Hey, where are all the smack talking CHS fans now? We were really looking forward to all the excuses and explanations as to why centennial didn't make history tonight... I guess CHS fans were all just talk. Or, maybe your mouths are too full of crow.

it was like that last year too. completely inappropriate. we were actually laughing at how pathetic he was. and what a lack of character that shows. especially after his announcement about good sportsmanship right before the start of the game. we couldn't believe that a grown man would behave that way. maybe he could take lessons on how to announce a game with dignity and class from some of the other williamson county schools. as for the music, i really hope that the person that picked that awful superman song was just naive and has no idea what it is about.

We were sitting right next to the student section on the franklin side (believe me that won't happen again) and it is true that all night when anyone wearing brentwood blue walked through, they would boo. They were actually booing a girl in a brentwood swim team shirt at the time the injured player was coming off the field. I would say it was a combination of bad timing and dumb high school behavior. Now, back to more important matters. Can anyone tell me what has happened to Frankin's offense this year? Last year they had such a good game. They only lost one game during the season. What has changed? I know that some really good players graduated, but that does not account for all of the trouble. I wonder what changed. Anyone have an opinion on that?

I am a Franklin fan, but I agree. Frankingenerals (is that even spelled correctly?) , you need to grow up. That sort of violent trash talk is just inexcusible. You bring no class to the table, and embarass ALL FHS fans.

that is funny, were you lined up on the sidewalk with those fans? because i had someone that got spit on tell me this information.

maybe if independece were better at sportsmanship, then people would be less eager to talk so much trash now. i have never attended a football game with more obnoxious behavior from the home team/announcers/fans than when i attended an independence home game. the fans lined up on the sidewalk and as the opposing team came through the fans spit on them. classy move. i for one am glad that they are getting to learn this life lesson. maybe next season they will have learned how to be gracious winners. and act like they have some class/character.

Franklins JV beat them a couple of weeks ago. In fact Franklins JV is undefeated.

Franklin 23 - Father Ryan 3

I was taking up for Todd Campbell, not trying to say anything about who should play QB. People try to read too much into these posts. I think Todd Campbell is super and will make a difference in the Franklin vs Father Ryan game. Who is "bickering"? Not me. Are you?

one of the QBs (Cantrell) played JV last year and the other one (Sellers) is a sophomore, so that means that Todd Campbell never played with one and only a limited amount or not at all with the other.

You people need to stop nit-picking. When you do that, it just screams nerd! If you can figure out what is being said; then what is the big deal? Does it really make you feel good about yourself to point out someone else’s mistakes?

You ever play golf? If not, I will tell you that most people have a worst game if they are behind a slower group. Having to wait too much throws you off your game. Even if you get yourself loose and warmed up with a couple of buckets of balls before the game. But, if you hit a certain pace you have a better chance at a good game. Pitchers like the same thing. Same thing here. If you are playing and then having to sit for a while and then put back in (especially at QB), it can throw you off your game. So, it is a different kind of getting warm that I am talking about.

If they give the start to Sellers, the sophmore, it will be a very different Franklin offense. That boy can run pass the ball when he needs to. He stats from last night (0-3) are misleading (I saw the replay). The never gave him time to get warmed up, they put him in and took him out about 4 times (each time after Cantrell threw another interception). Plus, they never let him loose to run the ball. Check out the replay if you can and see what the announcers have to say about him. If Sellers starts, it will be Franklin over Oakland, 28-7.
