Actuall the last year with Coach Pittman was the 98 season when we lost to MBA in the semis. The next season we were 6-0 then we lost 4 games in a row. The first was to BA in Coach Pittman's first year there.

Well gobigred, back in the day when I played, there wasn't any lack of motivation for me to play football. The silver helmets, purple on purple uniform, the crest, etc. That really stinks if this years players weren't motivated.

I am putting this up so I can get to 200 posts. But anyway, why would collinwood people come on this thread? Oh I know! It's a slap in the face. But this stuff doesnt concern me.

I forgot about them beating Glencliff in 1999 in the first game of the season. Glencliff went to the Clinic Bowl that year. Interesting thing: We ended the 99, 00, and 01 seasons with 4 straigt losses. If we lose to BA tonight (I am sure we will) that makes us 1-18 in the last 19 games against Super 7 opponents. Overall we are 16-21(if you include tonights loss) in the Super 7. *I inlcuded playoff games in the above stuff. [Edited by RyanRowdy on 11-1-02 8:27P]

Well, I guess it's time for me to take a break from shooting birds at the airport to post my thoughts on this subject. Ryan had one good year? Well, they were region champs in '95 and '96. They beat Beech in '95 when Beech was the #1 team in the state. In '96 they beat Pearl-Cohn, who would go on to win the championship. And in 95 and 96 they lost in the quarter-finals. About RB N. Myers, he wasn't even on the team last year. Comparing JP II's and Ryan athletic facilities, well hmmm... Maybe that new libray and theater will help Ryan. Coaching. Yes there is room for improvement.
