Webb has improved quite a bit over the course of the season

TOP SENIOR? Jared Zigler! The Keeper who sat behind Ryan Jenkins form Maryville for 2 years waiting for his chance to show his GREAT SKILLS! Started this season off great and is very talented. His high school career ended on Monday against Farragut, with 2 broken bones in his arm, such a shame to see his seaon go down. Def. a TOP SENIOR that will lead his Maryville Team throughout this year! GOOD LUCK

well having seen Bearden get Dominated by Maryville+ i dont really like them, im sure their players can agree with me that my name (Ole! Ole!) really is true bc those yelling words were all they herd as Maryville made thier ride home a lot worse. im going with West 2 Bearden 1 Good Luck to Both Teams.

yes the keeper breaking his arms was a HUGE LOSS for the team... the defense will have to step up and the new freshmen has some big shoes to fill. its so upsetting for a team like this with so much potential to have such a big loss. but for the senior keeper to ask the doctor if he could play with a cast on is amazing showing how much he loves what he does! Good Luck I hope this becomes a Cinderella Story for Maryville! I think they can do it!

I Agree...Maryville i think has stepped up the level of play this year and is ready to be the best in the district.

The game was a good one... Bearden didnt come to play and Maryville had been ready to win since last years tie both teams have respect but I was not impressed with Bearden at all. Maryville is looking to surprise a lot of people this year.. Ole!..... Ole! Ole! Ole!

I don't think this is that big of a shock. Considering Maryville beat Bearden two years ago and tied them last year. But yeah I was at the Maryville game and they really killed Bearden. Bearden im sure did not perform as well as they could have but for the first time in many many years Maryville looked like a much better team.

since this is the only forums on 10th grade...from the East.... Ridge Carter (Maryville) Played as freshmen last year on a team that had a good season.... Played for DLP, dont know much bout that tho...just that he played for them not sure if he is THE BEST but, for sure a great 10th grader...one of the best from the East I know...

Farragut....is good team in a very hard district.... should be alright, but the other teams in the district are just as talented as they are if not more... Its all about districts....and who can get out.

Its a little early for state talk.....but hey think big!

First this forum is "Top TEAMS" ( Plural ) so wragging someone bc in his oppion his team/school is a top team thats BS. let him talk ...maybe they wont go all the way to state but you never know we'll have to see....Maryville def. needs respect bc of thier district their in. COULD very well be on of the hardest in the whole south. So TOP TEAMS: (not in any oder) Maryville South Doyle Farragut Bearden CAK Soddy Daisy Webb McMinn Christian Brothers and so on....there are alot of good teams.

Webb tied Maryville 1-1. Webbs goal was good but due to bad coaching on Maryville's part..they took put in the wrong players when they should have left everyone in.. Webb is a GOOD team! VERY GOOD. but , Maryville played better with more of an attack. plus the webb goal shouldnt have happend. but good game to both teams and both teams are strong and are looking good for the real season.

Ok thats is sad to hear....bc if players arent playing for the fans...which may be the case in some instances then why are they playing for money? if it was pure competition why is it a "Job"....there "job" is not to compete. It is to entertain the fans. Take the fans away, then the players arent getting paid therefore, instead of "playing for competition" they wont be playing at all.... I know soccer players arent the highest paid athletes, but its there job is to entertain BY COMPETING! The competition is the entertainment.... But if we dont agree on that...thats ok...bc the bottom line is that something must be done to end it.

Technically yes i guess you could stop the fans from coming to the games...but what is the point of (futbol) soccer,basketball,baseball,anysport? the point is entertainment for the FAN! yes the racisim must stop but, emlinating the fans would (in a business matter) destory the team finanicly but something must be done... so if I or you were to go to a UT football game....and there happen to be someone of a different race playing and being made fun by the majiority of the fans because thier skin color...and the university stopped fans from coming to the Neyland Stadium....why should we not be able to watch the games live? bc the majority was racisit???? i dont think so.... but i highly doubt that entire stadium was racist to eto' ...maybe but its unlikly Something should be done, but not emliminating the fans bc not all fans were racist. BUT if you punished all of them then maybe the others would change bc they love the game....and want to see thier team play.....

Dont get me wrong this is a terroble thing that happened. Action should be taken, but what can you do? Racism is everywhere and is one of many flaws in this world. you cant stop the fans from coming to the games? it has to be a change of mind in the fans(and the World) themselves, which may not happen? Racism is Still Alive Today And its WRONG

It would seem logical that it would be D1???? Not that theres not good players or talent in D2 or NAIA but that D1 should have the most talent?? Correct Me If Am Wrong....

Alcoa soccer inst underrated their just BAD! sorry! football overshadows you bc they go to state...Alcoa soccer doesnt come close to that....maybe your thoughts on Alcoa apply better to a school like Maryville or William Blount. Thier teams especially Maryville have been overshadowed by football bc their soccer team is good but fans look at state titles and soccer isnt very popular in the south compared to football....but alcoa soccer is overshadow bc they arent any good.

Yes...a great word to describe them....with maryville loosing Franklin and their keeper Jenkins both to South Carolina they will be a team that most dont think about. they have rebuilt and are now playing more as a TEAM.... players playing together and have great ball movement... the younger kids that have stepped up will make a great add for the team. they still are in ONE of the hardest disricts in the state so gettin out of it, will be a great goal as a team!
