  1. It's ok...you probably didn't know. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of a research facility. I can see why you'd be irked about that. Was it a major facility? And by the way to you and anyone else that may read this, when the post is directly aimed at me, you can drop the 102081 off my name and just say Daniel, it'll be more of a conveniance *sp* and wouldn't take so long to type in.
  2. That last comment about MTSU was aimed directly at me since I'm headed to play for MTSU. Even though we are on a high school board I am greatly appreciative of the comments and the good luck wish. But if it would please everyone I'll drop the MTSU talk even though this game is over. I could understand people not wanting MTSU talk on a thread for next weeks game, but not for one that's already over...just my opinion, which I am intitled to, as well as everyone else that lives in this great country!!!!!!!!
  3. Hey I completley agree with what ya said. I wasn't trying to be on the harsh side of it, if I was, then I apologize. It just looked in my opinion that you were trying to be negative towards Coffee Co. and me being a big supporter of the Big Red I just had to take a stand towards it. I honestly never saw the quality of players MTSU has until I was watching some highlight clips off of their website. I must say the RB is quite impressive...McNair is his name I believe. Also, I wasn't trying to bash MTSU as I am a future Blue Raider myself. I've just got some things to work on before coming out there and trying out next fall for the baseball team. Good luck to the Blue Raiders for a successful season.
  4. Pretty good game. Final score...Coffee Co. 48 Cumberland Co. 7. I hope that's not considered running up the score, considering two of Coffee's TD's came off of fumbles. I'm glad Cumberland got a TD in this game, but hey what am I saying? Coffee played a great game, and in my opinion did a complete 360 compared to last weeks game. I hope they keep this momentum up going into the rest of the games and finish strong in the region. Good luck to Cumberland Co. for the rest of the year!!!
  5. Ok, seriously dude, your on a highschool board, no where on this particular forum will you see anything about MTSU. Go down to the NCAA thread if you wanna talk about them, cause honestly none of us care! We like discussing highschool football, which is something you obviously know nothing about. If Coffee County is getting worse, then how do you explain loosing to Brentwood by 3 pts compared to last year when Brentwood manhandled us. I'll go on the record and say that if Coffee Co. had a some of their key players of the injury list last week, the game would of been alot closer than what it was. And in case you weren't aware of this, alot of Coffee County's players read these posts and I'm sure that all your doing is lighting a fire under them to wanna prove morons like yourself that you have no clue about Coffee County football, that on any given day an upset can occur, and that any given day they will finally shut your negative thoughts up! Just a side note, I'm sure Oklahoma is going to blow MTSU out!
  6. hmmm...good question, but it's alot nicer than I would of said.
  7. Don't think this has been started yet so I went ahead and did it. The game is this Friday, and I dunno if it still stands or not but I've heard that the Jets have yet to put any points up on the board so far. I hope this game isn't too lopsided and we see a good game. I pick the Red Raiders to ground the Jets.
  8. 5A can correct me if I'm wrong on either of these Harris...not sure Irons...Cookeville Game Owens...Brentwood Game Adcock...I believe was during the offseason
  9. What's the latest news on Owens, Irons, and Harris?
  10. I have heard anything about it, 5A Fan would know more about that and so would CHSforlife. THose two being the sportscasters around Manchester stay on top of stuff like that. I just hope that it's not true. Though it could serve as a better oppertunity for teams to see what they'll be facing next year with Micheal Goins carryin the ball.
  11. Semper, where in the world do you get that Coffee Co. laid down for Cookeville? Our Red Raiders lay down for no one. They fought hard in this game but unfortunatley the turn over bug hit them as well as bad tackeling on Special Teams. If you call that laying down then buddy your watching the wrong sport.
  12. He wasn't actually referring to Gonzales. I think he's talking about some like Le Hawkins. He's good enough to play at the next level. Jake Nunley as a freshman last season racked up a few TD's at Austin Peay, of course I'm not really sure if Peay is D-1 or D-2...anyways, Gonzales can be a dominent player once he's at 100%. Then you've got Ryan Harris who can play at the next level once he's 100% as well. And in my opinion, Micheal Goins can play at the next level, but I understand he's got one or two more years on the high school level first, so who knows Coffee Co. may put some quality players on a D-1 team in the next few years.
  13. I've gotta root for my hometown team...the Raiders. Ttown is gonna have some momentum though as they are coming off a hard OT loss to Hillsboro. If Coffee Co. can keep the Turnovers to a minimum they have a great chance at winning. Plus Chass *sp* is a good QB for Ttown, contain him and now we're in business. Gonna be a great game, hugh crowd, and hopefully nothing happens like last year.
  14. I agree that this will be a good game, however I disagree that the Cavs will win. I say Coffee Co. pulls out the win 41-38...GO RAIDERS!!!!!
  15. Regardless of what you say or may think, Coffee Co. can beat anyone they play, they've just gotta stop making simple mistakes. In the end it's whoever makes the least mistakes. You could be "the real deal" team, and make tons of mistakes and loose to an underdog team like let's say, Warren Co. I believe this game is going to be a smash mouth knock out heavy weight battle between what could be the top teams of the reigon, not counting out Lincoln Co however. I'm lookin for a great game between two great teams.
  16. Holy Moly!!! When was the last time Coffee Co. scored 62 points? Has to be a big boost to this football team. One thing I noticed about Shelbyville is that once the season progresses their running game will be very good. However, the one bad thing I saw that eats me up is our Special Teams....golly gee you can't tackle someone with your arms...lol overall a really great game...looking forward to next weeks game against the Cavaliers.
  17. *OFF TOPIC* To all those from Coffee County that is going to the game tonight and would like to know who I am, then look for a guy in a white TN Titans Shirt, blue jeans, and either a khaki Titans hat or a Black and Orange TN Vols hat. If your like me then you'd sometimes like to know who your talking to. I at least know that two people know me. One of them may not be aware of it...right 5A fan... Anyways that's just something I wanted to say...See ya'll tonight!!
  18. I believe that if we play like we did minus the 1st half blunders, like we did against Brentwood, then I honestly believe that we have a good chance at winning. It's just how many turnovers we make and who has the biggest heart to win.
  19. Saw a sign yesterday in Manchester that 5A Fan would like....it stated: "Tickets $8 Popcorn $2 Beating Brentwood...Priceless" That would be nice to see, but I'm well aware from what I've read that Brentwood isn't going to be an easy task. So, I just hope that the best team comes out of this game injury free so they can focus on next weeks game as well as the other games that are regional and non-regional. Good luck to the Bruins and Good luck to the Mighty Red Raiders of Coffee County!
  20. I dunno about you other Raider fans, but after what I've heard from all the Coffee County scrimmages, I'm pretty stoked about this weeks game against Brentwood. This will be the only game I'll miss due to work, fortunatley I can rely on the radio. Other than that I'll be at all the games rootin on the mighty Red Raiders! GO BIG RED!!!!
  21. I never said what area that coach was going into. Looks like he's the new DB coach...read the statement above mine. I'm sure there is one at Grundy as well, should make that game pretty interesting seeing to former colleagues go head to head on the grid iron...
  22. From what I gather, Coffee is still in the Wing T...dunno about Wilson Central. Question though Otter, can you define what you mean by slim? I'm not sure I totally grasp what you mean by slim league...I see some quality teams that can be trouble for Coffee County as well as other schools in 5A...in my opinion that is.
  23. I can't really say much about this contest. I haven't seen any team play yet. But from what I've read about Coffee Co. and from what a friend of mine that went to Coffee's last scrimmage, I think we stand a good chance against Wilson Central. We'll just have to wait and see. And 5A, I totally agree with everything you've said in the Coffee County Football thread. I honestly believe that we have a real good chance at winning 8 games this year. I'd be happy with either 7 or 8 wins and making it past the 1st round of the playoff's this year...
  24. Yeah really, I mean afterall, he needs to ask you who he his...your the expert on him...lol tell Floied good luck this season for me. Is he on the freshmen team or varsity team? If he's on the freshmen team I know someone else that plays on that team.
  25. Man that stinks! I hope that they do get well soon. It's kinda hard to replace two good LB's, unless Coffee County is pretty deep in that area. Just as Sukrillux said...Get Well Soon Irons and Adcock.
