Heard some things at the state tourney and Coach Rice is the choice.Not that alot of people want this job because the pay is horrible.The last I heard and this also came from the state tourney that he was considering Hardin Co.

Would like to know the "idiots" who don't want him back? You better get him while you got the chance. Him as a coach and his boys being that good he can go anywhere he wants big or small.You people have got problems in Wayne Co. This is a man that can take kids and make them believe in themselves. I know that things haven't been as good in Perry Co. but have you seen the players he has.The year he went 5-5 he should have gone 1-9. You better do something fast or you're going to lose him.Coach Rice just want what is best for his kids.Send him to Murfreesboro.We would welcome him with open arms and his boys!

Got a phone call this morning and the reliable source said that Coach Vandiver from Collinwood is the next coach at Wayne Co. Good luck next year and welcome to Region-6!

It's about time someone mentioned C.J.s name.He is the best athlete in the whole tournament, by far.Led the state in every classification in rushing in football.And he has got to have led the state in steals.A true 4.5 in the forty and he is just fun to watch.I promise you he will run circles around those kids from Clay Co. if he stays out of foul trouble.He is that good.Gets it done real quite like! Always grinning when he plays because he know he is so much faster and quicker.Oh and by the way he shoots the 3 pretty decent too.

It would be awesome if things were like they use to be.Even though Coach Rice is back in Region 6, its still not the same when those two hardheaded coaches went at it.Maybe we can get Coach Mac back somewhere in Region 6 and let him and Rice go at it again.Pretty boring with those two not going at it anymore.More stories than I can ever remember.They certainly love what they do!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard there was going to be an announcement on the Wayne Co. job next week. Hearing through the grapevine it is one of the coaches at Collinwood.Let us know! Also when is Eagleville going through spring practice? Hearing awesome things from this bunch!

warrior2024, I agree with you! People need to be stand up people and be responsible for any bad choice they choose.Leadership has become a foreign word in athletic fields.If you do have it wether it be a coach or player you better take advantage of it.I wish we could go back to the old days where things were dealt with on the field and dealt with right then, instead of the court system!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this will be a very tough region.Probably the toughest region in the state in Class A. Got alot of good players returning.Looks like Region 5 has finally caught with Region 6.Region 6 is going to be "way down" next year.There are only two teams in region 6 next year and that is Mt.Pleasant and Collinwood. Lowest I've seen it in 20 years!That's a shame because this region has always taken alot of pride in being the most competitive region in the state in Class A. You boys better get to work or it could be a long year or two. What about Eagleville? Are they going to be that good? Hearing good things in the Boro!

He has won on pure talent alone! Seen his teams play in the state championships and they were always so undisciplined and things would happen on the sidelines that I didn't agree with(players talking back), but they won and I guess that is all that matters.Good luck because you better have tons of talent!!!!!!!!!!!

#3 Hammack is there best player.Led the state in rushing in every classification in football this year.The quickest and fastest kid that I have ever seen.Saw him play in a holiday tourney.Can take over a game in a hurry!

Going down the Trace would be your best bet.Look for Waynesboro exit and get on Hwy. 64 west.About 10 miles from the square and follow the signs to Collinwood or Florence, Al.which is Hwy. 13 South.Go about a mile and it will be on your left.
