i think you have a good point in the half court wayne county has the advantage and in an up and down game mt pleasant has the advantage but the big key for wayne county is there big guy playing tough and controling the boards if they do that then they can dictate pace . do that and wc will win not and they lose

in 1a wayne county brings back 3 starters next year, along with ther top 2 bench players both of which are freshmen, they also have a 6'2" fresh who will be in the mix next year as wayne county should move back to the top of 1a

wayne countys post players are 6'4" hammonds, 6'6" bryant (although he plays forward alot) and 6'5" doyle, ruddle is prob most consistent scorer down on the blocks at about 6'0"

i think the answer to that is quiet simple, as is the case with most 1a publics it runs in cycles, they just have a really good group of kids right now they have good guard play and have above avg. size for a 1a school wc can put 3 guys on the floor that have good size and skill in the low post most 1a teams cant match up with them very well

potete, melson, and daniel at wayne county are three very good fresh. potete and daniel are already over 6' and melson is pushing it

im a wayne co fan , and i cant make it to mp tonight but if mp were to win to night i am def going to jackson next week to see them play either usj, or jcs in the semi's would be nice to see a 6a team make it that far agin, collinwood was the last to do it , good luck tigers from the boro

hey 4nashprivates , all i know is that in 1982 mt pleasant won more games than dca did , so what that tells me is well heck it dont tell me anything just like the fact that you won 2 state champ. while you were in high school has nothing to do with anything friday night i know i know we here in reigon 6 are just lowly public schools and as it has been said on here many times were not quiet as smart as you private educated people but my opinion is mt can beat dca they might not but they are very capable oh and for you stembowhat i am not from mp dont really care much for mp but there is one thing for sure i would root for satan himself aginst a private

if im not mistaken for mp, wc, collinwood, perry co, ca, mcewn or nashville chirst. would be a better ride than , moore co, huntland or cascade

after the way wayne co shredded the dca defense on the ground , i think this will be a great game because mp can run the ball really well, and all in all have much better ath. than wc, the dca defesive line didnt pose much of a prob for wc, and mp line is better than wc's with all that being said the dca offensive line is the best ive seen , and wooden and fenwick and the other running back are best wc had faced should be a really good game mp needs to get off to a good start
