21 of the points, I think, came from the 2 and 3 string. Looked like the first string ran out of steam in the second quarter. Yea there is work to be done. Mostly blocking on the O line. Secondary got burnt a few times.

The Farragut scrimmage will be tougher for sure but last night is the shot in the arm the team needed.

The O looked a lot better last night!!! At every position. Hopefully things are starting jell. Step made a great over his head type catch. Long looked good. Brooks had a fumble at the end of a 18+yard run. Then he came right back with 2 solid back to back 15-20+yarders. McFall looked solid. But none of this could have happpened if the line didn't start blocking. Great job guys. I'm sure I have left a name or position out but you all played great. Keep on improving at this rate and there will a lot of upsets this season in your favor. Whose next on the scrimmage list?

The crap is over and done with. The team and county have put it in the past. Everyone else needs to as well. Bottom line: The coach is in charge and the last thing any locker room needs is a tape recorder.

The brite spots were the D line looked pretty good. Tarance got in the back field a few times. Yeary made it back there to and got a sack or two. Got burnt a few times on pass plays and sweeps. O line line well... don't seem to be handling the D like they should for the size they have. The brite spot there was Brooks who seemed to gain yardage every time he got the ball and did not have any fumbles. Maybe Tarance should be on the O line as well as quick as he is for his size. McFall completed a pass or two. 2nd string O looked good against their 2nd string D and moved the ball down the field. 2nd string D gave up a score. Fumbles were due to wet ball and not protecting it. Hanging out there to get smacked away. The biggest areas that need work are the O-line and secondary.

I concur on every thing but MO West. JC would have won last year had they had more depth, better play calling, and not given up. (They were right there with them until the last 3 seconds of the first half). All these issues have been put to rest this year. And they open up against Greenville instead of West. So they hopefully will have at least one win under their belt to build a little confidence on before they go to M town.
