" that game against PC! I love this time of year! Now if Sante Fe could pull one off....

What a great game! Best I've seen all year. Too bad some of the fans have to yell at the players. I mean, yell at the refs or coaches, but it crosses a line when I see 30+ year-olds being nasty to teenagers who are just playing hard. They would probably kill to have the very same player on their team...just wearing to wrong colors. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Keep up to good work girls, and don't listen to the crowd.
