Watched a good game Friday night Spring Hill vs Page. Both pitchers did an outstanding job. Garrett fought hard and the young Page team made some outstanding plays to back him up. Nice stop by the 1st baseman probably saved a run. Good luck to both teams and all of the boys going on to play college ball.

Your right that Indy has a solid group of 8th graders coming up. Their win loss record for the season is either 19-2 or 20-2. Indy will only have some of those 8th graders for one year and then a lot of the talent will be zoned to the new high school.

Indy won in OT. Indy fans were loud, chanting against Coach Henrie and Chad Farbman. Chad sunk a 3 at the end of regulation to put them into OT. Both teams fought hard. It was a good game.

Garrett Gross, Page Middle, had either 16 or 17 against East Hickman. No walks, one hit, no runs scored.

Centennial/Independence beat Baylor this weekend at Baylor in OT 9-8. It was a hard fought matchup with Baylor scoring with less than 15 seconds left to tie and send it into OT. Great effort by both teams.

Isn't Josh Lee only a junior? He can't be signed with Vandy yet. That is what I meant by being premature. Just seems to put a lot of pressure on the kid when everytime his name is mentioned the Vandy Commitment thing is also mentioned. It would make more sense if he was a senior.

Kind of feel sorry for the kid they way the VANDY COMMITMENT thing has been smeared all over everything you read about Independence. Isn't it a little bit premature?

Just came from the Page vs East Hickman game. The final score was 5-0 Page wins. Garrett Gross had 16 strikeouts, no walks, one hit. Garrett threw a great game. The kid from East Hickman did a good job on the mound also.

Centennial beat Franklin tonight 11-10.

Centennial/Independence have gotten better and the players showed a lot of class and it comes from the coach on down.

Dickson County wins in OT. Think the score was 42-35.

Yes, just talked to a parent that was there. It was a high scoring game with Centennial winning in the final seconds.
