I'll never overlook Unaka. They always play us close. and our boys know that. It should be a good one. hopefully we will be going up the creek and down the creek all night. lol

Coming from a team who really hasn't had much success in the past. last year their was a buzz about us! the crowds followed the team everywhere. once the team backed up the buzz! we had a great season!! but I can relate to the crowds not following a team if they are not successful. it's very true! sad but true!! So how does unaka look this season? will CD have any problems out of them?

This game has been close in the past but this year I think cd will just run away with it. Juice and Malone will have a big day. I expect Coe to have some nice runs to! If the Defense plays like yesterday and not allowing any 1st downs or maybe just 1 I can't remember but Unaka won't stand a chance. Can't wait till next friday!!!!!! My prediction CDHS 35 UHS- 7

I have to lol take my loss like a man. ha ha but yeah they both have alot of speed and it was a very close race.

I'll eat my crow and say I was wrong. but I do believe the hit hall put on him in the first play they had really hurt him. he never acted the same after that hit. i'm talking about the sprint and malone lost. I thought CD looked better than okay. the defense played really well and the offense does what it does eats clock and drives it down your throat. we just don't have the offense that puts up 50 points we will run and grind out a low scoring game. but we had our way with Grainger. Greeneville looked like I thought they would just bigger faster than everyone eles. that run by hall was awesome he carried a guy 10 yards to get a touchdown! West Greene line is really good. the d needs some help but I was really impressed with the buffs Oline. South Greene played sloppy but you can tell where they don't have the 3 studs from last year. they should be alright they are not as bad as people think. North Greene will surprise alot of teams this year. they played well imo. But it was a great day for football!! Had alot of fun and I think the boys did to! I'm ready for it all to start next week!!!

Well duh lol who wouldn't show off their rings. i'm trying to say that it's time to move on from last season and if they live in last season's great run they will get beat. it's time to put the rings up and play football. that's all I was saying but I can see that as being trash talk i guess. but def not my motive right there.

Chuckey Doak starters tied with Sullivan North Today.. Then the back ups went in and Sullivan North took over the game! and i hear Greeneville got smashed in the mouth today.. that's a good thing imo it might bring them back down to earth and stop showing everyone those rings on their fingers.. but it could also be a bad thing that they might be as good as everyone thought. but it's just preseason. alot to talk about before we kick off.. Malone will be the fastest there.. he was last year he will be this year.. he prob got faster. what the problem is talking about him we have no clue what goes down that way cause no one post on coach t and gives updates from Claiborne Cumberland Gap Grangier. if i had to take a wild guess he has got faster from last year.. it will be a close one in that race but i think he will come out on top..

Yeah Collins has been working hard this off season. he is coming off a good season under center so I expect good things or better. I'm excited about the season I think we will have another great season. is it football season already? lol can't wait

Honestly I haven't heard anything.. CD always plays S.North before every season. but i'll find out and let you know something asap.

North Greene WILL NOT beat south greene haha.. they might not be as strong as year's past but they will be pretty good. Still light years ahead of north greene.. lol Nice try though

Barb I'm not saying that. The only thing I fear is our o line. if they step up this season we will be great. but the line will decide how far this team goes this season.. and at the WR we are very young.. we lost marsh and ramsey they got alot of our passing yards last year. but we should be good.. Respect the game We lost Chris Pardy and Dale Jaynes that was the bulk of our line.. but like I said that's the biggest question mark I have coming into this season.. We have a great QB. we have 3 great running backs.. we need some body to step up at the wideout.. defense should be solid this year.. overall we should have a good team. How is the mighty devils looking?? Something i have heard this offseason. you guys have 3 new kids and they are studs idk if there is any truth behind it but i'm sure that will be big if you get another willie c at qb this season.. but i know the defense will be stout like always.. the offense idk about you return one back the oline is still intact..

The Main Thing CD will have problems at will be the O-LINE maybe WR to.. but other than that CD will be good.. i look for them to finish 2nd or 3rd.. Should be a fun year

I hear greeneville has got 3 or 4 new studs coming in from out of state.. which wouldn't suprise me with how greeneville lands kids from out of state cause greeneville is such a great city for jobs haha lol but im not trying to pick a fight cause im use to it.heard one of the kids is 3x faster than willie but doesnt play qb. idk if thier is any truth behind it but its been the talk of the local ymca-eastview from the GHS students.. but if it is true greeneville will prob walk to state again.. if alcoa doesnt hurt them to bad..

I think the problem with south greene is the coach. they have the talent to make it back to state. thier is just no fire in these girls this year. idk alot about the new coach. but i know dyer was a great coach. i know thier is not alot of fans of him.. but he lit a fire into these girls. and since he has left they havent had that same passion. i expect to see a good south greene team toward torny time.. CD will prob finsh it out number 1 this year. with ghs in 2nd and i can see sghs finshing 3rd then grainger. But im very proud of my lady knights they are playing GREAT!!! GO CD

We can't choose who we play once again. we play the same teams every year. and he has only had on bad game and that was Greeneville. cause we all know Greeneville is GOD! so we know he wouldn't run all over that Perfect Defense! and I agree CD has had trouble with running qbs. but Malone and Carmichael are way faster than Jalen but don't get me wrong he isn't to much slower than them but they are faster than him. he is south greenes offense. they have other weapons but they won't win a game by them self's but Jalen can that's why he is the south greene offense! if we slow him down we will win. I know it's going to be a close one I never said it was going to be a blowout I picked us to win by 2td's. I dont think south greenes defense will be able to slow us down. but this game should be a great game one! I can't wait to see CD win at Reb hill and get #1 seed in the playoffs for the east quad!!
