Just wondering how Coach Levon stands in the community. Ipersonally think he is a fine guy, Iquestion his coaching ability at times but that could be said about myself and everybody else who coaches. However, I know they are a single A team that is loaded with expectations very high. With that, comes the behind the scenes bad-mouthing and just wondering if people agreed or it is just a poor support from poor fans?

I definitely saw about 5 key calls or NO CALLS within the final 3 minutes that in my opinion changed the ending of the game. That being said, Linclon Co had them beat, but pretty much give it away. Don't know the stats, but I would guess about 5 of LC's last 7 posessions were turnovers. The Freshman definitely walked, also there were two situations where officials made a call where they said a Shelbyville player was fouled in the act of shooting. However both calls were made late, after the referees saw that Shelbyville had missed the shots.

Should be a pretty good matchup. Just tell ya boy Lynus M. to not over play because CC has alot of sets with back-cuts, pressure the ball, and get in the face of the new transfer kid, because he will not put it on the floor and try to create, but I do give him credit, he can play.

Have to admit that Cannon Co. has improved a bunch. Of course the transfer helps them out alot offensively, but all the kids are playing better. I look for them to play well against York, but I don't know who they have to defend the scorer that York has. Livingston by 12 Upperman by 7 Cannon Co. by 3

Your right, but I believe Coach Worrell at Tech kept the secret better than anybody. In terms of Women's Basketball-talent has been at a high level for decades not just years. But back to Worrell, he played every year with a District 7-AA all star team, throw in one from Shelbyville, Mt. Juliet, and West Tennessee and his roster was set.

Don't put too much stock in what this Jake has to say Coach. He obviously just wants to hide behind his keyboard and rip people who give their opinions and analysis of what the see and hear-thought that was what a MESSAGE board was for but maybe we're wrong coach, maybe its just a trash-talkin board. I can understand the kids doing that, they are playing against each other on the court, but not us (Adults?). Good luck to you and your kids this year.

I understand that, I was just making an observation. Thats Rick's ole stompin ground, and I also know he loves to make apperances.

Saw Upperman at Franklin Co playday. They beat Westview easily, but Westview doesn't have much although they used to. Anyway, Upperman plays the same up-tempo, push the ball up the floor after makes and misses style of basketball. The two main shooters, are complimented pretty well this year by a back-up PG and another kid off the bench. Also, has the big girl, if she learns how to fininsh she'll be able to really help them, but they run too much right now for her to be a big factor. Coach McWilliams does a fine job.

Penn State, Tennessee Tech, Vandy Women's Melanie Balcomb. No MTSU rep, thought that was odd.

Knox Webb and Riverdale was a great game with Knox Webb winning in sudden death. Knox Webb has two studs in the post, and they were fun to watch.

I agree with the fact the district is fairly weak this year, but like always games will be pretty close. Who are the best and worst coach's of the district? I go McWilliams=best Couey=winless/worst
