  1. That's what we 'outsiders' have known for years, but what ODP has always denied. It's the same with any sport, though, not just soccer. Life is political.
  2. It seems like there really aren't many teams out there to go to, though. I think we've all established that TNFC's 90 team is the best D1 team in the state ( and possibly the world! ) but what other D1 teams are available? Is Brentwood DI or DII? What about Xtreme or MSC? I or II?
  3. I also think Blackman is overrated. They're a good team, true, but haven't shown much this season.
  4. Seriousoccer, I would have to agree with you there. You have to be a great player to get noticed for ODP, but sometimes being a great player isn't enough. You have to know the right people, too.
  5. Thanks for the information, and thanks for not trashing me completely for asking a legitimate question. I am seriously only trying to find a very competitive team to play for -- no hidden agenda, no axes to grind, no pots to stir.
  6. Honestly, I'm not trying to 'stir the pot' or start anything at all. That was just what I was told and I figured this was the place to find out the truth.
  7. That's just what a couple of people told me. I thought that I would check it out to see if they were right or if they were just trying to sway everyone toward another team. So, if TNFC has just picked up three new players, do you think the roster is already set in stone for next season?
  8. I have heard that TNFC's 90 team is on the way out. Is that true, and if so, who's up and coming? This is a serious question 'cause I'm looking for a new team.
  9. Joseph Muth, Austin Hayes, Danny Rayburn, Cory Willis, Patrick Compton---all good.
  10. I agree. Ralph Lundy is good, UAB is pretty marginal. I heard that Indiana wasn't too impressive, either. Bolivia might be too much of a trip for most people---it better be worth it!
  11. How will that work for training sessions? I mean, it's quite a commute from Knoxville to Franklin 3 to 4 times per week.
  12. It could be. There is also a strong group of 91's that will be making an impact during the next 2-3 years.
  13. Teams fall apart as the players get older...it's a proven fact. I don't think any blame can be placed on any coach or coaches. Players outgrow their teams, and teams outgrow their players. It happens, and when it happens, people have to move on and find a better fit for their skill level. Everyone just has to understand that these things are not personal and in no way should reflect poorly on the team and coaches that are being left behind.
  14. James Holt - GK Cory Willis - Defender Austin Hayes - Defender Patrick Compton - Defender Griffin Tuggle - Sweeper Dan Campbell - Midfield Jasper Driskill - Midfield Jose Cruz - Midfield Micah Morrissey - Midfield Shane Rollins - Forward Matt Reed- Forward
