  1. Not giving the boys from Blackman, CPA, CAK, Beardon thier props uh? I know where ya live scout!! Kidding, I am sure you didn't mean to leave the rest of those boys off.
  2. I second Paul Gilbert. Along with Jordon, James and Peyton are probably the top goalies in the state.
  3. Paul Gilbert from Blackman is very good as well.
  4. TNFC also played a man down most of the second half during the Knoxville game. Injuries have over come them, but they were somewhat healthy for the Region III Premier League game Nov 11, where they won 3-0 against the Crush.
  5. Just wondering on the boys side how our Tennessee Teams will do at Region III Championships? Here are the teams: U14B - Express 92 Chattanooga Coach Dean Wilson U15B - KFC Liverpool Knoxville Coach Scott Muir U16B - KFC Arsenal Knoxville Coach Kyle McCoy U17B - Diadora Impact Knoxville Coach Mike McLean U18B - TNFC 88 Boys Blue Franklin Coach Sandy Pollock
  6. Richard Siegel is the person that owned the land that Siegel Park, Siegel Middle and High School were built on. He nad his family donated this land to the city.
  7. One out of 4 that's terrible. Glad I don't bet!
  8. Thanks. Farragut was a very good team, I enjoyed watching them. I will say that it might not have made a difference, but they were missing their starting defensive back (stomach virus) and starting midfielder(pulled hamstring). It force them to put thier striker in the midfield, but I don't think it would have mattered. Farragut was very good, it was the first time I got to watch them. Good luck to them.
  9. AAA Hendersonville 3 Houston 1 Riverdale 2 Farragut 1 Ooltewah 2 Ridgeway 0 Brentwood 3 Bearden 1
  10. They can be beat, they are overcoming some injuries right now. Hendersonville sure is peaking at the right time. As someone said, anybody can beat anybody once you get to the Top 8.
  11. What do people know about this Academy and is it worth looking into, even if your son plays with a quality team that had quality coaching and that goes to major tournaments? http://www.npsasoccer.com/home.htm
  12. quote: soccermadness "neither riverdale nor blackman last year, beat a region winner to advance to the state. mcminn and soddy both lost in the region." You are correct, but Blackman did beat Germantown in the quarters who was the Region 8 Winner, but that's old news.
  13. Park is pretty much open the entire time. Can't wait for the games tomorrow and tonight, glad it's in my hometown, but wish we were playing as well!
  14. Why do you say that they/we have week region, because you can't get out of yours? That's pretty week to say, I guess the regions we play and then got pass state are week as well since Riverdale this year and Blackman last year beat those region winners. I think a lot of players would disagree with you. Let's not make it personal on here. I just disagreed with you about Riverdale being a kick and run and since I have watch them a lot more than you, I felt that my opinion was more concrete. Actually the goals that Riverdale have scored since region and districts have started were mostly through balls from the midfield, only a couple here adn there were long balls, which indicates possession. You'll just have to see Wed for yourself, because your opinion does count, because maybe you did see them early in the year and that's what they did, I am not one discount anyone's opinion. Heck I might be eating crow after Wed night, but that's okay.
  15. You have no idea what you are talking about, Riverdale plays possession soccer, first of all we played them twice this year and secondly I have watch them over the past three years. Coach Arman does not play that way.
  16. There are small metal bleachers, probably not enough for each game and yes chairs can and are brought to the complex. FYI, you are really going to be playing on great fields! Congratulations to everyone who made it!!
  17. 80% of the time, uh, you are off your rocket dude. You don't score 3 goals and the other team have possession 80% of the time, get your Rose Colored glasses off. I was at the game, you probably had possession more of the game, but it was probably more like 55% McMinn to 45% Riverdale, mainly because of the come out and get them in the second half the first 10 minutes and the end of the second half, win Riverdale went to a defensice stance only. The rest of the time it was 50% possession ball by both teams. I was giving an overall assessment of Riverdale, not the game between McMinn and Riverdale, because someone ask who Riverdale was. I guess you miss that. You cannot judge a team that you have not watched on a consistent basis and I have watch Riverdale all year long. Lets say this, I predict Riverdale is going to win, but it could go either way, base soley on goals scored against and goals allowed for each team. Just like last year for the distrcit 7 Team (Blackman), everyone said Soddy Daisy was going to beat us (won 2-1), then we get to state and everyone, including the Germantown newspaper said, I believe the quote in the newspaper was "easy time with Blackman," (won 3-1). Now there were predictions of a walk through to state by McMinn and Ooltewah, only half right. Hopefully people will start giving a a little respect to Riverdale. I am sure Farrugut is a very good team, you don't have a record like that and not be a good team, but they sure have allowed a lot of goals this year, and I think personally that defense wins games in soccer, which is why you see 2-1 games or 1-0 games once you get to the state level. We'll see, I think it's going to be a great game, no matter who wins.
  18. Ditto on the sportsmanship and the way both teams played the entire game. Riverdale vs McMinn
  19. I guess you didn't see my comments, because I said I had not seen farragut play and I based my prediction off of goals scored and scored against on each team. I have only watch Riverdale, but I have watch them most of the year.
  20. Riverdale is a solid team from front to back and especially in the back. They also have a very good striker in Shane Rollins and a very good goalie. I think they play a 4-4-2. It will be difficult to get buy them in the back. They possess the ball very well and will kind of feel you out in the first half. Good team, that has a very good shot to go all the way, however, they have a tough bracket facing number 6 Farragut, then a hot hot team in Hendersonville. It's going to be interesting.
  21. I haven't seen Farragut play, but I think it will be close. Only say this because of the statistics of goals allowed and goals scored for each team. Riverdale 2 - Farragut - 1
  22. Who is this by the way. Glad Jose is fine.
