off subject, but i played with Boone and i herad he is hurt or was hurt, how is he doing? does he plan to go to college?

no Bearden pretty much won this game i'd say possession was about even but possession on the other team's half belongs to Bearden. Of course West did have times of beautiful soccer and they had one play that tore up Bearden's defense leaving it with a wide open guy in the box verse the keeper and Brian got the best of that deal (probly lucky, HA) but anyway Bearden was withou Rico and others like Hinkle stepped it up a whole lot and played very well so did Ryan, Cesar, Tom, and Phillip Andrae. Even saw some passing going on in the back, becoming more patient, it was nice, maybe now they can move on. do west and maryville play? if so when? or if it happened already what was the oucome?

this type of statements do not make any sense. A 5 year old does not know how to run at an angle to catch somebody, they do not know that when the best player on the field has the ball to just poke it, or to pass around him at all costs, a five year old does not have the heart to play and do everything he can to win, I am sure that there are pros that have played longer than ronaldinho, that doesn't make them better, i am just saying that that argument means nothing. I started playing when i was 4, there are people my age that did not start until they were 8 or 9 and just as good or better than i am even though i have played for 4 more years then they have. number 8, we have all agreed that Ronaldinho would score if he got an opportunity to shoot within 35 yards pretty much everytime, but no one has given me a solution on how he is to get that shot besides, he is an amazing dribbler and can somehow dribble through 10 players on kick-offs. Dinho is only one man, he is not a demi-god, how hard is it to pass around one guy, have you all ver played 5 vs. 2 in a closed off area? it is still very hard for the 2 to ever get the ball and that is in a very small area in a soccer game you have alot more space and besides 5 vs 2 it is 11 on that 1, plus the other guys who stink, he is just never going to get the ball. i have heard the same thing abut dinho's kahunas.

i think if it was Ronald and and another player to his caliber than the team with the pros would win, but if it was Ronald and just a semi-good pro than the team with the pros would lose, but Ronaldinho and a almost Ronaldinho is just too much. I think if it was the absolute best players in the state in any division versus a team with two ronaldinho's the team with the best players in state would win. I like this I am having fun.

are you kidding? you are saying that the only team ronald will get the ball is off kick-off's (which i already stated as a time he would get the ball) now that means he has to score every single team on the kick-offs, plus the one he gets at the start or half. That is unheard of, he would be fouled, or just surrounded, he would not score every single one, and if he is fouled at near half-field i am sorry but he would not score that. We would not have to score every possession, why would the other team have to socre every possession? if that were the case they would score a whole lot of points maybe 150 or more, if they scored every possession. Ronaldo's only possession would be on kick-offs according to you and he definitely would not score all of those. besides dribbling is very very tiring, i have been caught in alot of trouble, a heap of three opponents and gotten out by dribbling and i was tired after that and had to rest for a second, i know that i am in no way the shape ronald is but he would have to do it time and time again, it is IMPOSSIBLE. please someone else tell me how he can gain possession because if the only time he gets possession is off kick-offs he will lose badly. one more thing according to you the only possible amount ronald could ever be up by is one measly point.

this post has nothing to do with anything. A u-8 team does not know what to do in the first place. A u-8 team cannot pass around and isolate the one great player on the field like a great high school team can and to say these are the same things is crazy talk. A great high school team knows when to pass, when to clear and all the other things that come with getting more experience on a soccer team. Your comparison is a very weak argument. Now what is all this "he doesn't need to dribble he can just run" talk, i am glad that soccer teams get points for running now, i did not know soccer has become a track event. So he is going to rn wthout the ball, well i am glad that he can do this, i really am. IrishLegacy what did you mean, everytime he went to the ball? he would get passed around instantly, the other team would allow no chance of him getting the ball, unless by freak accident or by kick-off's. besides it is not man marking it is quadrupal marking (quadruple because i do not know the term for five), great point frommy, he is running to with the expectation that he will be recieving a pass, wait a second no pass will come his way, sorry ronaldinho. please ronald supporters tell me how ronald is going to get the ball in the first place to use these amazing skills he has. I need a solution otherwise he cannot win.

no because he beats those guys one sometimes two at a time, he cannot beat 5 professionals surrounding him at all times, he can't beat any five people that are half-way good. Now reading other people's posts it seems that you re a very good player, I do not know what position you play, but have you ever had it that a coach puts just one of his players on you, that person follows you every where you go? I have, I was better than that player in every aspect of the game, but it is very hard to beat somebody who is right on you, your first touch has to be PERFECT or the ball is poked, you can not turn because right when you do he is there and the ball is poked, and if somehow you do get a miracle turn, he is still there jockying, delaying you until help arrives and you have to pass it anyway or try and beat him FASTLY, and it does happen sometimes. now times all that by 5 and what do you get? a person trying to do something but can't because he is smothered, he can not recieve a ball for two reasons: 1, his players stink and cannot pass, and 2, he cannot recieve a ball because there are too many people in his way who can just poke and kick it far away. I would be suprised if he scored 3 goals. Now again, how do you propose he is going to stop the team from scoring on him endlessly?

you guys make it sound like ronald is going to have the ball the whole game. I believe a team making it to state would have the common sense to kepp the ball away from him, a little thing called passing. I knoiw Ronaldinho is a very good player, but seriously cmon, there is no way. all you would have to do is poke poke poke, 5 people stabbing on him there is no way for him to go the ball will be stolen. He will score but his team will be scored on time and time again. a great team playing against te worst in state should score at least 15 goals on them. Do you really think that Ronaldinho can score 15 goals? and if you ever do get a lead by 3 or 4 than you can drop every one back and just focus directly on Ronaldinho. It is ludicrous to think that one player can beat a whole team. I do not care how he can beat one professional, we are talking about 5 or 6 guys at one time, and on top of all this the only time Ronaldino is ever going to get the ball is if he gets it himself or off the kick-off. Now how is he ever going to steal it? a player sees him coming and boom instantly a 50 yard kick to a forward, or just anywhere up there it is not as if that team is going to trap. and even if he is playing defense, you can still pass it around him. One man cannot stop 4 forwards if the forwards are patient. He just could not keep up. and that is the end of it, one man cannot beat 11 let's say the other sucky players count as one person as well, so 2 people can not beat 11, unless that person is omnipotent or can teleport and ronaldinho cannot do either.

you might want to rethink that. i am sorry to hear that as well, seeing how Maryville is a very strong team and has a chance of going to state this year, i hope that they can make up for this loss. i wasn't there but it seems like they didn't put him up to the test that much, but Bearden told me that he is a great keeper. yes but these other players are the worst in the state, that means that they cannot trap, pass, shoot, in terrible condition, it does not matter if their is only one defender he could handle it if ronald wasn't attacking. So you put the people on him were ever he goes. also, the defenders are terrible and your forwards would look like ronald in the pros. i am just saying that there is always a way to get around one player. as for direct kicks, uh maybe you could set up a wall in the goal the other team will not even be able to pass the ball to ol ronald because they are terrible and the other team will just intercept it. he takes over professional games with the help of professionals, now if he wants a one-two it won't happen or someone to make a run to give him a little more space, sorry not their if anything they will get in the way. so i still think that a good team, let's say any team going to the state tournament would beat the worst team possible with ronald. ronald means ronaldinho

no we haven't, bearden plays them on the 13th. um i think that if they both played their very best game that Bearden is better, but bearden this year has proved to not be very consistent so i say it could go either way.

haha i am replying to my own post. bearden won 2-0. The jv played for the first 20 minutes, with the exception of hinkle and phil, they held their own for awhile but did not score. then varsity went in, scores were by Nathan Zivi assisted by actually i forgot, probly because he beat 2/3 defenders by himself to socre. second goal was scored by a freshman named erin assisted by Rico. Oak Ridge looked well young, but pretty good, they had some good looks at goal, but i guess they leaned back because most of the shots went over the goal, if they could fix that...

um thanks for the compliment. i believe you have already criticized my long posts; maybe you should try something new. are you ever going to answer my questions? or do you know you are caught in the wrong either way and do not want to fess up? no, i got the whole story today, its like this, as of right now the only original starters that have a for sure starting position are phil andrea who is a defender, and Andew Hinkle who is a captain. The others we do not know yet, so i am not going to list any of the maybe's. We will all have to just sit back and see what happens (well frankly we do not have to because this is America and we have the right to not sit back and see, but lets say if you want to see you may because i am going to be at the game).

i was not at this game but heard that maryville outplayed them, i also heard that bearden did not play well, but hey, tough. Bearden is going to have to get it together so that they can pull out some wins consistently against good teams, they can in my opinion if they play as a team. I hear that Coach Turner is so mad that the starting Bearden squad will not be starting in their game friday against Oak Ridge. good luck to Maryville this year, they play farragut on the 10th, i believe that is monday.

um are you kidding? you were just talking about a cute smelly guy before that you talked about some kid shooting a hard ball and knocking out both the catholic coaches so Hoya has to run to help out and the "sleeping giant" leads them to victory. so please don't criticize other people's posts when your own are so wonderlandish. i am sure that a prediction of 17-9 is more useful than a smelly cute guy, and it is more believable (although not that believable in itself) than both catholic coaches getting knocked out by 2 kicked soccer balls in the same night, then Hoya helping out and in the second half Catholic scores 3 goals one from doug, joey, and chase. my prediction is catholic will win 2-1.

no, one person cannot beat a team. all you would have to do is just pass, simple. If this fella chases he will get tired, if he doesn't you score. all you have to do is take your time, possess the ball all that you possibly can, and ronaldinho will get the ball very seldom. On defense put 5 people on him 2 everywhere he goes and then supporters to them (that can go elsewhere if need be). Sorry but one guy with constant pressure from two people and then supporters to them will not get very far, if those players just are on him every second not letting loose, I am sure that he will still score, but you can score more than he can. I have had professional players as trainers/coaches and they would play with us and the team still found a way to negate their fantastic abilities, just by not allowing them in the play of the game. of course if he does make it into the play like off kick-offs then it is probably time for a trip. my opinion. now if he played on the team from the beginning of the season, then yes i believe he could take thim and win state because he would teach the players how to use him, and how to make runs, so that if you forget about the rest of the team, then they might slip one in, and also how to defend when he can't make it back there.

i have no one to worry about because i am not playing. and besides if i was playing i would have no reason to worry about BGA because i would be playing for Bearden and bearden never plays BGA. man i should get out more often if i couldn't even connect the one word posts to volleyball. one more question how did it sound like i was ever worried about father ryan in the first place? manu721 are those posts by the same person?
