  1. I think a tie would be a fair result to both Dyersburg, and Madison. I think one of the teams will win 2-1, can't decide which.
  2. Looks like shffield got the better end of this result according to Madisonlb's assesment. Not a bad result for madison either. Some games just turn out this way.
  3. My mistake, thanks anyway!
  4. They didn't look good at all when he didnt have the ball.Very haphazard defendng. We should have man marked him earlier in the game.
  5. Number seven I dont know his name was their flow, He was fast and had magnificent ball control and passing. He created every chance they got. We had 17 shots on goal, but just couldnt capitalize on our chances. So id say it would be just a few players inspiring their team. They dont have a very quick or talented defense, but have a few good mids and strikers. If number 7 was marked out, however, Haywood would be very beatable.
  6. Dyersburg 8 Milan 1, B team played the entire second half. Great tune up game for us, we play madison on thursday. What position do you play for northside?
  7. I believe that time should be added to every game in a tie. 0-0 ties make for a very boring day so hopefully more time could give a team a goal.
  8. They beat us two to one, but we were much better then that. I am not going to make excuses for my team, Haywood came to play, and play they did, their number seven is without a doubt the ome of the most dangerous players I've faced as a defender. He was superb throughout the match. I will let others make their own conclusions about the game, but be warned madison, we are preparing for you and I know for a fact this game matters a lot to me and my teamates. A few of us are skipping an academic honors banquet to play. Its never been easy to win on trojan ground, and you'll find it just as difficult this time. P.S. (It think the game will tie 2-2) Dyersburgs field is nice so we'll make it up to yal
  9. I agree with your prediction, 2-1 sheffiled's the way I think it will end. If Madison win though it wont be by much.
  10. Northside barely lost to USJ who is ranked second on eurosport and Fifth on yours. I believe they should replace FRA and westview should replace Pidgeon forge. Teams from the wast are playing harder teams from across the state, and larger schools also, so just because we are in west TN doesnt mean we dont have good talented teams. Look at what USJ has done to those teams. As far as I know they are still undefeated. I am by no means a USJ fan but I see them getting to state semis at the least.
  11. I think Westview and northside both deserve to be in the top ten. They have excellent records.
  12. I think they are close, they beat dyersburg, haywood and madison already. They can definatly challenge them. I heard they still had a really good injured player too.
  13. Memphis and jackson are about it though, anyone elsen who wants to play club soccer is in for a drive!
  14. Covington may not be winnimg a lot of games, but they have not really been blown away either. Dyersburg and brighton beat them by 2
  15. I saw the most horrible officiating ever at the Dyersbrug Brighton Game. The other team was awarded a free kick 10 yards outside the box. I ran and stood next to the ball. They asked for ten yards the ref ran over and began counting. before he had finished the player took the kick and scored. Our keeper was setting his wall. The rule is if you ask for ten, u have to wait for the whistle, but they allowed the goal to stand. Next our keeper ran out and grabbed a through ball. They kicked him in the head and he dropped the ball. they kciked in for the goal. When our captain tried to talk to te ref, they waved him away. Next a classic bad offides. the ref was out of position at halfway while the last defender was about 10 yards away. The man was 8 yards offsides, we have video and he admitted it after the game. But of course, to the referee, he was completley onsides. He threatened to card our captain when he asked the ref whcih player kept him on. The ref said he didnt know who kept him onsides. We next had 3 players get hurt from the refs allowing to much contact. when our players started playing more physically, we had 2 yellow given without warning. I wa carded for a normal challange with only 1 prior foul. When our goalkeeper had been kicked for the second time I went in for him in goal. I ran up to get a through ball and was kciked in the head by a brighton foreward. I got knocked silly and hit the ground. THE REF ALLOWED PLAY TO COTINUE WITH A HEAD INJURY. He said he didnt want to desturb the play or something like that. HE waited about 2 min to stop play. I could have broken my neck or cheekbone. A head injury is supposed to be an automatic sop. I was lucky to get off with a badly brusied face. We have three players who will have to go to rehab after this game and dyersburg will NOT be playing them or any other memphis teams again. We have a video of the match and are sending it into TSSAA. Two keeps getting kicked in the head 3 times and three players injured shows how well the refs kept the game in control. TSSAA complains about not having enough refs. But myself and 3 in jured teamates would much rather no have played due to lack of refs then to get hurt in a uncontrolled game.

    Red cards

I have seen some reds cards that have resulted in a ban and fine, yet I have seen others where there was no ban or fine, and the team just had to play with 10 men. Is there an offical rule for this or is it a indiviual choice for the ref?
  17. USJ will have a relatively easy route to state if past scores are any indication, they already defeated Madison, JCS and Northside, who are the best teams in their district. While these teams can challenge USJ, in all probability they will win district 13 and go on to region. The only team in our region that I think can challenge USJ is Northside, who USJ beat 2-1. Martin and Dyersburg will probably cruise to first and second in district 14, but I doubt either team would seriously trouble them. Keeping in mind that any team can be beaten by anybody, I think USJ will be undefeated in district and region Play. State will hold the real challenges to USJ. Hope I don't offend any one, but thats how I see it.
  18. David scored against Ripley, Gibson County, Liberty, and Covington. The only team we have failed to score on is Martin. Evan Jones, seth coleman, and kyle youmans have scored the other 8 goals. Yeah we played gibson, dave had an awesome thirty yard shot, and he also scored apenalty that game. We are going to play brighton, haywood, and jcs soon, then we'll see what our offense is made of. Dyersburg 6 Gibson 1, Dyersburg 7 Ripley 1, Dyersburg 4 Covington 2, Dyersburg 3 Liberty 2, Dyersburg 0 Westview 2
  19. David grueser from dyersburg has 12 goals in the regular season so far.
  20. Liberty's team was pretty big, they use their size well mostly, except that i had to sit 15 min of the game on the sideline with a bloody nose from an elbow!
  21. Jake Heathcott, Walter Vowell, and Josh Windle have played well and started a lot of games for dyersburg this year.
  22. We barely finished our game against liberty, that was a pretty bad storm to have to drive back to d-burg through! Liberty played some nice soccer, but couldn't create enough chances. Dyersburg 3 Liberty 2. This is the third win this season where we have come back from one down!
  23. Dyersburg won 3-2 against Liberty.
  24. I think we have learned from last year not to undersitemate USJ. They have fine players and good coaching. They can show the state that the west can compete just as well as the rest of the state.
