Anyone have a score update.

Ripley needs to make a change. This coach has lost this team, both the coaches and players. He does not coach during the games he just rants and raves. I don't know anyone who respects him. It is just sad to watch. Good luck to Coach Wheeler and the Chargers during the playoffs.

Ripley has a coach that is not interested in the kids. He doesn't even live in Lauderdale county. He has a crazy coaching philosopy, and does not utilize the talent that he has. He makes very poor decisions on the field that puts the team in bad situations. I wish the administration would make a change, but it is not likely to happen. As far as the QB situation goes the kid that replaced him Friday night in my opinion did as good a job as the starter. Ripley has a good freshman class that is undefeated, but if they don't do something with the coach they will not stay together. This is strictly my opinion, but I feel like I am not the only one that thinks this way. The head coach survived last year on a talented senior class. I don't think the head coach wants to be here, but I don't know who would want him as a coach. Maybe he will leave after the season ends. He is definately losing what little support he had in the community.

Look forward to a good ballgame. Hope both teams come out healthy. It should be a good crowd and a great atmosphere. Milan fans have a safe trip to Ripley. Lets play some football.

I think Liberty is to concerned about making the big play. Their safety made a huge hit on the first series and you would have thought the game was over. Northside was more disciplied on special teams and it was ultimately a big difference in the game. If liberty's quarterback would have pitched the ball more when running the option they probably would have put more points on the board and could have put the game away. My hats of to Northside's coaches and players for staying focused and not giving up. If you let a team like Northside hang around they don't give up and they will continue to win games even if they are getting outgained statistically. Liberty has a very good team they just need to concentrate on execution and not the big play. If they execute properly thier talent will shine and they will get the big plays. If Liberty would play unselfish football and find a kicker they could be unstoppable. Good luck to both teams. I think they both will have good runs in the playoffs.

Westview's defensive line will control this game. Westview will come out with a win. If Dyersburg comes away with a loss they will be in a big hole that they may not recover from. Their team looked fragile after the loss to Ripley. Good luck to both teams.

What's going on with Dyersburg? I expected a closer game against Ripley. It's going to be an up hill battle for them the rest of the year. Their players have not ever been on this side of the ball. If they don't stick together it's going to get much worse. They are definately not use to being on the losing end. Good luck Friday night.

Dyer County needs to only have players from Dyer County. Dyersburg needs to accept the fact that DC has surpast them in athletics. All the kids need to know if they act inappropriately they will suffer disciplinary actions, but don't cancel the series. Rivalries are good for sports. The gate money helps fund all sports, its just sad when ego's get in the way and they try to make it look like it is because of the kids. Teach the teams a lesson in accountability not a lesson in quiting. What are they teaching the kids...when things get tough you just quit. You can't quit in life you must face things head on or you will never achieve anything positive. I don't have a dog in this fight I just think it is not good to handle this situation like this. This is not meant to offend any one...just my opinion.
