As we come down the home streach, who is in and who is out? What will the seedings look like? and any one want to make an early State champ prediction?

From what I heard in talking to a few people who did travel to the game it was what we have seen in every Ryan loss so far. Deffense gives up one or two big plays early then holds them for the rest of the game but the Irish offense struggles to capitalize on good field position. Its not McPhail that is the problem its just that Ryan doesnt have that one big name play maker on offense. If you look at the top DII school's they all have atleast one.

Both QB's are pretty good, either one can lead this team to a win. Which ever one starts im sure will do fine

Who are Baylors big players, dont they have a really big RB?

If Ryan can pass the ball as well as they did against BGA and get a little more out of the run game I give this one to Ryan. I would say that Ryan is getting into some must win games to get a good seed in the playoffs and im sure they will bring their best game. Will the game be brodcasted over the web this week?

Father Ryan wins 29-0. Ryan finaly showed some life in the passing game and the deffense played very well forcing another shut out. With this win Father Ryan has qualified for the playoffs Congrats to Coach Lussier, his staff, and his players on getting back to the post season.

Last I heard was it took 5 wins to get to the playoffs, and Ryan also has Baylor in there, who I dont know much about, but if Ryan can beat them and BGA they will be in.

Well this game reminded me a TON of the Franklin game, the Deffense sliped up early and then bounced back and gave the Offense the ball with good field position but they just couldnt put it in. Hopefully the Irish will bounce back against BGA and get that spot in the Playoffs so we can get MBA again.

Dont forget about those Ryan RB's....they can make plays as well as everyone. that and they have a couple of WR who can make plays when the ball gets in their hands.

Father Ryan has a very good shot at winning this one, yes I understand MBA has suffered some key losses in players. The key for Father Ryan is going to be to stop the run. I wasnt able to catch the MBA JPII game but I was talking to someone who did and they said that all MBA did was run. Sometimes they wouldn't even put a QB in, just line a RB and FB up in the gun. If the Deffense can shut the run down and the Offense can have success both on the ground and through the air, I think we will be hearing the Father Ryan Fight Song on the MBA field.

Oh I wouldnt say it is impossible to shut them out, they got very lucky on that catch that they broke for a long run... Anyways Great game for the Irish, the rushing game was all it tooke. I was glad to see # 12 back in the game. Everything looked pretty solid on both sides of the ball which is good because they are going to have to be solid next week for MBA

Thought I would give my 2 cents on the game: The Irish are going to have to be carefully to not overlook CHS and know that they are going to have to come out and play just as hard as they did against CBHS and JPII. If they play like that the this game could get out of hand fast. From what I understand about CHS they are actualy a pretty talented bunch, a couple over very tall WR, and a RB who won state in the 100m. The Deffense is going to have to be looking to contain that RB and send him back to the middle for those hard hitting LB's to clean up. My prediction is: 38-0- Father Ryan leaves 4-1 and gets ready for MBA with a shut out. See everyone at the game GO IRISH

If you think back to the late 90's Vandy is where the Irish played and ever since they stoped playing there they play one game there a year and it is usualy homecomming.

Amen fellow Irish fan, Father Ryan can not overlook this CHS team. The Irish know better than anyone that a team that has no wins can come in and shock a very good team ( Father Ryan vs Franklin last year). They need to go out friday night and take care of Centenial and then start getting ready for MBA

Yeah I dont think Ryan can be considered an "easy win" anymore this year.

Father Ryan comming off a blow out and Centenial still looking for that first win, how will this one turn out?

I cant belive im actualy saying this but, JPII takes this one and Golden has the break out game everyone has been waiting for him to have all year long.

Blow out by the Irish 33-0 I think was the final. Great game on both sides of the ball with just a couple of slip ups here or there. It was great to see that even with the loss of their starting QB they can come out and win. Great game Irish

A little more than 2 days away from the game not not much talk from Saint fans... Who are someone of their big players this year?

I was told tonight by someone who knows the Blair's that Ryan has a cracked rib and will miss this week, they said they are not sure if he will miss the next week against centenial but if all goes well he should be back for the big one against MBA

Big game for both teams: Father Ryan comming off a tough loss to Franklin, and will possibly be showing a new QB. A win here will put Father Ryan at 2-0 in region play and will take another big step twords the playoffs. Briarcrest on the other hand is comming of a big win against Treadwell and is still looking for their first region win. We all rember last years game where Ryan Blair had a pass picked off in the closing minutes that was returned for a TD that cost the Irish the game. Lets start hearing the toughts on this years game.
