And Hampton couldve been called for holding EVERY TIME THEY RAN THE SWEEP! It got called once and shouldve been called on your wingback every single time! If you have to blame penalties for a close game quit committing them, its that simple! And yeah the game may have been different if Adam plays all night but I dont think it wouldve been that much different, so keep making excuses on why you all couldnt beat like you thought you were going to and we will keep getting better, like I said, hope to see ya in round 3!

VERY CLASSY! Youre right the back that came off the bench did do a nice job, and the QB had a nice game, but why, after a great game like that would you try to belittle a team that just gave you the fight of your life? The QB making plays for Cosby, thats what hes supposed to do, as far as us not deserving our state rank, you can say that now because you beat us (barely) so what does that say about your team, with or without Adam? I mean if you cant take care of an overrated team no better than you all did does that make you overrated? Think about that! How can you say that Lowe stunk, he did a very good job of putting the Eagles in good to great field position all night long on KO returns with the exception of the one that we were flagged for, and if not for the penalty we would have gotten the ball on your side of 50, not bad field position. He also caught several balls offensively and converted a HUGE fourth down on our last drive to keep it going. Anyway, you stay CLASSY guy and hopefully we will see yall again in week 13!

Great game by both teams too bad thier had to be a loser in this game and unfortunately it was the BIG BLUE. However, maybe now we can get a little respect instead of people thinking that our schedule is weak and other put-downs that have been seen on this site. All the respect in the world to the Dogs, you guys have got a very solid team, but so to do the Eagles. (no matter what Unaka thinks) As a coach I know how disheartening a loss like Adam can be to a team, but hats off to the Dogs for not giving up, and a big HOOWHAH to the Eagles for takin the fight to them right down the very end! Sure wouldve liked to seen what might have happened if we could have taken one more shot in the endzone, wouldve been fun! But hey, the chapter to this rivalry may not be over yet this season, remember if we both win the first two playoff games we get to do it all over again! I truly hope that happens because if it does, look for another barnburner! Again sorry to hear about Adam's ankle he was truly a great HS player, maybe he can get a shot at the next level! BIG UPS to my Eagles for fighting thier hearts out and nearly pulling this one out, and like I said, maybe we can do this again in week 13. I got news for ya, the coaches cant play the game all they can do is put a gameplan together but the kids have to execute it. I know everyone on that staff and I know them well with the exception of Coach Bramblett, and they are all fine coaches that know the game and know how to prepare for a game so basically what youre saying is that every coach on the staff is an idiot, right? Well let me ask you this my friend, what happened between the spring and after your boys got home from camp? Did the rules change that drastically? I seriously doubt it. I mean you all had nearly 100 kids dressed and got some good athletes that should have been out there all along, you all were poised to roll and have good season then the summer came, and it sounds like some of your Srs didnt set a very good example in the summer weight program, reported out of shape, and somehow lost the desire to play the game. Sounds like youre right the coaches really messed up by not holding your hand and making you guys workout this summer and keep babying you all through the season. What A BUNCH OF CRAP! The coaches arent the problem here guy, its the fact that football just isnt as important as it should be to ALOT, but not all, of the players. Get on board with your coaching staff, listen to them and not your mommas and daddies and I bet your program will turn around alot sooner. To the boys that didnt quit, to the ones that have not given up, and especially to the coaches I say this, hang in there and keep diggin' I still believe in you and I KNOW that you all can still turn this thing around, the season is not over and the playoffs are still a real possibility! We dont have the numbers you Highlanders have and we needed every kid on the team this week so we could get a halfway decent look in practice, besides I think 3314 was talking about some of 55 points we have given up this year and not about last Friday night. I shouldnt do this but here goes, you people are the most spoiled bunch of rotten babies I have ever seen! Coach Bramblet has not even had a full season to get his system put in place and you all are ready to fry him. Obviously its not all the fans of the Forge that are talking this bunch of crap but it only takes a certain few and they can get things took care of no matter what any one thinks! The best thing that the Tiger nation could do is to leave Coach Bramblet and his staff alone and let them do their jobs! I mean they can't help it if some of their key players didn't want to be a part of something that could have possibly been special because they couldn't put up with the team rules set forth by the coach. Is that the coaching saff's fault? LEAVE THEM ALONE and let them do THEIR JOB! Just some friendly advice from this Tiger supporter, good luck the rest of the season and DO NOT quit, I would be very disapointed to find out that you guys just gave up!

Nobody on here is saying anything about how good we are, a fan just thought it would be nice to pose a question about this year's team and the 95 team. You have to beat whoever is on your schedule no matter who they are, a person that pays attention to stats and polls and possess the football knowledge that you do should know that. Where do all you people with nothing but negetive things to say about our program come from? I am truly sorry that we beat most schools up very badly at B-ball and you guys could turn around and throttle us on the gridiron, it just won't happen anymore, we will have a solid football program from now on, we will experience the same hits by graduation that every other school does and we will have some lean years as every team does, but the days of getting your B-ball revenge on the football field are over, GET USED TO IT!

Look, we have nothing but respect for the Bulldogs and their coaching staff, and like I said in my last post you cant help the actions of some people in the stands. Any way, dont worry your precious little head volgirl we are not making fun of any of your players or coaches, we know that this is the best team we have played to this point in the season and that JC and staff do a nice job with the boys up there. No disrespect to you, but we already beat you so whatever happens against Hampton doesnt really matter does it. At least not to you, thats very classy by the way as I read the post of how classless our fans were Friday night below yours and think if we were so classless then why is it just now coming out? A week later and now we find out that we had some rowdy fans! Theres a news flash, I bet no one from Stoney Creek ever got out of line at a game, it happens every where you go and some are worse than others but as far as that goes no one team or school can point the finger at another because they all have certain fans that just dont care what other people think. BUT, from what I hear our fans were just into the game and out cheering the Unaka faithful, so if your mad about that talk to your cheerleading coach or something and maybe she can hook you guys up with some lessons or something! Any way, GET OVER IT! Unaka has nothing but respect from the Cosby faithful that understand the game and know just what kind of effort the kids gave last Friday night, but I am tired of people saying "if Unaka would have threw it more this might have happened," or whatever you people are saying. If you would have thrown it more you would have gotten beat badly because you couldnt protect your QB, and as I have said before, on this thread in fact, that if you all had implemented the same gameplan as you did against us when playing Hampton that game doesnt get nearly as out of hand as it did. Then I played against you to! That 94 team was something else. I played at Sevier Co and we came down there and gave you all a pretty good game some how. I think that Tito was hurt that game but there was plenty more tallent to take up the slack! That was by far the funnest game I ever played or coached in again one of the best ever and probably the most tallented I have ever seen!

I agree! I forgot about those guys from BA. I played against them in 93 and 94 and they were outstanding! Without a question the most D1 athletes I ever played against and they were all on the field at the same time! I wish the unfrotunat suicide of the star of that team had not taken place Mr. Lee was without question the best player I ever played against and that was his Fr and So year! But you are right my friend that team was VERY special!

Actually the Green Wave reside south of K-town so have a nice trip down towards McMinn Co, and just think if the 3rd place team from that region beats us what will the 2nd place team do to you? Also, if the TB from Cloudland is back I firmly believe that you fellers will be heading to the Yellow Jacket Nest for a real stinging!

I wore Purple back in the days of the mid 90's but I do know that this year's team is something special no matter what the people from Carter Co. think! I have to agree just seeing some of the older films the 93 team was pretty tough, solid QB, speedy WR, and a tough as nails FB. They were also bigger up front than we are this year but like it has already been said to much overall speed and depth in the 06 version of the Eagles for to many teams of the past to deal with, but I think the better game would be against the 93 team and this year's team would be fun to see!
