  1. Madison Academic beat Dyersburg 2-0
  2. 2-0 Madison... dont wanna argue about the game, but thats the result and thats how it should have been
  3. Honestly i dont know what happened in dyersburg's other game, but today's game against Madison was rediculous. They had 1 ref. and 2 parents from dyersburg as the sideline ref's. And the referee didnt lose the game for dyersburg, they had 2 chances in the whole game while madison had about two hand fulls of chances... there is no way he costed you guys anything sorry to say... it was out of control... dirty fouls everywhere and soccer is meant to be played with passion, but there has to be a line... when a player is clearing a ball and a forward or another player just runs over him as he is clearing it and not going for the ball is just rediculous. Sorry to say it, but they costed you nothing in today's game. They were just plain woeful
  4. 1-1 Sheffield had about 1 chance on goal in the whole game and scored off a corner kick in the first half... madison missed 3 sitters in front of goal in the first half... second half was all madison, they had 2 goals called back, so EASY chances to score, but left it late with a free kick from their center mid... horrible field, decent team and really good sportsmanship... quite enjoyable
  5. Thats all Madison did was mark Brian Castro(#7) and they honestly didnt have to much of a problem with him... just some stupid goals at the back, but a very beatable team...
  6. Fabulous... thats perfect news... So glad we can play on regulation size fields and goals... that always helps /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />
  7. not to keep making excuses, because we lost, but again we were missing 2 players due to a choir trip that they were required to go on... and 1 of them was our starting forward, which left us with 13 players on thursday, which is tough to make any subs with... but a win is a win... it was still close
  8. i NEVER said it wasnt a win, because it was and i dont disagree with that, but i was only stating that it was a close game... You guys lost 2 players.... we lost about 11-13, dont remember the exact number, so to even be close this year was a good game for madison i think, because you guys lost 2 players and gained 1
  9. they dont match up to usj or northside in my opinion, but they have all their players back, brandon is back now...
  10. Martin beat Madison 1-0... close game...
  11. hey BigG i have a question... how are the Pifer's doing? is Christo playing this year for you guys?... just curious because i have not heard much about them since they moved
  12. No madison didnt blow them out, but the field was the only thing that prevented them from doing so... covington only had maybe 1 or 2 shots in the game... they didnt threaten at all, infact hardly were in the madison half, but madison didnt put their chances away
  13. Christian Kurth and Nick DeSio play club soccer in memphis for MFC
  14. Memphis has teams like collierville, houston, germantown, CBHS... they are definately better teams that in jackson and the surrounding areas, but there are good players in the west besides in memphis... 2 players from jackson play in memphis for travel with all the other guys in memphis, so there is talent... so unless you see or know that there is no talent for a fact... watch what you say...
  15. honestly... their field was as big as a play sand box... no room to do anything which killed madison, and their field was gigantic clumps of dirt... unreal field... i think they had 1 shot in the whole game... it wasn't even fare... madison dominated... but it happens... covington are one of those teams that pack everything in the center of the field, and on a tiny field its impossible to play... not a strong team, but the field was unreasonable to play on
  16. I honestly think Haywood will beat Mcnairy... not favoring anyone, but haywood has 2 or 3 kids with some really good skill... i think haywood will be in the regional finals with Madison... but again, these are just a matter of opinions... where do you play chiplay? And answering Joshua's question, you guys have a better record right now, but i think it will be Haywood who will beat you guys, and thats how my prediction is at the end of the season... just opinion... not fact, so we will just have to wait and see... good luck
  17. looking forward to playing you guys in district/regionals... good luck the rest of the season...
  18. After Madison beat haywood, and seeing how much talent haywood had i think it will finish: Madison Haywood Sheffield and Mcnairy in this spot i dunno how they do it Covington Crockette Southside Ripley
  19. He didnt even play against you guys the first game this season and since then madison has only lossed to usj, so he has helped their performances... and brian castro is very good on the ball, but didnt get a chance to do much against madison with nick desio and mason peters taking turns man marking him
  20. uh there are quite a few im sure... just some of the ones i know of... mason peters from madison, nick desio from madison, christian kurth from usj, pedro v. from northside, carlos from northside, and josh baltz from westview... there are more, those are just the ones off the top of my head
  21. madison downed haywood 5-3 and could have been a lot worse than that...
  22. Madison 6-0 Southside after 55 minutes then rained out...
  23. So what was the final score to this game?
  24. i really dont think our keeper had 17 saves... unless they counted catching crosses as being saves, then there is no way he had 17... maximum about 10 and usj's keeper had only about 3 saves, but madison hit the bar twice, shot over from close range twice and hit the side netting so they had chances, but didnt put it on goal... i mean it was no doubt that usj was better, but they arent THAT good
