Holding SP to 4 TDs is an accomplishment defensively. Something I wouldn't have to much stock into saying Dresden would have done. I've said it before and I'll say it again. "So goes Rice, so goes WC". It was that way last year too against NCS, yet last year WC had 2 of the best LB in the State. This year WC a little weaker on D. It got them as far as it could.

I like WC. I pulled for and support WC. But GB is not WC.... Even if WC could have won last night, my pick for Gold would still have to be Greenback. .

.... I agree wholeheartedly... Best defense in 1A is in GB... I stated at the first of the season the road to Gold runs through GB. At the end of the season? It still runs through GB. Dresden is good and deserves to be in this fight, but they are no NCS of last year. This is GB's year to get it done. GB has the experience of being there and doing that at the State level against a better team last year, this year those same Kees are ready I believe.

That punt turnover was huge... WC defense out right stopped the Lions with two big sacks only to have a gimme mistake like that to get Dresden within easy scoring range.... it happens.

Gonna be close... Computer predictors showing rain in West Tn. aound 7pm and moving on into Mid Tn. around 9pm... Might be rain in thd second half might hold off til after the game...
