First off, prayers for the injured player. Now for my opinion on the valley teams tonight.. 1.Marion County: Offense just isn't about Zeman this year. They have couple other players that can run and a QB that can pass. Defense looks like years past, any team with a good QB and receivers could cause them trouble. 2. South Pittsburg: Decent on both sides of ball. Needs some fine tuning but I think they will be fine. 3. Whitwell: Coach has team headed in right direction! Kind of small but quick and they aren't afraid to hit. Keep up the good work coach!

First off let me say its good to be back in the orange and black! Can't wait to see this team in action! I'll have to reintroduce myself to some of the old friends at the game....bossbro, peg leg and a few others.....

Not the best Whitwell has played but we will take it...looking forward to Fridays match up with South Pittsburg.

Actually he was timed at 4.3 in college but that's the past. ..Marion will do fine this year.

How easy players are forgotten....MC had one in 08 09 season

IMO, the team to beat in the valley for 07 is sp. Only becouse they beat the other valley teams in 06 but as everyone knows every year is different. That is just my opinion.

I agree, a local competition would be great. I for one would like to see it come together.

Lets not forget about the LL Base Ball team from Jasper that won state titles back to back or the LL FB team that defeated Scottsboro. The only team to beat them in a Harvest bowl in four years!! I believe MCHS has a good chance to make it to the big game every year. Thats my Opinion and im intitled to it. You go ahead and rant on all you want. I myself am done on this topic!!!!

First let start out by saying huge is spelled incorrectly.You should know better!! Second, your right it did veer off topic. Only becouse I posted a comment about moving on to bigger and better things. I also commented on the list by saying I liked it also. The other children(I mean grown ups) didnt like my post. So in there childish manner took it upon there selves to trash me. Sorry for getting off topic, but i didnt see anything wrong with what I posted. Like i said earlier in my post, I like the list of players.

Your right, the coachs should handle it their way. I didnt mean to dump on any kid. I have to remeber they are just kids. And yes, i must keep the other half happy or as they say,"If momma isnt happy nobody is happy!"

So when did I say that MC was better in both ways? All i said was that i moved on to bigger and better things, right? IMO, MC FB program is better. So we all have an opinion and can agrue till we are blue in the face over that if you want. IMO, you cheer for your team and say what you want and ill do the same. I have no need to act childish over this topic or any other topic for that matter.Not saying you are,but you know how some people are. Hey wouldnt you be considered a double fence jumper!!!

Just wondering but how do you know anything about me? Your right i dont have son playing, but my other half has kids in jasper schools. This isnt about me and what i did just trying to prove my point about all these pittsburg people running at the mouth about what a great team they have. Some of those players should embarrass the orange and black.

No need to pray for me, Im happy in my decision to jump that fence and find a new home and team to cheer for. Dont get me wrong Mc didnt need any help instilling power from anyone. It is there and always will be.If you want to talk about championships how many did sp win in say bb. how many and how long ago. Heard Jasper won back to back in little league. The ninties were good to MC as one or two of those years went to sp as well. Dont talk championships MC has more!!Some other news id like to break to you, how did sp do in little league fb. Heard they got beat by a new team that hasnt even been around that long? North Marion, yep thats the name of that team. Looks like that Marion name comes up alot in fb!

no I didnt graduate in 76. Later on. So sp beat mchs in 06 just wait till 07. Mc has good players returning and will be alot better this year. Just wondering who was voted all region from SP or MC. Has anyone heard?

Thats funny, but i went to school in South Pitts. Trust me, i would be the first to answer "I Do" to any of those so called players. None impress me, I have seen a lot of better players come through pittsburg. Plus none of them were showoffs and laughing when we were losing. That is truly an insult to the ones that play hard and want to win!!

Wrong on both! Went to South Pitts, just not a fan of their program anymore. Went on to bigger and better. You know MCHS! :thumb:I guess you could call me one of those "fence jumpers".
