  1. And the district as a whole is weak to add to the padded schedule and win column. I know you cant help who is in your district, but if you want to be really successful, schedule tougher tournaments and tougher regular season out-of-district games. Many teams in the spring fling will have worse records than you, but have also played tougher teams. Just stating the facts.
  2. And by the way std, are you retiring this year? Or in the next couple of years? And Cascade 11 is correct! Good luck to you.
  3. Well put it this way, to have "a date with state" you must 1st go through us in the substate, IF you make it that far.
  4. Negativity is bad I agree. But I simply stated a fact that East Robertson has played a padded schedule and they have. So as one has said to me, I'll "push up my nerdy glasses" and continue winning games and playing tougher teams throughout the regular season. Thanks and giddy-up cowboy! Yee-haw! If the facts hurt your feelings, well, they are just the facts. And by the way, I am proud of my lastname "Everything". I cannot help the fact that I was born with it. Get over it. Again, just the facts.
  5. Sorry, but this post isnt so negative. Take a little advice.
  6. Classy post!!!! Is that what they teach way up yonder in betwenst the cornfields? Anyways, who have you beaten? You still have not answered my question. I guess the corn niblets are in the 2 teeth you have left in your head and is obscuring your speech? And didnt "yall" just get beat by a nobody? Better luck next year. And I'm from neither David Lipscomb nor Davidson County for that matter. Its actually quite a bit a drive from there too! Especially in your horse and buggy way up there in Cross Plains.
  7. Well, where are all the East Robertson Fans????? Learn how to schedule tougher teams, play tougher tournaments, and keep your mouth's shut and let your play to the talking will only help you in the future. I find it rather amazing how East Robertson got sooooo many players on the MTSCA All-Midstate Team!!!!
  8. Who have they beaten that stands out other than a jv lipscomb team?
  9. WOW!!!! East Rob won the College Heights Tournament!!!!! Who was in it this year? I bet it was nobody any good!!!! AND WOW they won the SILVER bracket in the 'Boro???? Well if East Rob was worth a flip, they'd play in the GOLD bracket instead of the JV bracket!!!! Give me a break. Beat some good teams and then start braggin after you do so. Yeah you beat Lipscomb minus a couple of players, but who else? C'mon Roo and Tigger, we have better things to do than read about a team playing a padded schedule!
  10. Dude, don't consider a few wins over Stewart and Cheatham "good". Beat THE Wood and Harpeth and Waverly then you can speak about "good".
  11. When will Creekwood beat the snot out of Sycamore again? Where will it be played? And time?
  12. *You can hit, huh? Looks like Sycamore scored a lot in your game against Rossview! HA! *Your defense is awesome? How many runs did Sycamore give up to Rossview? Now go eat your crow and get better. Youre gonna have to if you wanna compete with the big dawgs in the district in Creekwood and Waverly. G-LUCK!
  13. The way I see it for this region: 1. Creekwood - They are the defending champs and dont listen to the people on here trying to downplay them, they are a powerhouse. 2. Waverly - Very young team last year that made a lot of noise. Always well coached and will be back this year. Could possibly win the ditrict???? 3. Harpeth - They play well, until under pressure. Hats off to the coach for sticking to his guns and leading by example. 4. Fairview - The new cats to the region with a lot of experience and good pitching. 5. Sycamore - They are talented, but always under-achieve. They could be competing for the district title if the girls play together. When will a coach stay there longer than 1 year??? What's up with that? 6. Montgomery Central - Same ole, same ole. 7. Cheatham County - They wont be last this year just because Stewart loses the house! 8. Stewart Co - Rode the coat tails of excellent pitching last year and were very senior laden. Coach "hawaii" doesn't even know the distance of the pitching rubber to the plate. Read his post. C'mon man? Read the rule book! You could split with Cheatham for the bottom of the barrell. Good luck to all teams and hopefully this district will be well represented at the state this year!!!
  14. What's the results???????????? Who's going to state in each weight class???
  15. Congratulations to Sycamore on making the state tournament. But laughing stock? Last year, yeah maybe, but in the previous 2-3 years before that they were pretty darn good. There was no small school division to compete in then and I do believe they could have won it or at least made an excellent run in 2003 and 2004 if there had been. Each of those years they sent 5 wrestlers to state with a few winning medals. Sycamore had to compete with Clarksville and Kenwood in the past, now its only Cheatham County to get to state. That's a huge difference! But nonetheless, GREAT JOB SYCAMORE! That's an excellent example of starring adversity in your face and overcoming it with the troubles you had last year and this year! Best of luck at state.
