Latoya Bellamy should have not been playing due to having a bad knee. Don't judge her on that one game and don't judge Alyson on that one game either.

I made the statement that Westview vs Cheatham County in the state final game before all the injuries and the playing of illegal players happen. First, If you put Cheatham County two player, Abby Lawson and Katie Morehead, back on their team they are playing Austin East this afternoon in the Semis. They still somehow made it to the Substate with just two players. Secondly, Westview lost thier PG about two to three weeks ago. Any team that has to play without their PG is going to struggle. I didn't see the game but from what I heard they struggled bigtime yesterday handling the ball. Alyson Butler? I never said she wasn't that good of a player. Is she top 5 junior in the state of TN? NO, she is a nice player and after watching her three or four times this year that is all she is a NICE PLAYER! From what I heard she had a really good game yesterday. Congrats to Alyson! I would hope Walker Valley will win AA since thier enrollment is more than half of AAA schools across the state of TN. I was told yesterday from someone close to the situation that Jeremy Wileham was in the running to get this job. Those of you that don't know who Jeremy is I will inform you, he is the son of Rick Insell best friend and from what the word on the streets of is Jeremy has already been over and talked with the AD about this job and looks as if he might be the front runner to try to bring Franklin Co back to the glory days.

When teams can't knock down shots it is a result of one or two things. First, Shelbyville plays great DEFENSE! Always have and Always will! They get after you all over the floor and by the end it wears on your legs. It called being GOOD! Second, It called getting tight and not wanting to make a big shot. I said it Tuesday and everyone laughed and thought it was a joke but it ended up being fact. Columbia is more talented than Shelbyville but will not beat them cause they will get tight! They did just that, the players and all the coaches were very tight and scared of the Little Man and his Army. To quote a good friend, Flemtone, some may call it "CHOKING". I was not at the game tonight but I got play by play from several different people during the game. I would have loved to been there to see how shocked the Lady Lions fans were. You had a great year but as the Little Man has always told us the season is broke into three parts: Before Christmas, After Christmas and the Tournaments. I have said it time after time that noone in the state of Tennessee has their kids playing like Rick has his girls playing every year when the Tournaments roll around. I am so happy for the kids and coaching staff and rest easy tonight cause you put the haters to sleep tonight. If anyone is wondering I am going to go out on that same limb I went out on tonight and say that my Loved Eaglettes get another win Thursday Night and once again take another step closer to the "Glass House." Hey Columbia Fans we didn't throw the district consolation game cause we wanted to beat you when it hurt the most and what "Napeleon" wanted happened again and that was a chance to play for the Region Title and to send Columbia back to the Lions Den to collect the uniforms for the year. YOU GOT TO BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to the girls and coaches at Mt. Juliet. You may not know this but there is a really good chance for you to win the National Title. Christ the King still has to play in a very very tough inner-city tourney that they have lost in the past three years. The team that beat them is the 10th place team in the Nation Murry Bergtraum which happens to have the best point guard in the nation in the 2006 class and from what I hear is picked to beat Christ the King again. The two teams do not play in the regular season even though they are only 15 min apart.

Hey Flem, Columbia wants to talk about recruiting, ask them where Janay Armstrong came from? If you didn't have Armstrong you finish third in the district and Lincoln County would have been first followed by Shelbyville. After tomorrow night it not going matter cause the Eaglettes will be one game closer to the "Glass House"

You can't break your pride enough and admit that White County will never be as good as Shelbyville.

I remember and I also remember that the officials were really one sided that night. If we have those same three officials we had that night tonight then I may be taking a early exit from the gym tonight. I was wondering if White County was going bring Mike Shockley and Steve Holland back and prop a statue of each up beside the score table tonight since they are the only two people in White County Basketball history to slow the Eaglettes down and then they couldn't do it consistently so they got Fired. Flem: I just got done watching ESPN classic and they had the replay 1995 Region Finals Game. I am watching Allie Clark steal the ball and go in laying it up for a three point play after White County decided to freeze the meat about three minutes to early. White County beat Shelbyville two times that year and when it counted the most the Little Man and Flemtone guided the Eaglettes to a Region Finals Victory in classic of all classic win in Shelbyville Basketball History. So what I have said all year will come true again this year and that is the Eaglettes will find a way to win and if they don't people don't worry I will start getting ready for next year and our 5 freshman that are coming in and let me warn you now THEY ARE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.

Showtime is heading out of Knoxville ready in full force for a Eaglette Win. I am passing up on a opportunity to see my aau girls in region 2 and 3 play to come see my loved Eaglettes shine again. I am glad that Columbia is enjoying their year and congrats on winning the district. I believe it was the first time ever? I am glad that you will get a district banner up in your gym! Come look at our banners they are only final four banners and also alot of State title banners. Shelbyville has not had a great year but I still Believe. Until they are put out teams will not rest easy. I will say Shelbyville wins in a close game cause I will give it to White County it is a tough place to play. Columbia will be back to their very comfortable position in the district after these junior graduate. They will be back playing for 5 or 6 every year. A program is their every year and with Shelbyville having a very down year they still won 18 games and finished 3rd in district. You have a good team but WE HAVE A PROGRAM. So after next year you will be back on here crying cause the Little Man is running the score up on you again.

Don't expect to see me walking the sidelines at Briarcrest anytime soon. If Briarcrest is smart they will go after Tom Hodges or Kevin McMillian. Briarcrest is top 3 job in the state of TN. These two guys will keep this program going up and will follow very nicely in Hugh Freeze footsteps. HeavyD. I am not worried at all about losing my bet to you. I will make sure we play atleast three times this spring/summer and I will have my kids ready. I am sure that Latoya is going enjoy helping me win a steak dinner off you and your sidekick McMillian

Tom Hodges - Ast. coach at UTC Womens Basketball. Worked the past four years as a student ast coach on Bill Worrell staff at Tennessee Tech. Is from Shelbyville and help run shelbyville summer basketball program the past six years. Kevin McMillian - Martin Westview coach. Is one of the top coaches in the state and if they are smart they will check his intrest level. These two coaches are the best two people for the job. I don't see them giving the job to the ast coach or the Harding coach.
