Good Job JBS. You have a bye-week now, rest, stay focused, get ready for Nashville Christian. They are a good team....Not doing so hot this year, but that is no reason to not take it to them. Good Win JBS. Solid 1st half. 2nd Half alittle scary, but still, the Defense held on, and ya'll got the win 17-7. It was close, just like I thought it would be. It came down to a 4th down play for Eagleville, in my opinion, that if they would have converted, they had potential in that drive (their last, I think), that they could have scored, bringing the score to 17-14 (assuming PAT is good). Who knows, maybe an on-side kick, and they are back into it......but like I said, a pivital point in the game (I thought), JBS defense held on, and the offense took it from there. Good game. Little things still need to be adjusted, but as you play more games, everything will fall into place. Just keep up the hard work. JBS had a pretty decent sized crowd tonight. I hope that can keep up, and grow, as JBS looks for another 10-0 season (I HOPE!!). Stay focused this off-week.Prepare. Stay out of trouble. Good luck guys! Keep it going.

Dang dude! Someone has done their homework! Thanks for all of the stats. How long did that take you to figure? Still, I dont think that ANY team should go just on numbers....and I hope JBS isnt, after reading that (probably a factor, but not any deciding decision). I seriously doubt any schooler is running a legit 4.3 or 4.4 (now, a 4.6 or 4.7, thats alittle bit more realistic)------Tell me who runs that on Mcewen, because I havent seen that out of any of their players. Not trying to bring down Mcewen, I respect them greatly, I am just wondering who runs the forty that quick on that team. There's not many high schoolers that run that quick. There is a small portion of high schoolers that can run that....unless you are at a big-time private school, or at a 3-5a school, where almost everyone it seems is in the 4's.

Yeah, I am just wondering why you are thinking about next year already (?) . You should be wondering about this friday, and the friday after that, up until december, when its Goin' To The 'Boro time...Not next year. I guess its ok to ask yourself these questions, if you dont start, and maybe you think you will start next year, so you are looking forward to it (not saying that You in particular are doing that--if you even play, just saying). I think that Jo Byrns will have a tougher time Next year, because they are losing some really valuable seniors this year, e.i : Chris Truck, Parker Holman, Colton Morris, Ryan Hankins, T-Mont Moody, Doogie Porter, Blake Copeland, Jeremiah Smith, Glen Adkins, Keith Lutton, if I am missing anyone forgive me. Thats a strong crew of dudes. Now, they will still have Orlando Taylor, Shane Spann, kurt Reeves, Alot of lineman, Aaron Yates, Cody Poole-daddy, just to name a few. What could they accomplish? Well, to be honest, that is totally up to them. It isnt the size of the dog in the fight, its the size of the fight in the dog----ya know. If they have their hearts set on a state championship, and they are 100% dedicated to it, and they will put every effort into getting that done (and that goes for any team, any given moment), you can do it. If anybody from the school does anything bad (I am just talking to the football players, because you cant control anybody else's actions) , it will reflect the school. I cant answer that question. I know Jo Byrns beat watertown pretty good though. All I can say is, good luck Cascade. Show em' how tuff region 5 is. I hope it doesnt just come down to one team or 2 teams, in determining the winner of the region.I want everybody in Region 5 fighting hard for it. I would love to see JBS win another one though. I have re-evaluated my thinking. If you didnt notice, I still have JBS winning this one. I just didnt put into consideration before, how big this game is, and I think that Both teams will be bringing their best "A" games----therefore, Eagles50, I predict that this will be low scoring---A great game, non the less. I am just a proud fan. I have watched Jo Byrns play for a couple of years now, and you have really won me over. I like the way you play ball up in Cedar Hill. You are ALL class act kids. I like how just about every year nobody gives JBS any respect, and then you guys turn around a whoop everybody. Looks as if you are getting alittle more of the respect you deserve, this year. Amen to that. It was a great game last year. At half time, East Robertson was winning, and then as everybody was walking off the field, a transformer exploded. The game had to be continued on the next day (saturday); and JO BYRNS came back to win. Going into Overtime, and winning by ONE POINT---a run in by JBS running back Colton Morris.....a great game.

Jo Byrns by 21. All you guys have to do is PLAY YOUR BALL. You are on top of your game right now. Dont let up. Play as hard as you did last friday---BUT BETTER!! There is still room for improvement, like Tuck said, just limit the holding calls. Defense is getting it done, the offense looks good, special teams are getting there (Nice run by my boy Orlando Taylor on that kick return). Tuck, get them going this week man.
