All I know is the Bradley Bears lost their first game last night in overtime. They won this morning and are playing again right now. If they lose again they are out.

The Bearettes were down by 11(I think) at half time. We were down most of the game. Oakland came out of the gate running the 3rd quarter but we just started pressing them then got within one of them. On an inbound play we go for the steal and Kristen gets her hand on it and knocks it away from the girl.Lindsey scores two then we nail our next few foul shots they scored a 3 so we end up winning by 6. Brandi had some good passes. She seemed to score alot but I'm not sure how much. Kristen didn't score much but played good defense. Ryan Harris was there from the Banner so it will probably be in todays paper or Sunday. I was just so excited we won by a comeback that my facts are blurry It was a great game and a much needed win. Oaklands 6'4" girl fouled out right at the last then kristen did (Her calls were bad though).Tambra made alot of foul shots that put us back in the game.The boys lost (VERY exciting game) Tim Hobbs dislocated his elbow.

Don't forget Tim Hobbs' buzzer have court shot right before have time. It was shot around the same spot as the other teams half court lob. It was an exciting, nail bitting game. Tim dislocated his elbow during the second half. Better luck tomorrow Bears!

What about Sarah Landers? How is she doing this year?

I'd have to say that Bradley could easily win if they make smart shots and cut down their turnovers. They aren't playing "together" right now. Soon as they learn there are 5 girls on the floor and they start looking for the open girl then I think the Bearettes will be unstopable.

Go Bears!! They may not have any Seniors but they have awesome Juniors & Sophomores!

In all fairness to Coach Harlow...He did warn the girls that they were probably gonna draw a charge with 3 seconds to go in the Bradley/Riverdale game. For whatever reason, we messed up. It was a good game. Bradley came from behind and really should have won but....oh well. In the Tenn. High game, No. 14 just came alive and couldn't miss a shot! We should have won that game to but we had way too many turnovers. I think the girls will get it together. They are working hard and Coach Harlow knows how to get the best out of each player. I was proud of my daughter in the Tenn High game but like I said before, it takes the whole "team" playing well to win...too many turnovers just made the 2nd half embarassing.... The TN Players 14U team that won 3rd in the AAU Nationals 2 years ago. She has enjoyed playing with all the girls on every team she has been on but I just think that group of girls played well together.

I agree with your post. My daughter has played with several different AAU teams and alot of talented Juniors but I can only think of one team in particular that seemed to really mesh together and play extremely well together. It takes talent to win but I think more importantly it takes a team playing "together".

My personal opinion,in no particular order, the girls from the TN Players, 2 years ago are a bunch of talented Juniors! Sade Buley (South Doyle) Kristen Reynolds (Bradley Central) Fallon Lee (McMinn Central) Cara Reed (Cookeville) Tina Broyhill (Seiver Co.) Melissa Uner(Seiver Co.) Katrina Beechboard "KB" (Livingston) Kayla Russell (Seiver Co.) Sarah Landers (Maryville) Some other Juniors that are on top of their game (I think) are Alex Fuller, Ashleigh Newman, Honna Housley, Tiffany Buckaloo,Ashley Hardaway and I could probably sit and think of many more. Seems like we have received alot of transfer players this year. Not just in basketball but volleyball had a few....

I just wanted to clear something up....It's Bradley Central, not Bradley County....For some reason that mistake is made over and over.... Go Bearettes!

Thank you for the nice comments about Kristen. She loves the game and is committed to be a team player. She is smart enough to give the ball to the open girl and also the girl that is "on" in any particular game. She has a nice shot though. It would be nice to see her shoot more.

Sounds like not many have much faith in our girls team this year. Yeah, they are young, but they also have the talent and several girls have the potential to be "standouts". Don't forget the Juniors. They will be giving 100%. I agree, it is too early to predict who will win District.

The Bearettes are gonna have to play tough this year but I have faith in the girls to get the job done. Who would have thought they would have won the district last year?? Coach Harlow will make it an interesting season...

Bradley will have a tough schedule this year but it should be exciting. If the girls play "together" and make it pretty far then they will have alot to be proud of. Go BEARETTES! The "Cothran" kid is Natalia Cothran from Baylor...no one knows for sure what will happen there...It would be an asset to get her at Bradley...she is a solid 5 spot player....It's funny how certain people on here seem to know so much about what "someone" is going to do before the "someone" knows themselves

I was just wondering if someone would be taking pictures of the Elite while they are in Kansas? My daughter is there and I was just curious....

Since Joecool said something about Sarah's name being spelled wrong...I guess I will tell you that it is Kristen (Kris 10)....not Kristin....š
