Its amazing the hillarity of Soddy fans or players or coaches or whomever posted this. This school has the worst fans of any sport I have ever seen. When I say worst I mean the least sportsmanlike of any group of people. They cheered when a Mount Juliet Player got knocked out cold at the plate. And they post how awesome they are on threads that have nothing to do with them. WTG Soddy... be proud.

Mason from MJ had at the least 16 homers this year as a Junior. She was also 2nd or 3rd on her volleyball team in kills. Good kid.

I came on too strong in what I said. I didnt mean that at you. I had a great coach in college who told me to let my game do my talking and to never let myself make excuses about ANYTHING. Just play your game and let it do your talking. Tennis is a great sport but too many kids take it way too seriously and end up making excuses like that. Tennis is a sport that lends itself to the wealthy and that makes us targets. Dont be a target like that. Win between the lines kid and everything will take care of itself. Nuff said.

I have played tennis all my life and I also follow lots of other high school sports. By far, no question, from what I have seen on Coach T the tennis threads are the most excuse laden, not my fault, spoiled rotten sounding bunch of crap I have ever heard. Win between the lines otherwise be still. So far no one on here or many other threads can say much to Siegel because they back their talk. I am not a huge Siegel fan and not a Siegel hater, they win therefore they can talk smack. I hate spoiled kids who play tennis and give other tennis players a bad name. For any kid or anyone for that matter to say that they lost because they were bored or lacked interest or had to sit around too long because of weather is silly and makes other tennis players look as bad as you. Can you imagine any other sport making a lame excuse like that??? Get real.

i just thought it was rude to question if a girl was hurt when she was clearly knocked out at the plate I dont think that the MJ fans are as rude or maybe if they were they were reacting to our girl getting hit (not at all thinking or implying it was intentional). I got there right when our girl got hit and heard people saying "she aint hurt" and "Get up". That was uncalled for by any group of fans be it SD or MJ fans.

Maybe and this is just suggestion but MAYBE Soddy Daisy could board and kennel their fans and parents. Its too bad that such a good team has such bad sports as fans. Congrats to a good team and a good bunch of athletes. Wish that your coach and fans could reflect that high level of competition. No team should ever question an injury at the plate like Soddy fans did. That was beyond tacky. Congrats on a good championship girls, you deserve it.

Question? How can we ever really know the best high school player in the state? Doesnt the TSSAA keep everyone in their respective brackets as in A- AA and AAA So the best A player could be better than the best AAA player and no one would know. Someone help me with this quandry.

you guys from siegel howd you manage to get so good? nations supp this is mainly for you ... how does a decent size school in the boro become a tennis stronghold? you dont have great feeder programs as far as I know AT least not like hendersonville and beech dont get me wrong i am not implying any disrespect I really wanna know what it is.... good coaching? just a couple of up years ? what is it?

Beech won easily MJ doubles have lost three straight. Beech-Hendersonville-Wilson Central pretty sure its hendersonville at #1 but not positive

Check with Tyler on that one because I was pretty sure that Jess and Anish won that match. On the subject of Wilson County Tennis, have you seen Lebanon's Jon Do? He is a sophmore now but he will be much better in the near future. His ground strokes are solid. Just wait till he gets a serve.

MJ beat WC also. Not saying they are the best in the state, just saying they are impressive. The only questionable win was H'ville when Hville's 1 was at an FFA event.
