Just a little insight. Since 1969 Greeneville and Elizabethton have played 41 times with Elizabethton leading the series 21-20! Very few games were every blowouts with most being within 2 touchdowns! Just some fun facts

Don't hand everybody that happy horse crap of why Witten canceled the series because you all Gods of football! It's not like Elizabethton has never beat the devils! For the love of Football please stop thinking you all invented football! Also check your non conference against ours. Maybe that's why we dropped you just to get an easier week since TSSAA doesn't pay attention to tough schedules. Also the Devils are a really good football team but not great! I've seen great at the Texas high school playoffs and no one in our area could score. So ride that crapping horse as long as possible because the sun don't shine on the same dogs but everyday! Oh and keep taking us lightly we like it.

Seriously poppa your going bring up a jamboree from 11 weeks ago? Both teams are totally different now. South has the edge in passing and EHS has the edge in rushing. Both can score fast and often. Both defend very well although EHS has been weak at times on pass defense! This game will be a gut check for both as they have been playing cupcakes the last couple weeks! Let's hope for a clean and safe game and hope it's 4 quarters of tight football with good refs! My prediction is 31-28! Not sure who has 31 or who has 28 but time will tell! Hard fought game on both sides! Cyclones never gave up, refs were horrible as far as spotting ball and not knowing the rules! But the worst two things was the music dropping the F bomb twice during warm ups and the whole Science Hill team running to our sidelines taughting our team and fans after barely winning! Classless

Ive read all the comments on both sides now and even some footballs fans that have no dog in the race, my conclusion is that the Cyclones need a miracle to beat CAK to go by the posts on here. But here is the reality!All of are hopes and dreams for both these teams are in the hands of teenagers. Not coaches,parents,fans or ball boys(sideline Brown) ha! E-Town inside joke! It all falls to a bunch of teenagers and we all know how much faith to put in teenagers! So with that said I would bet a nickel on either team! But heres to all those KIDS hopes and dreams. I hope the Cyclones dont have your mind set! Cause if they do it is for sure a trap game. You already have us in the second round without the first day of practice! And last time I looked Turner was far from 100%. And do you really put all our hopes on a freshman back who looked good one game against a terrible team. Actually they do practice the wildcat at practice. #20 has got more problems than fumbles and some he has no control over. These kids need to hold themselves accountable to eachother. Always be able to look at the guy next to you and be able to say I gave it all I had. And your right we have no leaders and that is a problem I dont know how to fix.we will be fine, just have to come together as one.

Wow how your attitude toward this team has changed. Earlier this year we were the best thing since sliced bread, now you are knit pickin the coaches. And no we shouldnt have won every game, to many mistakes. I agree we could have won all of them, but face it North steam rolled us. I agree we need to let them play through mistakes. But coaches set a game plan and feel it will work and its hard to change when its always worked. Take a look at 5,6,7 years ago and tell me we are not better. These coaches have taken us further than any other coaches. Everyone makes great calls on Saturday morning, but in the heat of battle you have 25 seconds to make the next call.Plus we dont know how the kids react when told to do something different in adjustments. Last I heard she was injured with a pulled groin! So may have a freshman kicker this week unless she is better!Im telling everyone dont put much stock in the North game it was a fluke, the stars aligned for North and they took advantage of it. But remember AE beat Alcoa to. We will see North again about Nov.! South will be tough no matter how bad they are suppose to be. When I played they sucked and it was always a hard hitting, tough game. They take Rebel pride just like we take Cyclone pride.

Wow didnt see that coming! Cyclones got man handled. We couldnt get off blocks and couldnt tackle. North had a few things bounce there way such as fumble on 3rd down bounceing to the QB. But all in all North took it to us. Cyclones have no leaders and seemed very unmotivated. Maybe this will wake them up! Here is the funny thing. Alcoa,CAK,AE,Milan,Elizabethton and all other 3a teams better focus on week 4 and not October! Alcoa lost! Big deal! You knew it was going to happen sometime.
