It wouldn't surprise me to see anyone make a run and win it. Dekalb lost to the #7 seed Cannon County last night. So this district is unpredictable.

After last night's game againist Dekalb Cannon's has to be the best. Dekalb's was very good for an away game, but Cannon's was awesome

Cannon was 2nd in the district in 2003. Last year was the first time they were winless in the district in a long time.

I'm not the one confused. If you read my last post you would see I said Dunn should be the MVP. I'm just saying you talk about him like he is Lebron James, and the fact is other teams have limited him to well below his average

Dunn-Livingston Nixon-Smith Baxter-Upperman Bass-Dekalb McCall or Champion-Cannon

Baily hasn't been very good for Cannon maybe because of the injury,but Dunn is no doubt the best and most of Livingston's team. Smith's #23 i think don't know his name and not really sure about the rest in the district.

Cannon was up 12-2 at one point, had the lead at the half, and some of the 3rd and fell apart like they have so many times this year and ended up losing 58-39.

This is a crazy district because literaly anyone could win from 1-7. I think Livingston is the best team just because of there speed and shooting ability and they should win. 2nd could be anybody even Cannon has played every team close this year so it should be fun to watch.

Dekalb has held Dunn to 12 and 13 points in there two games and Cannon County held him to 12. I agree he is the best player in the district and he would get my vote for mvp if I was voting, but don't say that he can't be stopped.

So you are saying that if a coach has been arguing calls with you all night you don't love to T him up and remember that everytime you ref any of his teams games? All I would ask is that officials only make calls when they are in postion to make them and if there are not don't blow the whistle.

Both teams better be hitting free throws, because if this is a normal Dekalb-Cannon game it might come down to that. It is also senior night so I would suggest getting there plenty early for a decent seat.

Should be a good game the gym will be packed. The first game was good except for all the stuff at the end. What do you guys think about this one?

I've been to every gym in the district this season except Macon and Upperman. Since no one is talking about macon i guess theres isn't very good and I don't know about upperman so I can't say anything about them, but of all the ones I've been to Cannon's or Dekalb's is the best and Dekalb only gets pumped about the Cannon game so right now I would have to say it's Cannon's they bring it almost every game.

It is really easy to win with 8 players on 5. Cannon's coach was T'd up again for nothing I think the refs had to be from around Livingston but almost every ref in 7-AA is horrible. I watch them laugh every time they give somebody a technical

When I went to Livingston that was the quitest gym I've ever been to. I stil think its Cannon's or Dekalb's but I could be wrong.

Livingston is probably the best team in the district because they have so many shooters and speed. But this district is unpredictable anybody can beat anybody on any night.

First of all the refs in 7-AA were once again terrible, but that wasn't the difference in the game in the 2nd half Livingston just outplayed Cannon. The livingston coach showed some poor class leaving in his starters and pressing with a 20 plus point lead, and he didnt pull his starters until 2 minutes. Before that he was probably my pick for coach of the year but that was just no class at all.

Me to man i was disapointed, they are always great games. Your rigtht teams do feed off momentum throughout the game, and they need it the whole time. Sometimes student sections play a big role in the outcome of the game. I'm looking forward to this gane Feb 12 now!

I think this is terrible if both teams players are healthy then they should go on and play the game

I'm sure both schools will be fired up for this game since it a big rivalry.

The last time these two teams played the game was great, except for the circus at the end let's hope that doesn't happen again. Cannon picked up its first district win tuesday night should be some momentum going into friday. Dekalb has been playing well lately should be another barn-burner. Cannon finally got a district win. They played tremendous defense on Nixon. Hopefully this is the beginning of a run for the Lions.
