Well Digger is pretty ticked off b/c he won't be able to watch it. We are so proud of and excited for the ENTIRE Jo Byrns community,coaches and families for their unconditional support of their BOYS. And we are ecstatic and more proud for the players, the 2008 Jo Byrns Red Devil High School Football Team which has played their way into the HISTORY books and earned the right to compete for the GOLD BALL in the Big Bowl Game in the Boro'. KJo lives by this........Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take - but by the moments that take our breaths away. You tell those boys' to let this moment take their breaths away.........at the end of 4th quarter when the horn blows and THEY HAVE WON!!! I have asked CoachT to dump the Gulf Shores game off our schedule. When he has a chance, I am sure that he will do so....

Hmm...thought I attended the game between JB & CW last night...."intentionally trying to hurt a player", "sorry sportsmanship"? You must have attended a different game....the game I watched had two great teams playing 'good ole football'. "jb and there kidds n trucks didnt show crap"....Predarat thought differently. The entire county is 'hyped' about Friday nights game......Atmosphere is indescribable!! Hope that the weather cooperates and the field is in great condition for this re-match. Pray that both teams play well, display mutual sportsmanship and above all remain injury free. Both teams need to be commended.....it took a lot of hard work, dedication and effort for them to reach this level. ***Hendricks leads team to yet another Victory! Go JACKETS!

I agree completely....I was there when Coach Pigue coached and I do not recall ever hearing of him having behavioral issues on his team.....he just took care of any of his issues before they became problems. By doing so, he gained the respect of his players, coaching staff and parents. The game should be a good one....good luck to both teams. My pick: Springfield wins
