Do u think he is more dominant b/c he scores more? I look at it this way. If thad had 30 last week against BA and BW had 18 i look at the assist BW had and it equals to the same amount pretty much. If you can get a big man to score his 18 to 20 and then get him dishing the ball to other players it makes him alot tougher to guard than someone who is just looking to score.

Grant it i thought Young was a great player it's just it seemed to me when i saw them play head 2 head i noticed Wright got his teammates more involved.

i got it, it's Hardin Co., JCM, Munford and Brighton in the other district. I know Brighton played RE within 3 earlier in the season and then got spanked by 30 a couple of weeks ago. I know Munford is terrible b/c we played them and they only have one player. I saw JCM play at Dyer County tourney and they were quick and athletic but couldn't handle much pressure but i have no idea what Hardin County has got. So from what i've seen and heard Top 2 region teams should come out of district 14AAA.

I know RE is in 7AAA b/c they are in our district they went AAA this year. I thought North Side went AA. Is Dyersburg AAA and in that region? I heard the Jackson district that is in 7AAA is pretty weak this year with JCM probably being the best team???????

Who are the top two teams in this region? Raliegh Egypt Brighton Munford Bartlett Cordova Bolton Millington Craigmont JCM There's one more team and i can't think of who it is. they are in the Jackson district. What's your opinion on top two team?

Phil Clark at Bartlett High school. Not only did he win state championships at Germantown but he has turned around the Bartlett program and has made them contenders as well.

I don't know what it will be like in a few years or so b/c we only have one middle school feeder but watch out for Bartlett next year. Only one senior on the team this year that has got great talent in the Junior and Sophmore class. With this years expierence that the team is getting since only three of the 12 players played varsity ball last year we are looking for a big season out of them next year.

yeah they have that gym but it stinks b/c you can't take food into it.

But does that make him better than Wright?

Adams does let his players play as long as it is in the system which i think every coach should do. A prime example of this was when Tippet was winning all the state tourneys with Sheldon. They played their game in the White Station system. And when you have a system like Tippets you know it comes down to coaching, Ex. look at ECS this year, went from nothing to state contenders in the D2 division.

We played them in the Dyer County Christmas Tournament. You have to remember they are playing alot of freshman that just came for middle school and put into the heat of varsity basketball. They aren't use to the speed of the game, give them time and this team will be good.

If any of ya'll have ever watched Bartlett basketball you know that they are known for guys that can shoot the trey ball. Yes i'm an assistant coach at Bartlett and I played there. This year we have got two guys that can shoot lights out. I know ya'll have never heard of them but Wes Milligan and Bryant Murphy are both close to shooting 50 percent for the year. Bryant is shooting 48.1 percent and Milligan is shooting 47.6 percent. Pretty good for a season behind the arc.

Another reason i think RE will beat Hamilton if the meet in Sectionals or State touney is because i don't think Hamilton is well coached he just has unreal athletes. I believe Adams is one of the better coaches in Memphis. Granted he has some of the top athletes but they do what he wants them to do and it's not just get the ball and go. They actually listen very well for a team that is loaded with guys that can go. So if it comes down to coaching the second time you have to give the edge to Adams.

I've seen our team get spanked by Brentwood Academy with Wright playing last year and then we scrimmaged Mitchell before the season started and we actually played them well. I saw both of them play at the Nike Hardwood Classic here in Memphis and my thoughts about it was Wright was much better than Young. If you saw the box score you saw that Young had 30 and Wright had 18 or 20. But from watching the game Wright is going to be much better in college than Young would ever be. Wright is smooth and gets everybody involved in the game. Granted Wright has Josh Bone who signed with SIU and can absolutely shoot the lights out of the ball and then Wrights younger brother can play as well. Young also has a few players that have signed D1 ball, I can't remember kids name but he signed with University of Florida. I just felt that Wright didn't force anything and got everyone involved while Young was trying to get his. I wanted to know everyone elses thoughts about these two players.

I don't know what the competition is like anywhere else in Tennessee but Hamilton is beatable. I was hoping the ice in Memphis would hold off until sunday to see RE and Hamilton play in the city championship but it didn't. Hamilton is huge. I talked to Coach Adams at raleigh Egypt and he said that they'd probably get beat the first time they played hamilton but wouldn't lose the second time. If anyone knows adams he's a big film buff. I watched hamilton play melrose and after the first quarter melrose had a 4 or 6 point lead something like that then hamilton slapped the press on them. If your patient against them and can break a press then you have a shot and o yeah you better be able to play some "D" and boxout out some guys that can jump out of the gym.
