I played for DT at LaVergne in 2002 he took what was a soft football team and turned them into a hardnosed team that came to work everyday was the intentions on getting better. Well as a Wolverine supporter I would love to see Steve Carson get the LaVergne job. Coach Carson is the OC at Smyrna and is very happy there but Im sure he wants to be a Head Coach. Carson was at LaVergne until the 200 season he left to become OC at Franklin County they made the playoffs every year he was there. He is also no stranger to the Defensive side of the ball, he coached DE at LaVergne under Rick Collins(Riverdales DC) then later on was selected as linebackers coach for the EAST team in the 2003 EAST-WEST all star game. So if I hadf to pick a new Head Coach today it would Steve Carson.
