Ensworth 62 Pope John Paul II 47 Briarcrest 42 GPS 47 Final is a classic state finals toss up between two very good teams.

It looks like its wide open. Its as close as its been in several years. Check back in a couple of weeks. BA has the most experience returning this year. Could be there year?

They have much more balance with three or four palyers who can get 15 points and 10 rebounds a night. They will smother teams defenisively.

Really Ensworth! They are young and you better beat them early. Because if they stay healthy they will be hard to beat in next spring. The lost of Alsmiller and Carpenter will be great, but Slay and Byner are two of the best forwards returning and Swett is one of the best point guards who can lock down the other teams best scorer. They play defense as well as anybody in the State. I think you will see another Riverdale vs. Mt. Juliet State Championship. Clarksville is very very good.

So, anyone who was there...is this pretty much how it went down? Was the game ever close in the 2nd half? Congrats to Ensworth. They needed to win it with this team. They should still be solid next year, but I can't see them being as dominant without Carpenter and Allsmiller. It was never close, total domination. As to next year, they will re-load quickly. Two state titles in a five year old school. They know how to re-load. Trust me they will be just fine. They have the best returning players next year. Christina Slay(tournament mvp), so. Kyara Byner, so. Justice Swett(Started at point guard all season) Fr. and Paige Parker, Fr. all returning and all very good and getting better. Should win it all again.

I have seen most of the girls listed on this site play for several years. Everything you hear is true, it may be the most talented group of freshman to play in the mid-state in a long time. You can really take your pick because they are all that good. The crazy part is there is even more girls to add to the list. Paige Parker is on the list and she will play with Justice on Ensworths team as a freshman. It will be an exciting four years.

Justice Swett is the best freshman is the state. She's the starting point guard TN Team Pride 13 under Nationals runner up. She has started for this team for the last 5 years with a national championship under her belt. She played in the state championship game for Ensworth as an 8th grader.

12u playing up for 13u team looking to move back for the rest of the summer. Best at 2nd base but can play SS and any outfield position.

I think it depends on the team she is playing on. My daugher played up when she was 8 on a 10 under team but the team was average. Then when she turned 9 she played with her age on a great team and it was great for her. We finish 3rd in the nation that year and won the Nationals as 10's. So if she lives in Middle Tn and can really play there are teams in her age group that would be great for her.

No Tennessee Team Pride did not add any players. They played with the same roster all year. Go Pride lets go back to back.

As far I know this is the first time for 10u and first time for Team Pride in any age group.

I saw all nine games and the Tennesse team pride was amazing. They had everything clicking. I am very proud of you girls.

The Glory also beat the TN Ladies. Where do believe the Xtreme would have finished if they would have had there full team healthy. I would love to see a play day with all of the teams in the top four plus the Glory. I still believe Team Pride is #1 by far, and then Glory, Ladies, Elite and Xtreme. At the State TP was not completly healthy. This is a great 10u group who will complete agianst each other for years to come. Good luck to all the teams
