Ooltewah has Franklin next year also Maplewood again and Tyner.

Farragut had 2 first downs the entire game. Their D played great. They were worn out by the end of the game though. Great game from both teams. Running backs for Farragut not a factor at all. Weird thing is...we won't be playing the Ads next year unless it is in the playoffs. Glad to win the last game. GO OWLS!

Just a question...what was the Cleveland vs Rhea county score? Didn't Cleveland beat them pretty bad? Maryville could have beaten Cleveland by as much as they wanted... I remember last year..or maybe the year before and undefeated Red Bank came calling and got the fool beat out of them. Same with Morristown West a couple years before...I am sure it was destiny for all them too. I say Rebels by 3 touchdowns.I'd say 5 but they are playing at Rhea County and that is a HUGE advantage.

He came to Ooltewah cause they offered him the job, missed coaching the kids and lives about 20 minutes from Ooltewah.Youre the absurd one. The fact they had a year like last year followed by what they accomplished this year makes the point. You think the Owls have such great athletes anyone could coach them??? Look at Cleveland now...4th in the Region...they have more athletes on that team than several teams put together. Go back look at his record year in and out. When I played at Cleveland we never lost PERIOD. You think Coach Monroe was retired from coaching and one day said hey that Ooltewah High school has some great athletes. I think I'll come out of retirement, call them up, and see if they will hire me so it will make me look good and people will think I can coach again. It is the way it has been for years with the playoff system like it is. In the Ooltewah Farragut match ups history shows that one teams usually beats the other twice. Year before last we beat them twice. Before that they beat us twice. We just beat Soddy twice. Farragut just beat Mcminn twice this year. It is just how it has been. So yes it is harder when you play someone twice in one season, but then again you are playing the same players and coaches as you did before. I have Owls winning this one 27-21. GO OWLS

These kind of post make me laugh. We were down by one at halftime. That wasnt' last year. The Owls know how tough Soddy is. It is always difficult to beat a team twice. Polk has great speed that you can STUDY all you want -still difficult to stop. I am guessing too that the slant won't be open for Soddy everytime this time as well.This is the second round of the playoffs. NO ONE will be overlooking anyone. GO OWLS

He has completed 77 of 127 passes this season for 1,072 yards, 15 touchdowns and only seven interceptions, as well as rushing for 626 yards and four touchdowns on 87 carries, an average of 7.2 yards a touch (again, all stats prior to Rhea/Cleveland game) and he was not your QB??WHATEVER. I heard Tipton was out for the season. Terrell Parks will be QB. I think that will hurt the Raiders more on Defense. Tucker is irreplaceable. No comparison in coaching Danny Wilson is no GQ. Not even close. Maryville wins BIG in this one with Cleveland without TUCKER TIPTON.
