    MBA V RYAN

Your right, i have not seen MBA play, so i do not know if they are good enough to beat CBHS or not, but i know that CBHS scores a good percentage of their opportunities and are a very very good team, being good in every position. I just find it hard for them to lose this season.
  2. ya but he undermines other teams, while making his own look better.
  3. really? where are these guys from? i hear that the Lee coach is rally good.
  4. ok thanks. does anyone know how MUS scored, or any details from the game because i got bets on Houston for winning state.
  5. I personally love futsol, i wish they had it professionally because i might just hit that up. but, it does not help foot skills any better than using a real soccer ball and just playing normal 3 on 3. It is always best to get touches and experiance with what you need and use when you are actually playing the game; in this case this thing is a soccer ball. For those of you that cannot juggle in your house without breaking things, you definitely need to juggle more because your touch is not near where it should be. i too have juggled tennis balls and found it to help a little, but i still it does not have the same spin that comes with a soccer ball. One can challenge himself while juggling alone by kicking the ball with spin, or high, or a little too far in front of him/her where he/she has to go forward and still maintain control.
  6. you see i had a little glance into the future, but i couldn't see how MUS scored, so i guessed, but that may be wrong. How did MUS score, just so i can see if my prediction was 100%.
  7. well Andrew Hinkle from Bearden has really stepped it up and has played really well, he is th guy that starts plays but becomes the assisster's assisster. Maybe i am just happy to see him pick it up, but he has done very well against top teams. so i wouldn't say he is the best, but he is a great player. my best would have to be #10 on CBHS i am pretty sure he plays outside right, if not he is a defender that pushes up alot, but he was amazing.
  8. I think that Andy Kimball needs to find some love for the game, because of what i have seen him play in high school and club he looks as if he does not want to be there; however, when he does play he is a very solid player that can do everything a midfielder needs well (i guess that would mean he is solid).
  9. my goodness number 8 sometimes you talk way to soon, and it will come back to haunt you. Congrats to Morristown West and good luck in districts/regionals
  10. well the game is tomorrow and should prove to be pretty interesting. who do you all think will take this? I think it will be close but end up 3-2 in favor of Farragut. but it should be hard fought and well played. then again CAK did beat Oliver Springs (harmless joke). no but they did beat lenior city 4-0
  11. yep i was there, i just shook my head and said "Unbelievable" just kidding i would be a nerd if i said that and heaven knows i am not. but it was the best shot i have seen st the high school level.
  12. my bet is 3-1 Houston, MUS has one guy (i heard he is playing for TNFC now) who can just rocket a shot and i see him scoring one.
  13. then university of the cumberlands is having a camp with coach Paulo Neto. He is a very good coach from Brazil (i guess that matters to some). He took a competitive club boys team from not doing great in state to runner ups in one season and the game was really good ending 2-1. Just in case some of you want to play at a NAIA school, this is a good one
  14. i would much rather stick to a soccer ball anyday. There is a huge difference in a little hacky sack and a soccer ball and i really do not see how it can help with someone's touch, you do not have to be that precise while playing with a hackie sack because it is so small your whole foot covers it up. I just think practicing with a normal ball is best.
  15. I do not know about Brentwood. They do not have a hard schedule at all. I think that someone else will take it this year, maybe even germantown Houston, fro mwhat i heard they will really strong.
  16. is it lakeway crush? like near Morristown or jefferson city i think. because there is a trainer there named Mike McDonald who is amazing, he used to coach on the crush before they kicked him out for Gary. But i think Mike McDonald was the best coach i have ever had and would recommend him to anyone (if this is the right place
  17. who refs the state tournamnet? are they refs from tennessee? because i think that we should hire refs from like far waway states, maybe from Florida or something were the refs do not know any one. I too think that refs should have a harder test before reffing high school games. Maybe there should be a position in which a person goes and evaluates refs when they ref those mandatory 100 to 200 highly competitive games. I do not like the handball rule and think that the rule should be more exact; i think they should change do that it is a handball everytime, unless it hits a nonmoving person, like a person in a wall, or a man watching the posts on corner kicks. other than that i think they should call it a handball because it can always be argued that the ball did indeed help the person and therefore should have been called.
  18. i personally do not know if it was questionable, but i do know they did score off a pk. does anyone have the story on this? i will try and get the "Bearden" story, if no one else gets it.
  19. to me a slide tackle should only be called if it is cleats up or the player does not touch ball first, or maybe hits ball first and then raises his leg. Something like that, as from behind, it would have to be a very clean tackle; any touching of the player from a slide tackle from behind should be called. (in my opinion) other than that, let them play, i mean if someone slides, hits ball and then a little of the player's cleat, oh well it is a physical game. too often i see perfect tackles and than the result is a free kick that should not happen but because slide tackles are seen as "dangerous" and the ref doesn't like them, he/she blows the whistle. Some of these bad calls (opinion) result in goals that should never have happened.
  20. well they had this weekend taht went pretty well for them. they played rossview, mba, and GTown Houston. now thy only have Dobyns-Bennet before district, which is on the 4th (thursday). i see that farragut has CAK to play, i might actually show up to see that, it should be good.
  21. Bearden tied houston 2-2. they beat roosview 4-0 beat MBA 4-0 as well. maybe Bearden is finding their rhythm, it is great to see some big wins.
  22. i am glad that you did because now Farragut will play harder and their might be a great rematch (hopefully at Farragut so i can watch) why do you care about their supporters? you beat them and left your dominace on the field along with some earned respect even if they don't want to accept it.
  23. it seems that farragut just doesn't play against Science Hill, they got beat by them 2 years ago as well, congrats to SH, i hope you guy can do well if you get out of regions. it looks like this region is going to be strong no matter who goes through. (even though i hope it is Bearden and Farragut) Farragut you guys just need to rebound against Oak Ridge and take it easy, you don't need more injuries before the stuff that really counts comes. I know Bearden only has 4 more games before district.
  24. how did you found the topic from two years ago? haha a trip into the past.
  25. i guess no one from Bearden wants to talk about it the Varsity game they just wait for hopefully 3 rematches. wouldn't that be a sight. but it was a good game and looked like a fun one to play in.
