  1. Not discounting anything LOL, pointing out he had only one year as varsity starting QB after waiting his turn /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> And thank you for all your kind words and compliments on him.
  2. Congrats go out to my nephew Bradley Davenport for making the All Star Line up for Decembers All Star East/West classic game at Carson Newman. Youve worked hard and only had one season to show for it, we are all proud of you! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Congrats also to Zach Fleming LB from DB for also making the east team on defense, I dont know you personally but I know everyone at DB is also proud of what you too have accomplished /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  6. You and me both, not to discount Taylor in any means, I think it would have been my call of choice.
  7. Great Post and I will say at the South loss last year i talked to probably 4 or 5 players on the Red Rebels after the game and they Showed more sportsmanship and maturity than I had seem from young men in some time, The program is no doubt something to be proud of. I remeber wishing your star TE last year best of luck at UT and I still cant wait to see him play on Saturdays, he was the most well mannered and humble guy Ive talked to in awhile. I wish you nothing but the best and look forward to a great game Saturday in Greeneville, Columbia Blue Supportin the Greene! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  8. Yeah Bobby will be a load next year no doubt, cant wait to see the new faces on the field next year, Mycousins boys will be playing to cheer for. Of course Dillan Hammonds played this year on D and "JJ" Jason Johnson will be coming up also. We'll have a tougher hill to climb next year no doubt w/ reclassification but I know the program and Carter and staff will be ready for it. Good luck to Bobby next year BTmom, Brad alwasy talked highly of him and really liked him.
  9. I agree for the last four years this one will stand out the most. Greenevilles Kick block was the game winner in my eyes. Awesome special teams play on the G Devils part no doubt, I have to say thier line seem to want it more. Talking to players after the game I wished Greeneville players luck and they wholeheartedly have my support next week against Maryville. Hoping you guys prove the NE TN "SPeedbump" theory wrong. I will be donned in Columbia Blue while working my white towlie for Greeneville all the way. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  10. yup I see you joined today, another pot stirring Idiot, hurry and log off before your mom finds out your on the PC ROTFLMAO /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
  11. Read a lil better bud nothing to do with the game, its about trashing a young man for no reason on these forums.
  12. What the heck is this jab?? Bradley was absolutly amazing in this game, fumbled once but no Greeneville points off of it. Passed great all night. But by seeing your post joining date and number of posts your just a pot stirrer whos mommy just let him join this board. Amazing keyboard courage genius, come out in the real world n run that mouth and I'll hand you your rear end in a hand basket PERIOD! Its a shame the class Greeneville fansand players had during and after the game they get representation like yourself on these forums. Not to Dis Barb or the other Greeneville faithful whove been great but this guys an Idiot. Oh I'll be down for Friday nights game feel free to look me up /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  13. He sure did make us proud MM! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Great kid with a great christian outlook on life, I know he got that from you and his momma =)
  14. Youve got our support come next week, I'm sure i wont be the only Columbia Blue clad fan on the home side cheering Greenville on next week. Win or lose you guys erned the shot and we all need toback this and help root you thru Maryville /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Watching TD friday Night Maryville capitalized on Rheas turnovers so hold on tight and control the clock. It will be a good game and I pray you have no injuries.
  15. First and foremost............ /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Gratz the the GreeneDevils on the win! Very well played game by both team, and it was a barn burner as expected. Your Slash QB Hall, cant say enough about him, kid has tons of talent running that ball. We had a great season and have nothing to hang our heads down about, great job Rebs on a wonderful season. Hope you guys dont mind the south gear cause my wife and I will be wearing it as we sit on your home side next week rooting you on against the University or Maryville /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> We all need to show support for the locals, and prove the naysayers that NE TN football is just a speedbump for Maryvile on way to state. We love you Bradley and are proud of the great memories you gave us all this year!!!
  16. No, other side of the family for me bud. See you guys tomm night better break out the long johns and cold gear cause it may get a lil frigid. But I cannot wait to see a showcase of speed on that turf, the field looks AMAZING! /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> Lemme state as i have earlier in posts w/o a doubt this years team has so many great young men on it, its amazing. The maturity and class these kids show me everytime ive talked to them makes me even more proud to be a Rebel fan! I guess my favorite sleeper for the year is Ricky Neeley, man what a hoss. This kid may not have the D1 size or speed that people prototypicaly take but let me tell you NO one on that field has a bigger heart. He has to be my defensive player of the year with Columbo right there with him. I think if the opposing team drove a truck on the field Charlie would take it on w/o a 2nd thought LOL, that kids talent to get to the ball and his fearless tackling makes him deadly.
  17. LOL very funny forum Noob /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> I'll deal with you later /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Oh and Realrebel69..................Relation yes and I dont mind who knows it, Im his uncle and love him like a son or brother of my own. Great Christian kid thats active in church and an all around great, mature young man. He makes me a better person just knowing him and could set an example for us all on how we should be living our lives. Good luck Rebels tomm night, lets roll thru the Devils!!!!
  18. Last two summers? First off Curt was the starting QB the summer before and its great he practiced with him as he should have been, but I'm unsure where these kids were practicing at but BD was a workaholic in the offseason, running and lifting as well as participating in the offseason work outs, Dont think anyone came down toward Fall Branch way to throw any balls, road does go both ways, parents work and some werent driving themselves at that time, so unfair to call that out PEROID. But I'll point out it seems there is an inner school rift i can see and feel at these games when it comes down to who came from Colonial heights and who came from Sullivan and who runs with who and so on, I'm not the only Rebel fan who has said this also. But I will say this never once have I said anything bout Seth, great kid with LOADS of potential at wideout. And no doubt has made his fair share of great catches on the field. We all need to move on and get ready for Greeneville tommorow night, I'll be rooting for the whole team tomm, including good ole #1. I dont blame you for defending your son as I would do the same if mine played LOL. Lets take it out on Greeneville! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  19. Bradleys dad? got your info wrong there bud /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
  20. Without a doubt that is a field to be proud of, cant wait to see it in person and see both teams speed and cut ability on it. Good luck to both teams Friday night /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> I pray its injury free and a barn burner!!
  21. QUOTE (SatchUmp @ Nov 19 2008 - 10:09 PM) RebelRebel69, Kick a kid while he's down why dont you?!?! I'm sick of this, and I'm sick of biting my tounge, and I will not pull a punch on this post. Sorry if it hurts anyones feelings. I really dont appreciate your post, considering we are talking about two drops in one game. Sure Seth had a rough game. We all know that. He dropped two balls. He was extremely upset about it. Flat out drops. What about the three passes that were "intended" for him that weren't within 10 yards of him? I dont hear anyone on here blasting anyone for that. You wanna blame SW for that too? Up until this point SW has made great catches all year long when thrown to, MOST of which were poorly thrown, and MOST of these catches kept drives alive. Go back and look at the films and see that. Also, go back and look at how many times SW was wide freakin' open when the ball was forced to KK. KK does make it look awesome though. KK is a player. How many times must it be pointed out how open SW is? Why not throw it DEEP to the fastest guy on the team? One deep ball all year, on target, and a 63 yard td vs Boone. Right?!? But, you want to jump on a kid who seldom gets two balls throw his way an entire game. To be honest, and we all know and recognize that SW's and AZ's routes are seldom even looked at. I, by no means, am bashing BD, we love the kid and his family, I'm just stating the freakin' facts as I'm upset and feel I need to defend SW ... I am stating the same things here, that I have heard from at least a dozen different people that have watch our games this year, including a former South Coach - "Why dont they throw SW the ball more often. He's open." So you want to point out two plays from this entire game. You know three other people dropped balls and one fumbled away a kick. You also didn't mention the fact the ME's huge O-Line was doing a number on our D-Line. My point.... you're observation of this game is obviously selective. While I'm at it, I also want to address the freakin' band parents that sat right behind me at the game who kept saying "they (the Rebel football team) don't deserve to win, playing like this" and they "are a joke": Stay home or go home after halftime if you cant believe in our Rebels and believe that they DO deserve to win. Really bad attitude and I hope you were embarrassed when I told you so. And after OUR Rebels came back, you had the nerve to say "Who do WE play next week?" How's that? Satch, you start by saying kick a kid while hes down then go on to bash the team and its QB? You reading what your writing because I agree with you on the fact that Seth should have never been called out for the drop balls, they all drop some time to time, They need a pat on the back and some encouragement to put it behind them, move on and try harder. But......... you go on to bash Bradleys throwing ability and read ability. Well its fairly simple to see up in the stands like we are drinking pops and downing nachos, TOTALLY different view from the field in a game situation, if youve not been down there you should go and take a look sometime /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" I'm sure Seth would be embarrassed by this post or should be that you post it in this way. And on the passes not within 10 yards of him, um if you look the recievers not open and ball is being thrown away is what I saw. Little late to say your not Bashing BD or the team because your post sure did. We need to promote a team and push for unity, not point fingers at people as the original poster Rebelrebel69 did on Seth. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
  22. Oops i was a lil unfair i had Crawfords stats thru 11 games and Davenports thru 10 lets update a little. Crawford 08 passing stats 86 of 131 for 1288 yards, 65% 12 TDs 4 INT. Davenport 08 passing stats 103 of 170 for 1520 yards, 60.6% 21 TDs 5 INT. Crawford 08 rushing stats 485 yards on 93 attempts, 5.2 average, 10 TDs Davenport 08 rushing stats 899 yards on 119 attempts, 7.55 average, 10 TDs I'm not discounting Crawfords abilities at all, they speak for themself, plus congrats on Offensive player of year in his Division and 1st team QB /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> He earned those. Just posting stats facts for Titansvols to look at /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />
  23. OMG ROTFL!!!! Crawford the best in the area? Good yes......Best no. Am I biased......yes w/o a doubt. But Ive also been told by DB ball players how they wish they had Davenport playing for them, hhhmmm, tells you something doesnt it. Crawford 08 rushing stats 485 yards on 93 attempts, 5.2 average, 10 TDs Davenport o8 rushing stats 865 yards on 111 attempts, 7.79 average, 10 TDs Crawford 08 passing stats 86 of 131 for 1288 yards, 65% 12 TDs 4 INT. Davenport 08 passing stats 88 of 150 for 1266 yards, 58.7% 16 TDs 4 INT. Crawford and Davenport both have 60 points scoring individually not counting TD throws. counting TD throws its.... Crawford 132 points Davenport 156 points Hard to pad stats when Davenport only played the first half of 50% of Souths games this year. Wouldnt be close if he had. Base it as you want too but I like Davenports overall better stats and better rushing capabilities when needed. And i would have included playoff stats TitansVols but I almost forgot that wouldnt be fair with you guys going out in the first round every year as of late /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  24. In my own opinion Maryville is a well coached group of kids, year in year out they are great and never seems to be a drop off in talent. They should have been 5A some time back before this reclassification ever rolled around. In no way am I looking past Greeneville but i think South has a good shot at them this year, especially w/ East TN home field advantage.
