Are you telling me that Oak Ridge has run out of do-nuts?
Seriously, though, I liked Cleveland's stadium when Murvll played a game there - nice, clean, but the stands are a bit far from the field.
Alcoa's is not nearly big enough. Should be upgraded and twice its present size.
Just dropping by to give my prediction. I haven't seen OR since the 4-way scrimmage, but think they need to mature a bit.
DB 24
OR 14
(GO MARYVILLE RED REBELS!!)
I see all these threads about this team verrus that, but no one has started a MHS vs Clinton topic. Could it be that the result is a foregone conclusion and the only question is the final score and whether MHS plays 3 QBs or 4?
When will the 3rd team see the field - first half or second?
Score: IMO 47- 14 MHS (the 14 comes late against backups)
BTW: Is it true that Justin got hurt? I've been trying to get a hold of his mom or dad, but haven'r been able to yet.
Lebanon has been the pits ever since I was there in the 70's. My soph year in 75 they were really good, but since then - basically garbage.
I live in Murvul now and have the pleasure to watch a real team.
BTW, my wife's nephews, Johnny and Justin Jones played for the Devils in the late 90's early 00's.
Hey you Maryville people. I need to put faces to your screen names. How about a tailgate before the jamboree or Alcoa game?
Maybe something like a potluck supper prior to one of the games. We Methodists are big on food!

Yo, REALREDPRIDE, check this out!@
"Rebels ranked in Bianco Poll
07-15-06
The nationally recognized Tony Bianco "Tony Poll" has the Maryville
Red Rebels ranked at #18 in the nation in their pre-season poll!
Bianco ranked Byrnes High of Duncan, SC #1 in this years poll. The
Rebels are sandwiched between two other national powerhouses,
Springdale Arkansas and Mt. Carmel of Chicago."
Murphy ranks the teams alphabetically in the pre-season poll.
HC has to go thru Maryville first. Every year Maryville get ranked behind someone in preseason - HC, Melrose, Hillsboro, Red Bank, etc. But how many of them actually beat Murvull? By my count, it's ZERO.
Can't help you on which schools are interested, but the "starter" is Derrick Hunt. But really they play equal time. General consensus is that Burnette has the better arm.
Yo Red Rebel - Where you from, age etc. Do you play for Murvul, have akid there, etc. I have one who's a junior one out now and in the Marines (Iraq presently).
We ougt to name or region - "The Already Decided Champion" region.
Who would win a "no classification" playoff for football in Tennessee? Public schools only.
My top two would be Riverdale and Maryville. I will post my champion later.
